Weeks go by and the only thing that has really changed is my love interest. No, I am not talking sexuality wise. That's for another time.
  To be honest, I started picking up these feelings off the side of the road while I was grounded and dating Zack. Our 2nd period Science class together, I had my knee pressed gently into his thigh and didn't really notice until he awkwardly moved his leg away, leaving me a blushing potato sack.

  Oops. Guess that last one makes things awkward, huh? Anyways, I decided not to tell anyone until I had my feelings all sorted out.
  "Hey, Jaden, can I talk to you for a sec?"

  "Yeah, sure!" Jaden replys exitedly.
  Lunch hour during recess. This should be exciting.
  "So, um," I start off, trailing. Jaden stares and smiles at me, excited yet patient. "I like.." I struggle to say his name as I glance at him passing by us to go wait for the doors to open for us to go inside. "...our, um, red head friend." I hesitated out.
  Jaden's face gets replaced with child-like wonder on her first trip to a candy shop. She squeels awefully loud, seeing as how I heard her over the lunch dismissal bell that started ringing. She gave me a quick hug while mumbling her fangirling gibberish. She then heads for the door inside.
  "Don't tell anyone!" I yell after her.
  "I won't!" She calls back. I smile in relief as I walk to grab my lunch box.

  It's been approximately 24 hours, and I've been introduced to a dilema.
  "Do you want me to tell him or not?" she asked, annoyed.
  "I don't know, you can if you want to." I respond.
  "This has to be your decision." she argued.
  Now, this conversation would be perfectly fine if it weren't for Chance being right next to us.
  "Tell me what?" he asks us, innocent but also slightly annoyed. I took a deep sigh. Here goes nothing.
  "You can tell him." I say to Jaden. The moment I saw her start to turn her head towards Chance, I bolted. The last I hear of that conversation was Jaden shouting to Chance "Trinity says she likes you!"
  Oh, boy.
  Buckle up your seatbelts, kids. We're in for a bumpy ride.

  Next morning before school, I awkwardly ask Jaden what Chance said about me liking him.
  "Well," she starts off. "I told him that he can't make things awkward between you two because that's what you were afraid of. He then said something about how it wouldn't be awkward or something like that? I don't know, I don't remember."
  "Alright." I replied. Truth is, that is what I was afraid of. Me and Jaden talked about it for a little while and when she asked me why I wouldn't just tell him, I said I was afraid of ruining our bond and making our hangouts awkward. I'm glad he at least made a point of not making it awkward.
