"W-what?" Jungkook whips his head around to face her. His heartbeat is rising rapidly and his eyes go wide again, hoping, praying, wishing, that she will say something to break this wall between them.

Y/N's eyes widen. She can't believe she just did this. Stop him from leaving in terms of telling him something when...she has nothing to say. In reality, she has a lot of things to say but she tumbles over insecurity over and over again; she's too embarrassed to say the words she's been wanting to say for years and mostly this past one. This is her perfect chance to tell him everything with no one interrupting, where she will have his utter focus, with no worries of other fans pushing her to the side to get to him. And maybe...just...just maybe he won't forget her after a bit. She should do this. It's a perfect moment. Yes, right here. Here and Now.

"Th-there's something I'd like to tell you," she stammers while looking up at him with eyes of hope that are just begging him not to turn his back away and leave her there to live with this embarrassing moment for the rest of her life.

To those words, Jungkook feels like his legs got chopped off and he's barely floating in the air by some type of magic force that defies gravity. A strange mass forms in his throat that make him question whether he can speak or not. His mind turns blank but it's only because too many thoughts are keeping it captive with a speed that he can not keep up with. So it feels like he just stopped working. Could this be it? Could his fears from just a few seconds ago be proven wrong and she knows? Does she know that he's her soulmate and is willing to fight for him? Why does she look so hesitant though?

Jungkook looks deep into her eyes and he sees how desperate she is for him to give her the pass to talk and interact with him. It is definite that she would never willingly show her desperation to anyone but he can see it. He...he can just see everything in her eyes. He can almost feel her genuine emotions by just looking into those beautiful orbs that he so desperately has wanted to look into for seven years now.

A heavy feeling burdens down his chest when he figures that she does not feel confident talking to him when in reality he is hopeless for some real-life interaction with her. And then he realizes, he hasn't said a single word. Of course, she's going to lose confidence if he only stares at her with wide eyes as if he is in a state of panic. He knows she is insecure and social interaction isn't her strongest muscle. So he must do everything in his hand to keep the conversation as alive as possible.

If only he was not a nervous wreck he would succeed in this, but he is. And he isn't known for being the most confident guy either. In some cases, he may be, but right now, in front of his soulmate, it's impossible.

"Yes, of course," he flashes her a nervous smile after finally getting his brain to start working.

Please, please, please, please talk to me.

Until Jungkook positively responded to the girl it seemed as if fifty hands belonging to professional wrestlers were wrapped around her throat and slowly suffocating her with no mercy.

I didn't think talking to your idol would be so hard.

She gulps when she realizes that it's her turn to start explaining what reason she stopped him for. Empty and nonlogical words fly in her mind, all trying to form a proper sentence to tell him, in relation to the subject. Yet, everything that is suggested by her brain is complete and utter nonsense.

Why does he have the freaking ability to melt my brain like that?

She furrows her eyebrows, avoiding his eyes, while she feels her embarrassment taking over the driver's seat and throwing her logic off of the car while driving in the freeway with very high speed. Death. That's what has met her logic.

Jungkook figures out what's going on and surprisingly he grows a little confidence and belief in himself to make the start for her and give her a stepping stone.

"Do you...happen to be an A.R.M.Y.?" he asks right when Y/N is about to give up and apologize to him before leaving.Y/N raises her eyes to look into his soft ones, his head is cocked a tiny bit to the side and a small, caring and a warm smile is softly sitting on his lips. It almost makes her feel comfortable.

If only she was a little bit more immune to that smile she may have been able to resurrect her logic. Nonetheless, she needs to give him an answer.

"Ah...," she flashes him an embarrassed smile while looking down at the floor not being able to focus on his eyes, or face in general, "Am I that obvious? I'm sorry, I hope I'm not making you feel uncomfortable."

"I could never feel uncomfortable by a humble A.R.M.Y. like you," the smile on his face grows when he sees the hint of a blush appear on her cheeks while she purses her lips in attempts of keeping her smile from showing. A strong pang is felt on Jungkook's chest and his knees nearly give out on him.

Just let me hug you already- He begs, but such a thing is impossible.

There's a lot of ice to break first. But it appears that while trying to break it, he's adding more in between them; By uncovering the fact that she is an A.R.M.Y. it's as if he restricted the conversation solemnly on idol-fan grounds. Confronting him as his soulmate, from her side, would look more convincing if he didn't know she is his fan, he thinks.

Ah, Jungkook, you keep messing up.

"So what did you want to tell me?" he asks, trying to get her to say the words he wants her to. Beseeching in his mind that she hasn't changed her mind he adds, "Don't worry, you can tell me literally anything."

And then Y/N freezes again. But somehow his words help her control herself and this time form proper sentences, she's not going to let this chance go.

"Well...," she begins, interlacing her fingers while pausing for a moment to gather her thoughts.

In the meantime, Jungkook's breath gets caught in his throat feeling like this is the moment he's been waiting for. It's as if his lungs magically stopped working when they were fine the fifth of a second ago, but he's not letting it show.

"I'd like to thank you...again, but for a completely different reason," she explains while fumbling with her fingers.

Suddenly Jungkook feels as if his whole world is going to fall apart. This doesn't look like it's going where he was hoping it would. Thank him? Thank him for what? Being her soulmate? That doesn't make sense. She doesn't have anything to be thankful for, yet.

His eyebrows furrow in confusion and he shows his trouble which has Y/N thinking that she's being annoying towards him but it doesn't stop her. She came this far, she might as well go all the way.

"You probably hear this quite a lot and I'm probably just another fan being added to that pile," she explains, desperately avoiding eye contact with him, because if she looks deep into his eyes and sees that she'll see a dead and boring feel in them, as she fears, she'll cower out,

"But...until a year ago...I had serious difficulty with...expressing my emotions."

Jungkook perks up to the sound of this. Does she probably wanna refer to the time they got their link back together again? Could this talk probably end up to her confessing as his soulmate? He stays silent and lets her talk.

"However, the time you uploaded the cover of Ending Scene," she chuckles, "Which is funny because it was exactly one year ago, it was a turning point for me. Somehow, you managed to pull me out of...whatever I was in- And not only then, most of the time you manage to do that--which is pretty scary sometimes I must admit--" by this point, her eyes are stinging and she's keeping her voice straight and stable with huge difficulty.

"So I ju-just wanted to say thank you, for being there for me and helping me so much," she sniffles and the tears are already sliding down her cheeks, "I don't know how I could ever return to you all the good you've done for me as a simple fan--" her voice breaks and she clasps her palm on her mouth in shock.

She wasn't supposed to get this emotional. But supposed to or not, she did. She feels like she's embarrassing herself in front of the most important person to her. It feels as if she's ruining the chance of a lifetime that very few people get to experience. When else is she going to have the chance of running up to him, have the leisure of time and be mentally prepared for it?

Fuck timing, fuck my lack of self-control. Fuck everything-

She curses in her mind while her eyes are wide open, her vision gets blurrier by the second and she's looking at Jungkook who seems to have lost it. He's shocked.

I shouldn't have done this. He's uncomfortable and I'm making my self look bad.

There's still silence between them. She closes her eyes and the thick tears fall. They make a stream down her cheeks until they meet her fingers and palm. And the tear-droplets mixed with her mascara lose their beautiful shape.

"I'm so sorry," she breathes and her words come out a bit muffled because of her hand but she removes it to speak clearer, "Forget this ever happened please," she begs and turns around to head back to her seat but finally Jungkook snaps out of the trail he was in and he grabs her forearm. Rather forcefully one might add, but he did not intend to hurt her. He just can't let her walk out on him. He can't. And he's not going to. No matter what. Whether she knows or not, whether she wants him in her life or not, he won't let her walk out so easily. He's going to hold on to her as strongly as possible and make her accept him.

To the grasp from Jungkook Y/N turns around and looks at him confused. He doesn't give her a lot of time to process what happened because he pulls her in. He hugs her. With no second thought. Acting on his instincts, he just wraps his arms around her and engulfs her into his chest.

He guides her head into the crook of his neck and he begs the heavens that she can't hear or feel his heartbeat because it is insane, "It's okay to cry. You most of all deserve to cry," he whispers while turning his head to bring his lips just above her ear, "And you don't have to return anything to me. You've already done more than enough." He says it and he means it.

If they were to keep count of who owes what, Jungkook believes he probably owes her an entire lifetime. When in reality she owes him nothing and he owes her nothing. They've both done so much, consciously or not. They have been taking care of each other for a long time. Keeping count shouldn't matter. Yet...technically they do owe something each other; the one's active presence in the other's life.

The moment she started talking about giving back he felt his heart clench and when he heard her voice break while his eyes witnessed her own watering up his stomach churned unpleasantly. He doesn't enjoy seeing her sad but he understands the value it holds to be able to express herself with no matter.

But he probably reached his peak when she turned around to leave. He felt as if his soul was about to leave his body. That's what losing her would do to him. And the irony is they just met, physically.

"But, please don't ever turn around to leave like that," he feels his own eyes starting to sting. His lips quiver while a shaky sigh escapes his mouth that's right next to her hear. The thought of her leaving him gives him a hell-sent feeling. He closes his eyes shut and his own tears place their trace on his cheeks.

It has been such an emotionally distressing time for him, he's not sure how he's made it so far. But it all proves to be worth it; the wait, the stress, the sleepless nights, the anxiety, the anger. They were worth it and everything washes away the moment he hears her small and muffled sniff while he feels her arms snake around his waist to hug him back. He heaves a sigh of relief that can be misinterpreted to a sob in response to her actions because instead of pushing him away, she's accepting him and everything he has to give to her. Or so he thinks.

Y/N's mindstate right now is beyond messed up. There are all sorts of emotions going through her and she's not sure if she can understand them or control them. For a split moment, she even misses the time where she could feel nothing, but that thought was discarded as soon as it came. It's too wrong to miss that.

The words he told her barely got registered in her mind. The first part she definitely didn't hear coherently but his murmur next to her ear helped her keep her breathing stable and slowly calm down. The tears stop but the feeling of her heart being in pain only strengthens. Is it really that emotional to meet your bias? How in the world do those girls survive... She questions recalling all those videos meet and greets she's spent hours upon hours watching, wishing that one day she'd be able to attend.

Well, they don't really get hugged by their biases...

Her subconscious throws at her and her eyes go wide since she realizes; Jeon Jungkook is hugging her rather tight and she just begged her to not leave like that...ever? It's not like she'll have another chance to leave him. They'll never meet again after this flight so what's the point in saying those words? She doesn't find an immediate answer to that question so she discards it out of her mind, for now. And right when she believes she's gotten her mind out of the frenzy more thoughts attack her;

Does he always hug his fans like that?

A couple of sniffs reach her ears and her eyes widen in realization. She makes the connection with the weird sound he let out a few seconds earlier that sounded awfully close to a sob. As much as she doesn't want to let go of the warmth and comfort that his embracing body is giving her, she brings her palms to his chest and pushes against it but the opposite of what she expected happens. Instead of pulling away Jungkook's hands only wrap tighter around her and his head lowers and she feels him stuff his face in the crook of her neck as she hears a chocked, "No," from him.

What in the world got him so emotional, all of a sudden?

She wonders as she accepts his request and returns her hands to their rightful position; tightly wrapped around him. She stays like that for a few moments, she rests her chin on his shoulder and she takes in the smell of his fabric softener. It's as if flowers bloomed from within her. He's soft. Everything about him is just soft and delicate, she wishes she could have more of him in her life. But she can't. He's an idol and she's an overinvested fan. The odds can't be in her favor.

And the soft dreamy feeling fades again. She makes the connection that she's doing what she has daydreamed of for countless times and her breath hitches in her throat. This isn't right. It shouldn't be happening, why is it happening? Is the universe really that mean towards her? She can't allow herself to build hopes of staying in his life, it's only going to make hurt more when he's away. But she can't help herself and ask,

"Are you okay?" she asks him, purposefully avoiding his name, with the softest voice possible but without the intention of it sounding like that. Her voice doesn't seem hostile or that she minds the kinship between them. To him it sounds as genuine concern from a soulmate to a soulmate, as he knows that they are...but apparently...she may not have made this connection. Which is what makes his stomach get tied in a Gordian knot.

He gulps the lump that's formed in his throat down with difficulty before he loosens his grip around her and pushes back a little bit. His hands are now sitting on her shoulders and her own are sitting on the sides of his waist. She's not really sure if she should have them there, but she thinks to make any other movement would make it awkward so she keeps them there.

"I'm feeling all sorts of things right now," he lowers his head to restrain her vision on his face.

"Did something happen?" she asks tilting her head a little bit to get a better look of him but the bucket hat isn't helping, "Sh-should I call someone from th-the boys?" she points towards the area where the rest of the group and Mathew are.

She really doesn't know...

"You don't know, do you?" he tilts his head upward a little bit and now she can see; she can see the tear stained cheeks and the watered up eyes that look at her with such a hurtful mix of emotion in them; pain and relief, happiness and sadness, the look of one who's won a battle but fears of the war.

"Know...what exactly?" she's confused and it shows through her facial expression.

She's not faking it...

Seven years and she really didn't realize that I'm her soulmate...

Jungkook is a little bit disappointed but at the same time relieved. He's disappointed because well...she doesn't know. She doesn't know that Ending Scene was meant for her, all the supportive messages were for her, the foolishness in his vlive's where for her. She only received them just like everyother fan, but nothing went to waste. Everything he put out there, she always saw and smiled or cried at. He still helped her a lot but fear settles within him. She only sees him as an idol- what if she refuses to develop their relationship because of that barrier?

In any case scenario, he has to convince her. And he will- he's determined.

"What's your name?" he wipes his fingers under his eyes to take away any remaining moisture and fix his image a little bit.

"Um...," Y/N looks at him confused as she doesn't understand where this conversation is going but she decides to just go with it, what's the harm anyway? "Y/N Y/L/N"

Y/N Y/L/N...Jungkook repeats in his mind while a smile reaches his face; It suits her perfectly

"Well, Y/N," he reaches down to take her hands in his and hold on to it strongly, "We have a lot of things to talk about."

"What do you mean?" she looks up at him quizzically.

"I just need you to trust me for a little bit," he says with sincerity in his voice.

Trust him? Whenever a stranger asks you that it's almost never good. But then again Jungkook isn't a stranger, is he? By definition, he is a stranger. She's never met him before in her life and she doesn't know him personally. She doesn't know the real Jeon Jungkook, she knows the one he sells for the media. People who get promoted by the media always make themselves appear to be heaven-sent angels, would never harm anyone and always helpful. The perfect people we all try to become through I'art pour I'art. Promote the aesthetic beauty and reach the peak of perfection. Yet the terror behind those people and their facade...it always follows them. Not one has managed to escape the dark life of fame, so she wonders...Could Jungkook be a part of that dark life?

The fear is evident in her eyes and Jungkook notices and he becomes concerned. Why in the world would she look scared?

"Please?" he begs of her and it's evident in her eyes how desperate and genuine he is. He has something very important to say, she can feel it. All the fears wash away from her mind, she scolds herself for ever thinking so bad of Jungkook, but she couldn't help it. No one could help it, it's in human nature to have doubt of things and situations.

"Okay," she nods her head and a humble smile breaks on Jungkook's face as he sighs in relief thanking her for giving him a chance. She still is very confused; What in the world could he want to tell her so important? He only met her a few minutes ago for God's sake.

"Excuse me...," a female voice rings in their ears and the two turn to look at the source; a flight attendant, "You're not supposed to be here for so long. Please return to your seats."

"Can I ask you a question?" Jungkook's exclaims rather eager to receive information from the woman who responds to him positively, "Is there any other place on the plane that's empty? We kind of need to have a private talk..."

He trails off in the end with an awkward and sheepish feel to his words, it almost has Y/N question his intentions again but she convinces herself to think the best of everyone until proven wrong. And even if he tries anything malicious, it's not like she can't fend herself. She knows her martial arts. But then again this is muscle pig Jeon Jungkook that's on the table of discussion. No- no! She won't think of such scenarios, she has no reason to!

"Yes, actually there is a room, it's designed for couples with a double-bed but I'm afraid you'll have to pay to get access to it," the woman informs with a very kind and gorgeous smile to help the recipients gulp down the information of having to pay, as she has been trained to do.

Jungkook raises his hand and a black visa card is held between his index and middle finger, "Charge it for the entire flight and show us the way please."

He was so quick with his decision the flight-attendant had a bit of a hard time grasping it but once she shook her head a bit and blinked her eyes, she bowed-not taking the card from him- and led the way. Jungkook awkwardly stared at the card that was still between his fingers but shook everything away as he softly wrapped his hand around Y/N's wrist and took her with him while following after the stewardess.

The weird thoughts still circled around Y/N's mind as she can't help but wonder what it is that has stroked Jungkook's interest in her so much that he pays for a separate room and the most expensive of Air Companies and for the entire flight.

You're a weird guy, Kook, but for some reason, I can blindly trust you.

While they walk through the compartment all the members and Mathew are, Y/N catches her best friend's eye who apparently has managed to start a conversation with SeokJin. They started sharing dad-jokes with each other and Yoongi even threw them his phone case in protest to shut them up. Their reaction was to make another pun with the word 'phone case'. However, Jungkook holding Y/N's wrist and dragging her behind didn't go unnoticed by anyone. When Mathew saw his jaw dropped to the floor, Yoongi didn't notice because he had his curtains closed and he is trying to sleep, the rest who noticed cheered for Jungkook. Taehyung even whistled, which made Y/N feel uncomfortable but she smiled when she saw NamJoon slap Taehyung's wrist in retaliation.

NamJoon looks at the girl and he gives her a supportive smile with a small nod. It seems as if he is encouraging her to go with Jungkook in that room like he knows what the matter is. NamJoon's feels like a guarantee, that she won't regret going in there. Yet, only time will tell; if she regrets or not. Who will hurt and who will not, who will laugh and so on...

She doesn't even realize when they enter the rather spacious room with the large bed and how Jungkook pays for the room and the flight attendant leaves with a smirk on her face and a wink towards Y/N. The decoration and the general theme of the room seem to follow beige and soft brown colors, a calming room, really. It helps Y/N forget of the dirty innuendo from the stewardess and take away the blush from her face.

"Ahem...," Jungkook softly clears his throat to get attention as she's been staring outside the window for a few moments now. It makes him uneasy to see that she's hesitating to approach him, but he can't blame her. She doesn't know.

Y/N turns around and she catches Jungkook's sight as he takes off his black bucket hat and finally shows his brown and messy hair that seem to curl up in a few spots. It has saliva gather in Y/N's mouth. She didn't think that her weakness for him would be able to take over her when meeting him in real life.

Just don't make a fool of yourself, please. She begs herself while Jungkook sighs and plops on the bed with a heavy sigh. He covers his face with his hands while he takes a deep breath and as he exhales one hand goes up to brush his hair and at the same time pull them back and expose his forehead while the other drops to his lap.

How do I go about this? Do I just tell her and watch her freak out?

Is she even gonna freak out?

And then he physically freezes, What if she's disappointed? But thankfully his remaining logic kicks in and saves him from the extra worry; She's flying all the way to Japan just to see me, there's no way she'll be disappointed, she's a fan. No, no, don't think of such, Jungkook.

Just go for it and build on from there.

"Is everything okay?" her voice brings him out of his internal dialogue once again and his eyes focus again and this time he can see her clearly under good light. He leaves a dreamy sigh as the corners of his mouth curl up a little bit, She's beautiful.

"Please have a seat," he pats the space next to him on the bed and purses his lips as he looks at her.

With no second thought, she's sitting exactly at where his hand was seconds ago, a bit too close for her liking but she can't bring herself to move now.

"There's no easy way to say this really...," he says avoiding her eyes as this isn't a joke for him. It has a serious effect on his life and it's eating him out from within to have to endure it. It will cost his mental health a lot if this doesn't go well.

"It feels like your breaking up with me," Y/N blurts out, without filtering her words at all and right after she snickers at her foolishness and Jungkook smiles while he tilts his head to the side and running his hand up and down his thigh,

"I want to do the exact opposite, to be honest," he admits and he takes his eyes away from her, feeling shy and more fearful of her reaction.

Not having understood what he means, or better yet, not wanting to believe what she has understood is what he means, she asks, "I'm sorry, what?"

Jungkook purses his lips, convincing himself once again that being straightforward is the only way to do it he blurts out, "You and I...," he trails off having difficulty with his confidence.

You and I what? Y/N wonders feeling her own stomach starting to twist in uncomfortable ways. She looks at him with an expectant expression and she notices that Jungkook is having a hard speaking his thoughts so to help him out she extends her arm and takes his hand in his, squeezing it a little bit. Jungkook looks from her hand to her face and she sees a kind smile. She herself isn't sure where she grew the confidence for this but Jungkook definitely is glad for it.

"You and I are meant to be together," He blurts out, his eyes seem to have locked with her and now he can't look away from them. He sees confusion in her eyes so he decides he should explain further, "Soulmates. We're soulmates."

And now no emotion is written on her face. No sadness, no happiness, no relief, no frustration, nothing. Absolutely nothing and it scares him to no end.

"Are you joking?" she asks with a serious tone in her voice and suddenly Jungkook gets drowned in panic. In all the scenarios he thought of and prepared for...non of them included her not believing him, which is the worst of all.

"No, absolutely not," he shakes his head negatively and he turns his hand that being held by hers, to keep her from taking it away, "This isn't a matter to be joked about," his eyes sting. Again. And it's not a sting brought by happy tears. This hurts. And he has a feeling it's going to hurt more.

"You can't be serious, this is clearly a joke-," she responds with a shaky breath and a lump forming in her throat. Everything adds up. Her and Mathew winning that prize, being moved to the same compartment with BTS only to find out that they have to leave but to have Jeon Jungkook let them stay. Only after for her to talk to him and then him luring her into this room to play this sick prank. BigHit that's very low of you, she thinks with spite. She almost believed something good would come out of this, but no. It's impossible.

"Y/N, it's not a joke, please believe me," her name coming out of his lips in that pleading voice really makes her feel all sorts of things. The fangirl within her is going through a frenzy, reaching the epitome of fangirling. Whereas the logical, the civilian side of her is trying to keep a leash of all that, of all the crazy. Of all the daydreams that suddenly have decided to come to life. Moments of fanfictions she's read about him that is awfully close to this moment right now, flash through her mind and she knows it's wrong. It's too much to be in this situation.

But she wants to believe him so badly. Every ounce of her soul, every cell in her body just wants him to hug her and never let go. She wants it to be true but how would it work? Simple; it wouldn't.

Tears she did not intent on letting go start staining her face again, she can't help it. She's emotional and the only person who's ever managed to make her express her emotion is sitting in front of her, he too with tears in his eyes. No matter how much she may want to keep it in, she can't. He's like that, the exception to every rule she may set for herself.

To the sight of her face, Jungkook sighs and takes her in to hug her. She doesn't protest she really needs the hug.

"I'm absolutely serious," he says right next to her ear, loud and clear for her to understand every single word he'll say, "You've been an A.R.M.Y. for seven years now. You found us through a friend of yours and the first thing you said about me was that I was cute and you were surprised when you found out my age. You've bought every single album we've put out there and you support us with all your heart even though you've not active on social media. You just like to lurk around and see other's posts," he takes a break so he can catch his breath for a moment, he's not sure why he's suddenly spewing all that information about her and her fan-life but that's what his gut tells him to do and he does it,

"For seven years now I've been getting visions of you while you experience intense emotions. Happy, sad, angry...mostly it was during times where you watched our performances or something relating to me and you'd curse my name for making you feel things" he chuckles at the memories while he puts his hand on the back of her head and stuff his face in her hair to get a whiff of her shampoo and he continues bitterly,

"But then I lost you for three years and I really had a tough time. Getting visions of you so frequently really grew on me and you helped me go through many things. So when I lost you I tried so freaking hard to restore our connection... by posting things and covers anything," he stops and pulls away so he can look at her face while he tells her those next words,

"Ending Scene was my last hope of restoring my connection with you," he cups both her cheeks with his palms and he looks at her with watery eyes, "I nearly gave up after I posted that cover but right after I gave up I s-saw you," his voice breaks to the thought of the memory, "You where in your room, only in your underwear and your hair was wet, like you'd come home from a rainy day, you were listening to the cover and crying your eyes out. I was so ecstatic to have been able to see you again you've no idea. I kept getting visions of you until last month. You were saying that you'd be coming to our concert and you were excited. I've been a stressed mess since then because I didn't know how I was going to meet you and the visions weren't there to help anymore and I'm just-"

He doesn't have anything else to say. Well, he does. He wants to beg her to believe him, to stay with him, to not reject him and call him crazy as he appears to be, but he remains silent. He doesn't have enough energy in himself to go further.

"H-how in the world do you know all that?" she whispers with an obvious tremble in her voice having more trouble than ever to comprehend what is going on. What he just told her...all that is information that only she and herself know...there's no way someone could have unveiled such information to him. But again, this just can't be. And why? Solemnly because she doesn't think she deserves such a person like Jungkook to care for her, be what a soulmate is meant to be. Her own denial is blocking her from the truth.

"Still we can't be soulmates...," She sighs speaking her thoughts and Jungkook's heart breaks into pieces to the sound of those words, "I'm an over-invested fan you're the idol, this isn't meant to work," she looks at Jungkook, she looks broken, much like himself,

"I already have built a personality for you in my head that may not adapt to who you are in real life. You don't understand how much you mean you me and to find out you're not who I believe you are, it's going to break me."

Jungkook is left looking at her with his mouth open agape. He can't believe the words that just left her mouth. Is she serious? He wonders while the tears dry out and slowly the unfair gets a good grip on his throat and starts choking him.

"You think you're the only one that's putting things at stake here?" His gaze has turned serious and of a man who's not going to back out until he gets what he wants. In this case; her.

"You think I haven't formed a personality to the image of you? You think I'm not scared about how we're going to work out when we live in different hemispheres of the earth and I've such a demanding job I barely get time for self?"

His words hit her heart like a dagger, without mercy. He's right. She isn't the only one that's going to risk things for this.

"Even right now I'm going against my manager's words but you don't see me complaining about it," his gaze on her is judgemental and suddenly she feels small. Like the arguments she presented were small and unimportant, when they're not, this could cause a problem in the future but it shouldn't be enough to break them, to stop them from trying.

"I've thought about all of that but I've no fear towards them, especially about us having the wrong image of each other," he gulps down with difficulty, speaking is becoming even harder for him as he goes on. He takes in a sharp breath, he closes his eyes for a moment bracing himself and gathering energy for his next words,

"Because you're my soulmate," he whispers as he opens his eyes and meets her own that already have tears of guilt streaming down, "And we'll be able to overcome whatever is thrown at us because we're the perfect fit for each other,"

"So I beg of you," he starts heaving lightly, the thought of her rejecting him again after this speech is giving him difficulty in breathing, "If you don't have faith in yourself or me have at least faith in that we're soulmates."

That's it. That's all he can go without breaking down. But it's more than enough to have her realize. Those events that she thought were coincidences, they weren't really. He was doing them for her. All these times she was creeped out to his perfect timing, it wasn't pointless. She had every right to feel so because he knew. He knew that was what she needed and he gave it to her with no second thought. And up till now, she wondered, if he was getting flashes of her during random times of her day where she experienced emotions why didn't she get similar ones of him?

And that's when it clicks. She has the habit of thinking about him in several scenarios if his life. In situations that she thought he would experience in his life as who he is. Those scenarios would come to her at random points in her day. In some, he'd either be crying alone, or laughing in front of his computer while chatting with fans on the FanCafe, or giggling with his bandmates, or even being frustrated about work or a game that's not loading due to the Internet connection. It's funny really, so long she thought it was just her mind being overly creative with all the books she's read. Yet she'd never realized that she only ever pictured Jungkook in such moments.

And she realizes those weren't creativity sparks of her mind. Those were actual moments of his life that she was witnessing.

This is all too scary and feels so surreal. But this reality. This is her and his reality. They are soulmates and that is how it's meant to be. Her denial can't hide that fact. Her attempts to running away can't change it. No matter what that's what they are to each other. It may be painful, it may ache at times but they'll make it. And she believes it now.

And if they don't make it, she owes it to him to try. He's been so supportive of her, always done everything in his power to help her out and he didn't even know her. She was just a girl from a vision. She feels so bad for not having realized sooner. It's true the thought had crossed her many times, even her friends insisted, but the fear of being wrong put her in denial. But as always, he saved her from it.

"I'm so sorry," her voice sounds and right after an involuntary sob escapes her. She extends her arms to take his hands in hers and he sniffs while he looks at her with sad and exhausted eyes. He's really desperate, "I believe you... We're soulmates I believe it."

Jungkook's lips visibly quiver and the tension in his body only builds up as he waits for her next words. Intense pain shoots through his head but he stays unmoved, too captivated by her to pay attention to anything else.

"You're right, we should be able to work through anything. Or heck we should at least try," she smiles through the tears and Jungkook bites his lips to keep his sobs inside.

"So you're not g-going to leave me?" He stammers through the words, getting choked up in his tears quite a few times but still keeping up because he's desperate for reassurance.

"Not even if you hold me at gunpoint," she promises and she knows. This is a promise she is going to keep.

Jungkook can't help himself anymore and he attacks her with a hug forcing her to lie on the bed while he likes half-atop her. He's still crying but the tears of sorrow have morphed into tears of relief and maybe happiness. In response, a small giggle leaves her mouth and she wraps her arms around him and takes in his flowery scent.

It's still surreal, she's still scared and has her doubts, exactly just like Jungkook is. But nothing beats the feeling of having each other into their arms and sensing their scent. They're willing to go through hell to stay by each other's sides and they will do just that.

Be together.

The end.
