One Year Later.

One year, three-hundred-and-sixty-something days have passed since the groundbreaking day for the two of them. For her because she finally managed to break the wall between herself and her emotions and for him because he brought back his link with her.

Every day from then he has been getting visions of her either smiling or being angry, calm, any possible emotion really. It has been one of his best years and he couldn't be happier. He's watched her pull away from her void and each time it looked like she was struggling to continue he made sure to post something she would see and would motivate her to continue and he succeeded in that, sooner or later.

She herself without knowing had helped him overcome the loneliness he sometimes felt, she gave him strength when he felt too weak to continue, she motivated him to get up earlier some mornings and practice that one verse longer so as to nail it. She became the one who turned on the light in his dark times and she showed that it can get better.

She has been such an important person in his life yet she is completely clueless about it. All these coincidences, him sharing with the world exactly what she needed the specific moment she needed it. It had happened one too many times to be considered a coincidence.  The thought of them being soulmates has crossed her mind countless times, even more intensely after her best friend, Mathew, started catching up on the phenomena and insisted that they indeed have a special connection.

She always considered it-and still does- absolute nonsense, there is no possible way that she could be soulmates with him

It's absurd. And besides, how could it work? She is a hardcore fan of him and his group, in her mind she has an idea, like a fictional character, of him that could be completely different from reality. The realization and acception of that could cause problems into a relationship and more importantly her. She has leaned onto the idea of him so much that figuring out he's not how she knows him to be could be devastating.

I'll meet him once, for a few minutes, thank him and then it's over. She thinks while she plops down on the airplane seat of economy class, by the window.

"I can't believe we're actually doing it," Mathew's voice sounds from next to her as he sits down and claps his hands excitedly.

The pair are finally doing it. After nearly seven years, they finally saved up enough money and kept a clear schedule so that they could fly to Japan, Osaka, to see their favorite group, BTS perform live in the biggest arena the city has to offer. The best thing, they're going to be down at the pit and make sure they are at the very front to get the best- and worst in terms of comfort- experience ever.

And while she is smiling like a fool out of joy, Jeon Jungkook is fighting to hold on to himself and keep his anxiety under control with teeth and claws. The poor man is stressed beyond limit. He plays it cool in front of the cameras and anyone else that don't include the other members and his trusted people, but once away from that, he turns into a helpless fidgeting machine that can't rest for a single moment.

The reason behind his uneasiness the past month-and especially now- is that his beautiful soulmate seems to have lost connection with him again. Last time he got a flash of her was about thirty days ago;

"We're going to a BTS concert!!" she cheered while clapping her hands happily and looking from her laptop screen up to her male friend.

And that is all Jungkook has been left with to think of for the past month.

She's coming to a concert of ours. I can finally meet her! Hope and happiness had filled up the boy after his eyes snapped open from the flash but then he realized, Wait- which concert is she coming to? Which city? Where is she going to be in the venue? There's gonna be thousands of fans how will I see her? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh,

He sunk in his chair and blankly stared at the beige hotel wall in front of him to process.

What-

He thought as he blinked his eyes. His mind decided to solemnly focus on the fact that she was coming to a concert and a bright smile expanded on his lips, making the beautiful crinkles show on the corners of his eyes before he threw his head back and his melodious laughter echoed in the four walls of the hotel.

I don't know how but when you come I'll find you. You can't escape me, nameless soulmate.

He thought, hoping he would get more visions that would help him locate her and be more prepared for when the time comes.

Oh, if only Jeon Jungkook from a month ago knew what was to follow he wouldn't have taken the news so lightly.  Not a glimpse, not a sound, not a dream. Not a single thing has he heard or seen about her to give the slightest of clues. At first, he was worried about her not coming to the concert after all, but as the days passed, concerts in different cities flew by and he still had no news of her he started questioning her well being.

Was she okay? Did something happen to her? Did she fall into her void again?

She was doing so good, how could she have possibly fallen again?

He went paranoid and as days passed the worse he became because the end of the tour came closer and his hopes were shortening. Knowing that she is attending a concert without being aware of which one drives him completely nuts. What if he loses this chance to meet her- and it's the only one ever given? Even worse, what if the visions never come back again?

"Jungkook, relax you're gonna pierce the seat's fabric," he hears NamJoon's voice that snaps him out of his spiraling thoughts.

The boy has been sitting on his designated-first class- airplane seat or more-like fancy airplane high-technology bed and he has been aggressively pocking the pointed end of his cable earphones down on the seat next to his thigh while shaking his leg up and down as well.

"I can't help it, Hyung," he whines while stopping his hand from violently abusing the seat and now shaking both his legs up and down, "It's the last concert in a few days and if I don't see her there I might flip."

"You're already flipping," YoonGi's quiet voice sounds before he drops on his own seat by the window and pulls the warm brown curtains to cut himself off from everyone else so he can sleep in peace and darkness.

"Ah, Hyung,"  Jungkook responds with complaint coloring his voice as he dramatically lowers his head and embraces it with his hands, "My stomach is going to burst," his voice comes out a bit muffled.

"Jungkook," SeokJin's voice suddenly sounds, "Take a chill pill," he says half serious and half joking, in terms of lightening up the mood a little bit, yet no one responds positively to his words.

All four- having heard  him- give him disapproving side glances and Jungkook just raises his head to stare at the eldest with his mouth agape before he says, "She is my chill pill, Hyung."

And like that the atmosphere gets even heavier, silence falls among all of them. Jimin and TaeHyung purse their lips puffing their cheeks out while they look at the youngest with worry, wishing they could do something to help him out. SeokJin looks downward and leaves a sigh from his mouth while NamJoon and HoSeok exchange awkward glances.

"SeokJin-Hyung, you're lame," YoonGi's voice sounds out of the blue startling everyone- the rest six members of the group- in this first class cabin of the airplane.

SeokJin stays quiet processing the words that YoonGi just uttered. His face twists in confusion before he furrows his eyebrows and turns around and snaps YoonGi's curtains open as he starts spiraling in an endless cycle of complaints towards the second eldest of the group.

Just right after SeokJin opens the curtain YoonGi puts his hand over his eyes to cover them from the abrupt light and he starts yelling a sequence of 'Aaaaa's as if he's setting a musical carpet for SeokJin to whine on.

The other members quietly watch the two drag it before they simultaneously stop for a moment to take a breath and then begin again on the same split second. The synchronization of the two has the youngers fall in hysterical laughter, especially Jungkook who nearly falls back on his back but then returns to his original position.

However, all the waves of laughter and screams are cut off as a stewardess opens the door and enters the cabinet being accompanied by other passengers as well.

JungKook stands up from his place to see the reason behind the silence that suddenly fell and his entire world stops once he does.

During that entire time where the boys were trying to make Jungkook relax, Y/N was in another part of the place, where the simple, uncomfortable, too-close-to-each-other seats take over the economy class passengers suffer through their travel. But the discomfort wasn't really a problem as the only thing she could think of was the concert that'd take place the next day.

Her stomach was tied up in an excited knot while she thought about how many times she's going to get offended by the antiques of those seven boys on stage. Different scenarios kept playing in her mind until a flight-attendant came over her and Mathew with a kind smile on her face.

"Hello, please take your stuff and follow me to the first class cabin," she warmly smiles down at the two and they stare back at her utterly confused.

"I'm sorry?" Mathew questions fixing his thick glasses on the bridge of his nose.

"Didn't you hear?" the female asks, "Today is the twentieth anniversary of our airlines and in every flight, two lucky passengers get to switch to the first class cabinet. You two have won."

That's what all the clapping was about...She thinks recalling that a few moments ago there were heard some claps of congratulations. She got curious but not enough to ask what the occasion was. In any case, it looks like it's her and Mathews lucky trip.

Each picking up their backpacks and coats follow behind the stewardess, leaving behind the tragedy of economy class, and walking into the magic world of fancyness and comfort, first class.

They follow her until they enter the cabinet they will be staying in and they look around in awe and amazement at how different it is but then it gets better.

"There are your seats," The flight attendant tells them as she shows two fancy seat-beds sitting next to each other, "Please enjoy the flight,"

"Thank you very much," Y/N averts her eyes to the fligh-attendant and gives her a kind smile but her eyes catch Mathew staring towards his front with shock written allover his face.

Her eyes follow his and she finds seven men awkwardly staring at her, Mathew and the flight-attendant. She doesn't take long to realize who those seven men are and her eyes go wide for a split second before her logic reminds her that she shouldn't make a big deal out of this and she blinks, pretending that her mind didn't just explode at coming across the people she's fawned over for the past seven years, the members of BTS.

"I-is there something wrong?" her voice comes out quiet and insecure- not like she'd whised- but still loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Ah," NamJoon exhails, "You see we have requested for the entire cabin to be just for the seven of us and...," he trails off shifting his glance from the Y/N to the flight-attendat.

"I was informed I should bring the two winners here. I must have been misinformed, please wait here while I inform my superior about this," the woman says with a kind smile and just as she's about to turn the voice of the youngest member of the group sounds loudly.

Dissapointment deadpanss on her stomach at the news that she and Mathew will have to be removed from the cabin now they desperately wish to stay in.

Fuck, she cusses in her mind lowering her gaze to the floor negativity consuming her. Of cour,se she wouldn't be able to stay.

"No, no, wait!" Jungkook calls and the woman shifts her confused gaze towards him, "Let them stay, it's alright."

Her eyes go wide once she hears his voice in real life and they go wider because of the words he just uttered.

Her eyes can't help themselves but look for his face under the black bucket hat he's wearing. Surprisingly it's not covering any part of his face and when she looks at his eyes, she finds them staring right back at her with a lot of emotion behind them.

She feels herself trapped by him. She's definitely too overwhelmed by what is going on here.

"A-are you sure?" the woman stutters and Jungkook's eyes break from Y/N's and they focus on her, whereas Y/N is still stuck looking at his face, completely frozen.

"Yes, yes, absolutely sure," Jungkook responds and ignores the questioning glances that his elders gave him, who decided to stay quiet and question his actions later. It's not that big of a deal for them either way.

"I see," the woman nods her head before she turns to Y/N and Mathew, "Please, have a seat and if you need any assistance just press that button," and with that, she's long gone.

Awkward silence fills the cabin before SeokJin makes the first move and heads to sit down at his place all the others following his actions.

Jungkook steals a glance from the girl and finds her still looking at him and an involuntary smile reaches his lips before panic takes over him and he dissapears in his seat.

"You wanna explain what happened just now?" NamJoon questions as he sits down next to the fright-filled boy.

"It's her," Jungkook says as quietly as possible so as not to be heard because he knows she understands and is a fluent speaker of Korean.

"Her?" NamJoon questions as he gives a confused glance to Jungkook.

"My soulmate!" Jungkook snaps as if NamJoon didn't realize the most obvious thing in the world.

"You're joking!" NamJoon gasps-louder than Jungkook would've liked- as he places his hand over his mouth and looks at the youngest with shock.

"Absolutely not, and don't be so loud" the younger slaps NamJoon's forearm and looks at him annoyed but nervously at the same time.

"What are you waiting for? Go talk to her!" NamJoon whisper-yells and- if possible- Jungkook gets even more stressed out than before. Well, in fact, he freezes.

"Jungkook?" NamJoon asks after a few moments of Jungkook staying still and blankly staring into the void.

"How am I gonna do that? I don't know what to say," he responds finally breaking from his frozen situation and nervously looking at NamJoon.

"What do you mean; what are you going to say?" NamJoon looks at him dumbfounded; All this time he has been listening to Jungkook rant on and on about how much he has wanted to meet her, talk with her, hug her, fully interact with her aside from the visions, and now, that he finally can do all that, he's backing away? That's not possible, or if it is, he won't allow it, "Idiot, this is your chance, you never know when you'll come across her again!"

"You're only stressing me out more, leave me alone," Jungkook whines, shaking his head left and right while at the same time feeling a literal hole being drilled in his stomach from the stress.

NamJoon sighs, realizing that Jungkook indeed needs a moment to breathe and find himself so as to relax and gather his mind. Hence with a deep breath, he pats Jungkook's back and stands up. For a moment he turns his head to look at the girl Jungkook's never stopped talking about, to see if she really is as beautiful as he has described her.

She's one hundred percent his ideal type, NamJoon thinks as he takes in her outer image, fitting perfectly to the descriptions Jungkook had given of what he would want his girlfriend to be like.

NamJoon looks back down at Jungkook and taps his shoulder and soon after the boy  raises his head to look at his elder with furrowed eyebrows waiting to hear him, "She's great," and with that, he leaves to his own seat leaving the boy even more flustered."

Not that Y/N is in a better state. If she allowed herself, she would have freaked out and screamed in such frequency she would have broken glasses. Along with Mathew of course, his face has gone red from the embarrassment and he has literally started sweating.

"I can't believe this," he squirms quietly in their native language, "I'm gonna die," he starts fanning himself as he's lied down on his fancy-bed-like-seat while Y/N is fixing some of her stuff  before she heads for her own seat, to the other side of Mathew's.

Her mind is currently blocked. She's not sure of what she's experiencing. Is this shock? Probably.

Her mind is a tornado of thoughts, that have blocked out all other sources of sound, such as Mathew or the mumbling from the boys that make her stomach churn.

How in the world did this happen?

I cannot believe this.

She thinks while staring outside the window trying to keep calm. She's bitting down on her lower lip to somehow control the emotions she's feeling.

When suddenly, something clicks and every sign of excitement disappears in thin air.

Her lip escapes from the grip of her front teeth and instead of a satisfied smile, a frown is written all over her face.

She's disappointed.

Disappointed because she doesn't know what to do.

They are there, only a few meters away from her. They're going to be like that for the next eight hours of the flight until they land and take their own separate ways to the hotels.

It's so easy yet so hard. She can go and tell them how much they mean to her, how much they've helped overcome hardships, how many times they were there for her when no one else offered to lift her spirits.

She could thank Jungkook, for bringing her out of her void, for showing her how emotion is experienced again. For making her feel like a human and not an empty vessel.

She could do what she had initially planned from the day he set her free from her bounds.

But she can't.

Too many things are holding her back;

She knows for them she's only going to be an ordinary fan, one of the millions they have. A fan who's invading their privacy by requesting to talk to them.

What if she annoys them? Of course, out of politeness, they would never show it to her face, as long as she's being polite as well. But somehow she doesn't want to be another person that just tells them how much she loves them and then moves on with their lives. Because for one, she won't.

To them, her talking to them will be just another occasion with basic fan interaction. Fan service in other terms, which sometimes can even get tiring to the idols. Of course, she would never want to be a burden to them.

But to her... This interaction will stay with her till the day she dies, and as much pleasure as talking to them might provide, knowing that the second she will leave their sight they will move on with their lives and forget about her... It pains her more than just never getting the chance to talk with them.

But that's no option now. She's here, stuck in an eight-hour-long flight with them closer than she will ever get the chance to be. And she has two choices, either grasp the courage to go interact and spend the rest of her life thinking of how much of a little impact she had on then. Or, stay silent, ignore their existence and spend the rest of her life regretting the chance that's offered to her in a golden plate.

She doesn't know what to do, insecurity hits her. Maybe she's not worthy of all this, maybe if she talks to them she'll only make a fool out of herself and they'll laugh. This is paranoia, why did they ever win those two seats to a first-class cabinet.

A single tear runs down her cheek, and she wipes it away instantly having forgotten that Mathew, as the diva he is, forced her to make her self look appealing using makeup and other products. Hence, with the wipe of her tear under her eye, there is a long streak of black mascara held on her index finger from her knuckle and on.

"Shoot," she hisses as she stands up, not daring to look at the direction of the boys. Her head ducked low, hair covering the sides of her face, she walks out of the cabinet heading for the bathroom to check how much she's messed eye-makeup.

The moment she steps out of the cabinet however and stands in the hallway her path is blocked by a man.

She looks upward blinking her eyes and lightly shaking away the hair that bothered her vision and she freezes, just as the man does. Jungkook's lovely doe eyes go wide and show his beautiful irises while he takes in her presence, his stomach starting to take accelerating spins like a washing machine.

"Oh," she gasps for a split second staring at the familiar face she's used to staring at from the screen of her phone, "I'm sorry," she apologizes for blocking his way, and he snaps back to reality from being drowned in her face.

"It's okay," Jungkook whispers and the sound of his voice to her ears nearly has her mind explode again.

It's all too surreal. She's having a problem grasping reality at the moment. Jeon Jungkook is standing less than a step away from her and he is talking to her. Quantum Physics would be easier to grasp than this, and they defy logic.

Oh, Goodness, help me.

Jungkook doesn't seem to make any movement for her to pass so she can go to the toilet, where he was a few minutes ago to bring himself down from the high stress he jumped on.

Awkwardness fills up the atmosphere between them. No one is talking, no one is moving for the other to pass for their destination, they're just standing there in silence. Jungkook is staring down at the girl his stomach is at the verge of explosion for and Y/N is avoiding eye contact along with fighting the urge to just hug him right there and cry her stress out in his arms.

It's killing both of them and they don't know what to do.

One of them has to move at some point, they can't just stay like that, no matter if they want to.

Jungkook is sure for a fact that his body is locked in place and is not planning on obeying to his brain's commands that beg for movement. Hence he has to find a new way to justify his physical stance, especially after Y/N stepped to the side-being able to think straighter than him- to let him go.

"A-are you enjoying first class?" He questions in Korean and then sends a mental slap to himself for asking such a stupid question.

You couldn't be more obvious, ya' dumbass.

He scolds himself as he watches Y/N raise her head and look at him surprised that he sprung up a conversation with her.

And then she realizes; He's the one who told the flight-attendant she and Matthew could stay in their cabin.

He is the reason she's having one of the hardest dilemmas of her fangirl life. Oh, if only her morals allowed her to hit him for once, she would get all of her frustrations out. But for reasons mentioned earlier and lack of comfort with him. She can't.

But, in cruel honesty, he is the reason for most things she does and she owes at least to show appreciation towards him.

And as it proves, the universe or higher forces,  can't help themselves but have her interact, hence she has no other choice but to show her best self.

Somethings are just out of control sometimes.

"Yes, we are more than happy with it," she responds with a smile and a nod of her head while trying to hide the tornado that's going on inside her, "Thank you for letting us stay in your cabin even though you had requested that it was only for you. We will not be a bother."

A shy smile shows on Jungkook's face as he looks down, his mind turning into a white canvas. As if her voice washed all his thoughts, like the soft waves of the sea erase the scribbles of people on the sand. It's so clear and loud in his ears, nothing compares to his visions than the real deal and he loves it.

However, disappointment sinks inside of him when she doesn't say anything else and just sticks to the typical words.

He's confused and discouraged.

Is she not going to reveal to him that she happens to be a fan? Or let alone his soulmate? Or...does she not know they are soulmates?

That's impossible.

She should be getting flashes of him just like he gets off hers.

Why is she not doing anything?

The smile disappears from his face and the urge to leave takes over him. Bitterly gulping the saliva that gathered in his mouth, he lowers his head and tears his eyes away from her as he makes a move to leave, muttering an, "I should go."

Yet something neither of them expected, especially Y/N, takes place.

She takes ahold of his forearm and stops him from walking any further, uttering with please in her voice, feeling as if she lets him go now it's the end for her,

"Wait a moment-,"
