4 months later

Adiraj entered the board room. Kiran tensed seeing him there. What was Adiraj doing here?

Her dad who was sitting on the head chair gestured toward Adiraj and said,'' I have invited this employee, so he can give us an update on the project he is managing. The project is completing soon and I want to know how much profit we are going to make after all the hard work we have put in this project.'

Kiran felt a sick feeling in her stomach. Why was her dad so vindictive? There was no need to call all the board members for this little project and most members were silent members who never knew the day to day working of the business.

1 hour later

Kiran watched everyone leave the room one by one. Adiraj was the first one to leave. She didn't had the energy to go after him. Her father had humiliated him so badly and Adiraj had taken all the jibes quietly.

He had completed the project in this hostile environment against all the odds and yet her father was blaming him for the decisions which were made before Adiraj started working on this project.

She knew it. Everyone in the room knew it. They had all faced the vindictive streaks of her dad from time to time.

They could see that Adiraj was competent and Singhania was bullying him for no reason other than that he had dared to fall in love with his daughter.

Narayan who was still sitting looked at Kiran,'' You are not leaving?''

Kiran got up,''I am going to marry him no matter what. How do you plan to face him in future? '

Narayan was quiet, he was thinking about Adiraj's reaction. why didn't he ever react? Why he never reacted no matter the amount of humiliation? He wasn't a common person but a child born with silver spoon. Narayan was probably the only person to treat him in this manner. He should get angry.

Kiran,'' one day, he will sit in this board room with all these people. Did you ever thought about it before doing all this?''

Narayan looked at her absently not really listening,'' I want you to focus on the project you are working with Khanna. You haven't made any mistake so far yet, he is confident, you can do it yourself but then why do you make blunders when you are doing solo projects?''

Kiran looked at him angrily,'' dad are you even listening to what I am saying?''

Narayan closed his eyes for a moment,'' Kiran I know what you are saying but this place is yours. Not his. Even if he married you, you will sit in this chair. Marriage is part of life, not life. You have your life and he has his life. It was my mistake to bring him here. Now, it seems like all you have is him, him at office, him at home. No personal space left.'

Kiran,'' dad I am not looking for paper deal! we are both partner in every sense. He trusts me completely and has been bearing everything for me. But what I have given him? nothing but humiliation through you.''

Narayan,'' if he loves you so much, why he hasn't tried to get his father to meet me or you?''

Kiran,'' because we were waiting for your approval but after today I think it was stupid. I would tell him to arrange a meeting. '

Narayan sighed,'' This whole project was a test to judge him. I waited and waited for him to figure it out but he never did. He is stupid. Do you think I want such a son in law who can't handle such little matters? The only good point is his manners and looks.''

Kiran,'' because not everyone is manipulative like you. Why would he think such things? You told him to complete the project within two years and he did it. As far I am concerned, he is the best person I have met in my life.''

She left the room leaving Naryan sitting there in frustration.

Adiraj called his secretary,'' start the process.''

He put the file down and cut the call. Then, he sent an email to Kiran's secretary,'' send me details.''

He put the phone down and started to change the clothes.

Next morning

Kiran was laying on sofa watching tv, holding the cushion in her arms.

Adiraj strode out of the room.

Kiran looked at the suit he was wearing and told him,'' Don't go Adiraj. Resign. I don't want you to set another foot in that place. '

Her blood still boiled when she thought about yesterday,'' I won't let anyone humiliate you. Arrange a meeting with your dad, we will get married with his blessings.''

Adiraj smiled happily. He had been waiting to hear these words for ages,'' How about tomorrow night?''

Kiran,'' anytime which you think is appropriate. I am not working anymore, so I'm free.''

Adiraj sat down on floor and moved his fingers through her hairs,'' you are sure?''

Kiran nodded,'' I think it's better to be a house wife. I am tired of work pressure.''

Adiraj bent and kissed her nose,'you always knew how I feel about this topic.'

She smiled knowing that he had always wanted a house wife, someone totally dependent on him. Well, technically, she will never be that since she was a Singhania but this was close enough.

Suddenly, there was a loud sound as a  breaking news headline flashed on television.

Kiran,''ughh ... so flashy and down market. I hate the way they sensualise everything.''

Adiraj turned the tv off,'' rest and relax. Don't watch any news today.''

Kiran nodded and then, watched him leave. She closed her eyes and decided to take a short nap.

Across the nation, the news was spreading like wildfire. Raizada heir, Adiraj, was involved in a hotel project which had collapsed on the second day of opening. No causalities reported as yet.

5 minute later

Breaking news: search warrant has been issued to interrogate raizada heir.

1 hour later

Raizada heir in interrogation room

5 minute later

Breaking news: Raizada was working for singhania group.

10 minutes later

Breaking news: Another of recently completed hotel of Singhania group collapsed at the back. No one hurt as hotel was not yet open to general public.

5 minutes later

A third hotel in north has collapsed, it belonged to singhania group, the hotel was under construction, few workers are missing.

Few minute later

Raizada heir has been released and it seem that his answers has satisfied the authorites.

3 minutes later

We have managed to get hold of emails from raizada heir to the management of Singhania group, where he repeatedly asked for inquiry into raw material going as far as to say that he will personally pay for the material.

On each channel, specialist were sitting analysing the situation and as more in competencies of Singhania group came to light, one after another, the public mood swayed from anger toward the Raizada to the Singhania group.

The shares of Singhanaia group started to fall.
