JJ's POV

"JJ!" Mrs. Thanaset greeted me with her warm motherly smile. "How lovely to see you!"

I bowed and clasped my hands together in greeting.

"I'm afraid Euro is not here right now," she of course knew the reason why I had come to her house. "I sent him to the pharmacy to pick up a bottle of anti allergy pills for me."

I knew which pharmacy she was talking about. It wasn't far from here.

"Has he been gone long?" I asked.

"I'd say almost an hour ago, so he should be here any minute now," Mrs. Thanaset replied.

"Is it okay if I wait for him here?" I asked.

"Of course!" Mrs. Thanaset replied. "Would you like something to eat or drink while you wait?"

"No, thanks, I'll be fine," I replied. "I'm just gonna wait for him out here on the porch."

"Very well," Mrs. Thanaset said. "Let me know if you change your mind."

"I will, thanks," I said as I stepped out into the porch.

I heard a car door slam just outside the gate and then the gate was pushed open and Euro walked in but he was not alone. Someone I had never met before walked in right behind Euro carrying a shopping bag full of stuff with a package of potato crisps perched precariously on top of the overflowing shopping bag.

Euro looked up at me from below with a surprised expression and then he smiled nervously, or was it guiltily?

I walked down the short flight of steps from the porch to approach Euro and the stranger who was standing right behind him.

"JJ, this is Yin," Euro said. "He was very kind enough to give me a ride home from the pharmacy."

The stranger named Yin tried to extend his hand to me, but because his arms were wrapped around the overflowing shopping bag he could only extend it so far so I had to come closer to shake his hand.

"Hello, Yin," I said. "I am JJ. I am Euro's boyfriend."

"Oh!" Euro gasped loudly before asking, "Are you?"

"Am I not?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"I... I... you didn't... you didn't mention..." Euro was starting to stammer which meant there was a lot of issues going on in his brain that wanted to come out all at the same time.

Yin moved to hand over the shopping bag to Euro.

"I will be on my way then," Yin said. "Nice to meet you both. Euro, I hope to see you again, my very first friend in the neighborhood."

"I'll walk you out to your car," Euro said handing the shopping bag to me, assuming that I would take it from him but because I did not, when he let go, the shopping bag fell to the ground and all the contents spilled across the front yard.

"JJ! What the hell! Why didn't you..." Euro started to say but when he saw Yin already out of the gate he ran after him, leaving all the items lying on the ground.

I was very tempted to leave them untouched and to march out of the gate but I saw Mrs. Thanaset's bottle of anti allergy pills lying on the grass so I bent and picked it up and went inside the house and handed it to Mrs. Thanaset.

"Euro is still outside talking to his new boyfriend," I explained, "so I will get going." 

I will see you again soon." I added but I had no intention of ever coming to this house again.

Euro was still talking to Yin, with his back to me so he didn't see me leave.

I wasn't sure if Yin saw me but if he did, he didn't seem to care because he was busy smiling at whatever Euro was saying to him.

I walked as fast as I could back towards my house which was just a few minutes away from Euro's house.

"JJ! Wait!" I turned around and saw Euro walking fast towards me.

I walked even faster.

"JJ! Wait!" he yelled once more, running towards me this time.

I broke into a run. 

There's no way you can catch up with me, you unfaithful fatso.
