Yin's POV

"Thanks!" I said to Euro as he handed me back my phone after tapping in his contact number into it as I requested.

In a second I tapped on that number and my phone number got saved into his phone.

Then I happened to turn my head and saw his friend JJ walking out of the gate and walking away.

"Euro," I said, "JJ is leaving."

Euro turned his head in whiplash fashion and started to go after JJ, forgetting about me, forgetting to give me the courtesy of a 'good bye see you again soon.'

Third Person POV

JJ let himself into the gate and clanged it shut.

He did not go inside his house. Instead he walked through the small pathway on one side of the house. The pathway was just about three feet wide, with one wall of the house on one side and the cemented fence on the other side. It was just wide enough for one person to walk through.

The pathway led to the backyard.

JJ walked towards the old tamarind tree that had always been there even before he and his twin brother AJ were born.

JJ and Euro would spend countless hours sitting under that tree, just chatting, or when the late afternoon summer breeze started to blow coolly against their skin and made them feel sleepy, Euro would rest his head on JJ's lap and doze off while JJ tinkered with his phone while waiting for Euro to finish napping.

JJ's eyes started to smart as he remembered those happy times with Euro under the tamarind tree.

JJ walked towards it and sat under it with his knees drawn up to his chest, Then he lay his forehead on his knees and finally let the tears flow freely.

"I thought I'd find you here."

JJ raised his head to see Euro standing just a few feet away.

"Go away," JJ said.

"I'm not a very obedient boy," Euro said, walking purposefully towards JJ. "You, among everyone else should know that."

"You better obey me now," JJ warned Euro, "or you're the one who's gonna end up with a raccoon eye this time."

"Go ahead, give me a raccoon eye," Euro said as he continued to walk towards JJ.

Before JJ had the chance to get to his feet, Euro lunged at him and wrestled him to the ground.

"Oww! My back! My back! The large protruding root of the tamarind tree is piercing my back!" JJ whined.

Euro immediately rolled over to the side with his back flat on the ground.

JJ quickly rolled over on to Euro, raising Euro's hands above him.

Euro looked up helplessly at JJ.

"Tell me quickly," JJ said. "Yin or me. You can only choose one."

Suddenly, with one swift move of Euro, JJ found himself flat on his back once more, although Euro had moved JJ inches away from the large protruding root of the tamarind tree, making sure that it couldn't hurt JJ's back this time.

Euro held JJ's hands above him and pressed them against the ground, making JJ wince a little.

"Tell me quickly," Euro said threateningly. "Lotte or me?"

"What the fuck, you idiot!" JJ growled at Euro. "What kind of question is that?"
