Taehyung's Perspective

"Yujeong, Eunbi," I named off the first girl names that came to my mind, putting down each finger as she shook her head to each one I mentioned. Its been over 48 hours since I met this girl with knee highs and me learning about my father's insane plan. I still wasn't able to wrap my head around this, but I should have seen it coming sooner than later. I was in my own happy world, filled with future images and that of Ona, that I never seemed to remember my father's intentions. "I went through thousands of names. How can you not be one of them?" I asked her.

She looked over at me as she picked up a deformed, boring, grey rock and flipped it around in her hand as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. She turned to the murky, turquoise waters of the small pond before letting out a tiny grunt and skipping it across. The skip only lasted one bounce before creating a huge plop into the shallow depths.

"Even if it was, I wouldn't tell you," She huffed, a plume of white smoke exiting her lips. We decided to go to the vacant park that was next to the lonely restaurant, needing fresh air in order to figure out what to do. "I'm a mystery and I like it that way." She shrugged, bending over to collect more stones to throw as that became her favorite game for the past half hour.

"Obviously I can go to Yoongi Hyung and I will force him to tell me. I can't let you be a blank face after all of this." I shifted in my seat in the King Cherry tree with its branches bare of pink blossoms and the branches hanging low enough for me to actually make it to the ground without breaking anything. It was relaxing if you forgot about the patrol that was on my ass.

"Please," She snorted, rolling her eyes as she placed all of the small stones in her coat pocket. "Yoongi wouldn't cave to someone like you. We made a deal that I wouldn't tell his secrets if he didn't tell mine. It's how our system works and it's the way we met." She skipped another stone, this one not really much of a skip but more of a ski-plop.

"Which I am interested in hearing." I noted. I have been dying to hear the whole story, to see what brought these two interesting characters together. How Yoongi and I met was just over a few drinks at a party Namjoon decided to bring him to. It wasn't the greatest of introductions nor was it the least bit disappointing. It was...mildly interesting. But her and Yoongi? I feel like there is this deeper connection.

"Aren't we here to resolve your problems and not talk about my association with your friend?" She turned around to face me, twiddling a stone between her fingers. Her velvet skirt blew in the chilly breeze, her right knee high was lowering more once again, and her left coat pocket was starting to turn inside out. Her style was unpredictable and strange, basically just like her. But she was right, I couldn't involve myself in other people's relationships when I have a bounty on my head and a prison sentence that was tattooed to my forehead.

"My father is smart, maybe too smart than I would like to admit," I sighed, pulling off a twig from a nearby tree branch and pulling at my torn jean threads with the end. "It would take a militia to take him down."

"Well, I don't know anything about raising an army," She laughed, coming closer with her small pebbles and wicked smirk. "But I am smart too. Smart people think alike. They know the ins and outs of situations, the equations that make up most people's problems, and usually, if you are the right kind of smart," She hopped up on the branch across from me, crossing her legs. How did she not find this uncomfortable with the clothing she was wearing? "How to best your opponent."

I chuckled a bit, amused by her words and shaking my head. Whenever she spoke, everything sounded final or as if she had years of planning to create ways to get out of a situation. This whole thing was the biggest I have been a part of, not including the shop lifting I did when I was a pre-teen or when Hoseok and I played ding-dong-ditch when we were younger. This was more controversial and damaging to my life. I would want anything to rid me of this nightmare, to just go back to planning my future, that I wanted to spend with Ona. God, I missed her. It's been over 48 hours and my heart aches just to see her again. Not knowing how long this would take was killing me on the inside, tearing away at me like a tornado would to a house.

"You don't know my father." I sighed, tossing aside the stupid twig, resulting with the clammy, cold hands that were attached to me. What I wouldn't give for Ona's small ones to be threaded with mine, to feel her warmth.

"No, but I know his son," She smiled, tossing the stone she was holding at me, letting the rock hit the smooth trunk of the tree near my head. I barely winced as it toppled against my head. "It is an advantage, you have to admit."

"Just because you know me, doesn't mean I know his deepest, darkest secrets. I know he's in the drug cartel business, I know he has a man inside the police force that said good things about him so he would be on their good side, I know he cheated on my mom when I was born, I know he hates the Park family," Even saying that just hurt because Ona and Jimin were a part of that family as they were two of the most important people in my life. I just remembered how he always complained about their political stand points or how they ran their business. He always threatened to take them out and 'steal their riches'. He was, and still is, the worst person I can think of in my life. "I know he doesn't care much for me and that determination is his strong point."

"You must know his weaknesses. Anything that could drop his charges on you." She pushed me further and as I thought, hundreds of memories rushing through my mind to find something that could help, I felt the cogs in my brain begin to burn out and my mind painting a white canvas.

"He's a man without a crutch. He leans on no one and depends on no one. He had a mentor once, but who knows what happened to him. Probably had him assassinated right after he was given the job." I sighed, running a hand through my hair as memories flooded me over and over again of my childhood; only darkness and dim light was there. Nothing cheerful or deemed as positive. The only light, dimmed at the back of my mind, was the memories of Jimin, Ona, and me when we were children and I was able to run away from the true jail life gave me; my father's home.

"Yoongi told me he had a mentor, but that he wasn't dead," She told me. How does she or even Yoongi know about anyof this? The only person that truly knows about anything with my father is Jungkook and vaguely, Jimin. As I was about to question her, she raised her hand with a small smile on her face. "Don't ask. Remember, I said he's the ears of this relationship, so he must have heard it from somewhere. Maybe he can be the key in this."

"My father said he inherited the position," I sighed, looking out over to the rippling waves the brisk wind created in the pond, making the cattails on its edge also move slightly. "But that could just mean killing him or...--"

"Or had him pushed aside without holding a gun to his head." She finished, grinning almost as big as the Cheshire Cat, like a kid finding the golden, plastic egg during an Easter egg hunt.

"My father wouldn't be that tame." My father was someone that lived for business and no emotions attached. When he married my mom, it was arranged by their parents and my father saw it as a deal, a partnership that would prove useful for his legacy. Since they only had me, and I became a disappointment, his legacy was ruined and he doesn't allow that to be without consequence. There was no soft spot in his heart. He was cold, steel-hard, and stubborn. His mentor was in his way, the place at the top being his main concern. Whenever my father wanted something, he took it without hesitation.

"They say even the king of lions can be declawed. I feel like your father can be strong and overpowering, but sometimes there is that one thing that can make him weak. Everyone isn't indestructible, including him. Taehyung, you've just been blinded by his power of being your father. He's shown he isn't worthy of that title, which means, the lion isn't safe in his den and we are coming after him with back up."

Ona's Perspective

I rushed down the halls of the college classrooms, my breathing rasped and my legs feeling like jello as I haven't ran this hard since 8th grade cross country. Students watched me as I passed by them in a flash, trying to get to my destination before it was too late and I ran out of time. I just needed to be done with it and finally be free from the pain this has caused me for hours.

I skidded around the corner, almost coming into contact with a couple shamelessly making out as if they were the only two people in the world. Can't they find an empty classroom or just go home and do their business there? Sometimes I wish a meteor would just crash through and evaporate the PDA from the world, but then again, that means I would have to be removed from life as well. I shook my head away from those dark thoughts as I rushed down one more hall before seeing the place I needed to go.

I halted as I came to the right door, struggling to catch my breath as I grasped the handle and pushing it open to see my professor at her desk, picking up a variety of cooked vegetables from her bento box and studying an article that could make anyone get a nose bleed and headache.

She looked up as I accidentally kicked the trash bin near the door, cursing at myself for being the loudest person in the world. "Ms. Park," She coughed, setting down her chopstiks and turning her chair t face me. Her face was absolutely flawless, as if no wrinkles possessed her feautures, her eyes were small but were full of wisdom and caution. She was the professor most boys here fawned over; from her smile to the size of her breasts, I would say they all had some sort of dream when they drifted off in their classes. "You're early." She gave me a smile as she pointed at the clock on the wall.

I was 20 minutes early.

"Sorry. I just didn't want to be late," I bit my lip nervously as I sat across from her on a plastic chair that was already set up. "He would kill me." I laughed, but she didn't give back the same reaction, causing things to go down south for me mentally. Well, I was sure to be berated now by everyone.

"I understand. Your father is...intimidating, especially now that he invests in this school as well," A few weeks after I started at the Seoul Institute of Arts, my father began to invest in the school by providing enough money for new computers, musical instruments, new dance studios, and even a few recording booths for students who actually wanted to make their music. It was all good for everyone, but once students found out my father was the one to give them all of this, they won't leave me alone and try to get more out of my family. It was annoying. "But, I think these weekly evaluations he has you doing is good for your own skill improvements."

Along with my father giving to the school, he made sure all of my professors kept tabs on me and made sure I was excelling in everything. He never was for my artistic path, but he supported the best he could. If I wanted to do this, I better be very good at it.

For the next hour, the professor and I went over the tools I should use on my illustrator on the computer, my pros and cons, and what I should strive for. So much jumbled in my head once I exited the room, that I didn't even notice Jungkook leaning outside the door, scrolling through his phone, probably playing some game that was either too complicated or too weird for me.

"Noona!" Jungkook called and I jumped, turning to him as I clutched my heart from the almost heart attack.

"What are you doing here? You're not in college yet, which means you can't be here." I shuffled the bag that was on my shoulder as Jungkook linked his arm with mine, weaving through students, some girls even staring intently at his face, their eyes sparkling and faces blushing madly. I even caught a few looks of jealousy towards me as we were linked together. If only they knew. Once we got outside in the frigid air, he pulled us along towards the exit of the campus and me struggling to pull my black jacket closer around me to stop the cold from getting close to my skin.

"Ona, Yoongi's contact messaged him saying that Taehyung and them figured out a plan," He smiled, bunny teeth all out and his eyes showing off a cute eye-smile that would make those girls back in the hall faint to the floor. "They had me come get you before I heard the rest."

Taehyung, his name was enough to make me wobble in the knees and just yearn more for him to be near me. Two days. Two days of his absence and it was like a never-ending torture that was cast upon my life. I didn't hear from him since the night of it all because we couldn't risk anything. Apparently, Yoongi's so-called "untraceable" phone was being tapped into (Yoongi said so, so we believed him) and we couldn't do much. How he got a message from his friend was beyond my expertise.

All I knew was...I missed Taehyung beyond belief. I needed him with me to make me smile, laugh, and even blush for God's sake. I never realized how much I craved his teasing and even his dirty comments until he was gone. I even missed his back hugs that would make me squirm because it was too close or when he kissed from my jaw to my lips in the cutest way possible, causing butterflies to tickle my insides. It was all of the mushy crap I missed and more. How long would this take and when would I see him again? Can my life just be one huge drama people watch on the television as that is what it feels like? Might as well make it official.

"Did she say the plan?" I asked him as we rounded around to a street that had cars bustling down the road, almost in a Crazy Taxi sort of fashion. I never really liked Seoul's city life, but living here for my whole life, I should be used to it now.

"She didn't want to give too much away, just in case," There was that term again; 'just in case'. I feel like that's been our living motto for the past two days and we had to walk on eggshells in order to not alert anyone. So far, no police have come to us which makes half of us happy and half worried. I was on the worried side. They should have questioned us about his whereabouts by now since Mr. Kim knew about our friendship with him. 'But, it could tear him down."

"I miss him." I felt like I said that too much, but I couldn't stop feeling that way. It was hard not expressing feelings like this. It was more painful than leaving your hand over an open flame, more heart breaking than when the protagonist dies on your favorite show, and more unpredictable than a storm.

"I know, Noona," Jungkook wrapped an arm around my shoulders, pulling me to his side and squeezing me into a side hug. "He misses you too, of course. Which means," He looked over to me and smiled. "He will do whatever it takes to come back and see you."

I couldn't help but sadly chuckle at his romantic answer as it wasn't like him in anyway. He tended to become shy when hearing things like that or want to throw up from the littlest of PDA.

"It's Taehyung's job to be cheesy, and yours to smack him when he does." I reminded him causing a fit of giggles to leave him. These past days, Jungkook has been the one to keep me calm and happy as he would distract me with a quick game of my choosing or even drawing with me on Jin's bed, trying to tease me on the smallest of mistakes or compliment me on most of my doodles. Everyone else has been a big help, Jin and Jimin the most with Jungkook and I appreciated it all.

"Well, have to make up for that lost time," He shrugged, pulling up the cotton hood that attached to his leather jacket. He sighed, letting out tendrils of white breath that could make him seem like a mystical dragon by how thick it was. "I also have more news for you, but there is bad and good. It depends on if you want to hear both or one of them." He looked at me from the corner of his eye.

Not sure how to respond, I copy his footfalls in the same rhythm as we moved closer to the building that held the rest of our friends. I didn't know what he was implying or what else was going on that could be worse or just as bad. There was good news which means there was at least one positive thing I could feed on, but there was another bad pile of news I was in need of knowing. What to do?

"What would you prefer to hear first?" I asked him. I stepped over a puddle of what did not look like your typical water as we neared the building. Jungkook pulled on my arm to have me move away from it and he bit his lip as he thought through what he should say. I hated not knowing what was going on, especially if I was either involved or someone I knew was.

"The good news so that you wouldn't go head first into something bad. I feel like you should go into bad news slowly and have at least some positivity before you do." He told me. We finally reached the building, but we didn't move up the steps as he wanted to just get it over with and tell me here. I could tell he was trying to process the right words to say. His dark brown eyes looked around him with uncertainty, his bottom lip pulled under his front teeth, and his hands wringing together.

"Then, the good news first." I nodded, playing with the strap of my book bag.

"Well, besides knowing Taehyung and Yoongi's friend having a plan, Jimin was able to convince Jackson, an officer at the station, and two others to try and persuade everyone to call off the search for Taehyung," He let out a breathe along with me, a weight feeling lessened on my shoulders. That was some good news that I needed at the moment. Knowing that there were some decent people in the world was all I could ask for and to help Taehyung, that's what I wanted. "He went to school with him apparently, so he was able to get through to him. Obviously, it will take a lot of convincing as Taehyung's father did give them compelling evidence." He said.

"Was that the bad news then?" I knew it wouldn't be easy as Mr. Kim would most likely have back up to make his case.

"I wish," He chuckled a bit, but it was poorly made as it didn't sound at all happy. "The bad news is a little add-on besides prison for Taehyung," He sighed as he fixed his hair under his hoodie. I could tell he didn't like it at all and I gulped, awaiting the words that would fall from his mouth. "From what Yoongi heard, if Taehyung gets caught, not only will he serve prison time, after all of the evidence Mr. Kim gave, Taehyung will be banned from South Korea and sent to a place far from here."

Hi! I actually am surprised I found the time to write a chapter! Well, it is 4:00 am, so I guess thats the best time as any. But, my hands and wrists hurt so bad from writing this. I see this chapter as more of a filler but it does leave off on new information and somewhat of a cliffhanger?? I'm not sure. But school and work has been slaying my ass these few days. I also have family over as my mom is about to have her baby today, so I will be super busy for a while! I am also going to comic con next week, so I can't post or anything.

But thank you for being patient and amazing! I feel like this chapter was super boring, so I apologize, but next chapter will be good and I promise, more eventful! I just wanted to get a chapter out to you at least! I will be updating the Jimin story this week hopefully, so look forward to that!

Have a beautiful day and I love you guys!
