Amanda yawned and stretched her arms on the bed. She rubbed her eyes and stared at the ceiling.

Her forehead creased and she roamed her eyes expecting to find her bag and cellphone beside her.

Startled, she stood up but bumped hee head with someone.

"Ouch!" Amanda complained and patted her head and looked at the person she bumped into.

Her eyes widened when it met Mr. Park's.

"Good morning to you, too." Mr. Park said slyly and rubbed his head. "Samahan mo ako magbreakfast sa baba."

"Thanks but no thanks." Amanda quickly said and stood up to grab her bag. Positive that her key card is with her, she stepped out of the room.

"Not so fast, baby." Mr. Park said and grabbed her arm.

"Ang hilig mo manghila no?" Amanda shot back and frowned. "FYI, kailangan ko maligo at magpalit ng damit dahil amoy beer ako. Nakakahiya naman sayo diba."

Mr. Park sighed and gave up.
"Fine. Meet me at the dining hall after an hour."

Amanda rolled her eyes and left the room in finality.

As she passed by the glorious hallway, she can't help not to admire the perpetual beauty of the resort itself.

Elegant is an understatement. The place is beyond words.

She would love to be wedded in such a picturesque place as this. Amanda sighed.

Hindi lang kpop at gwapo ang need kong mapangasawa kung gusto kong makasal sa ganitong lugar. Mayaman dapat! Ubod ng yaman!

Amanda shook her head in response to her fantasy.

She was about to turn to her door when she saw Olivia and Mr. Jin, Mr. Park's older brother, arguing at the lobby. They seemed oblivious to everyone around them.

Amanda shrugged thinking the two needed some privacy and that whatever it was, they obviously need to catch up on something. She decided to leave them alone and went inside her room to do her thing.

After what seemed like an eternity, Mr. Park could only sigh in annoyance when Amanda did not come down to eat breakfast with him.

He was about to return back to Amanda's room when he heard someone call his name.

"Park, my man!" Stuart greeted him and signalled him to join him in their table.

Mr. Park grinned seeing as how Amanda frown on her seat as she chatted with her friends.

"Morning, papi!" Jessica squealed and even gave Mr. Park a flying kiss.

Mr. Park ignored him and greeted everyone on the table except Amanda. Napangisi nalang sya ng magtama ang mata nilang dalawa ng dalaga.

"What's your agenda today?" Mr. Park asked as he chewed his pineapple.

"Probably spend some time in the pool since we'll be heading back to Manila in the afternoon." Stuart answered.

Mr. Park noticed that the girls were whispering among themselves even Jessica who appears to lead the conversation.

"Really? What time will you be leaving? I have to be back home too. I can drive some of the girls there." Mr. Park volunteered.

"NO!" Jessica, Olivia and Leni answered in unison and kept quiet at the same time. Amanda shrugged and continued eating.

"Whoa! Easy ladies!" Mr. Park said in disbelief. "I don't bite. But fine. I won't come with you." He shook his head still confused with their behavior.

Suddenly, Mr. Jin tapped both Mr. Park's and Stuart's back and both gave high five as greeting.

"Dudes! Haven't jammed with you in awhile!" Mr. Jin remarked and grabbed a vacant chair from another table to seat between them.

"We'll be at the pool after this. Let's bond over there." Stuart suggested and drank his juice.

Mr. Park nodded and Mr. Jin grinned in agreement.

"That's a great idea!" Mr. Jin said and took Stuart's club sandwich.

Amanda saw how Olivia cringed at Mr. Park's brother's behavior. Obviously, they knew each other as she remembered the scene at the resort's lobby earlier.

Amanda wanted to ask Olivia but remained passive about the situation. She'll wait for her friend to open up.

She was about to excuse herseld when her phone beeped.

Curious, she opened a text message from Sister Hannah.

Sister Hannah :
The kids requested to see you next week. Are you free, Amy?

Excitedly, she answered the text.

Amanda:
Yes po, Sister. My weekend is free. I'll be there by two pm.

She hit send and locked her phone before drinking her orange juice.

"Need to go to the restroom. Excuse me." Amanda got up and leave her friends at the table.

Olivia and Jessica stood up as well. Olivia joined her in the restroom while Jessica had to obliged by the rules and went to men's restroom.

Amanda and Olivia went inside the cubicle and did their thing. Afterwards, they brushed their teeth and washed their hands on the sink. Amanda redo her lipstick and adjusted her cover up.

Olivia sighed and slumped on the table.

"Ok ka lang, baks?" Amanda asked and looked at her. "You seemed tense." She asked carefully choosing her words.

"Yup. Okay lang ako." Olivia said and heaved another sigh.

"Andito lang kame, baks, if ever you want to talk." Amanda sincerely said looking into Olivia's eyes.

"Thanks." Olivia said and smiled. "Lika na, baka naghihintay na si bakla."

Together, they went out the restroom and found Jessica taking a selfie with one of the lifeguards of the resort.

Amanda and Olivia looked at each other and giggled.

"Andyan na pala ang dalawang dyosa kagaya ko!" Jessica exclaimed and tapped the guy. "Josh, meet my friends, Amanda and Olivia."

Josh, in his well-defined abs with his v-line almost coming out of his shorts, gave his killer smile at them and held out his hand for a handshake.

"Pleasure to meet such gorgeous ladies." Josh said and held Olivia's hand tightly after shaking hands with Amanda.

"Thanks." Amanda said and noticed that Josh won't let go of Olivia's hand which made her friend flinched in response. "We have to go. Nice meeting you, Josh."

Amanda grabbed Jessica and Olivia's arms and led them to the pool away from the creepy Josh.
