Flame was born female and identifies with she and her pronouns, although she doesn't really care if people use they and them pronouns on her either. Flame is bisexual, although she isn't very vocal about it she isn't closeted either.

~Nationality and Race~

Flame was born in America and moved to Korea when she was eleven years old. Her parents have french and Italian in both their families but to her, she's just white and American. She doesn't have a single Asian strand in her bloodline, although she can speak and write perfect Korean.

~Overall Looks~
Flame was born with dark green eyes and white hair. As she got older, her eyes developed golden flecks in them and she dyed her hair from white to black, needing a change. She also cut herself bangs around the age of thirteen and has had them since. She's short, around five foot one, and she has a thinner body type, especially due to her anorexia. Her chest is a bit flatter than most girls, but she enjoys not having a larger chest. Her nose is a bit crooked from being broken and healing wrong. She has a scar on her right cheekbone and another from the corner of her lip to the corner of her nose on the left but they don't affect her appearance in an ugly way.

Flame has multiple scars on her body from fights she's been in, where knives were used. She also has had broken bones which causes her body to move differently from others. Her nose is a bit crooked from being broken and healing wrong. Flame began borrowing money and drugs from a gang leader in Korea, which put her heavily into debt. She began working as a prostitute for the gang leader but after receiving a card for Squid Game, she decided to risk it all and join the game. Her debt is 11,839,650.00 won (which is 10,000.00 in US dollars.)

~Personality~

Physically, Flame seems like an innocent little girl, being shorter and smaller than most people including the other players, and he uses that to her advantage. She plays the role of a too-trusting and vulnerable person but she has no issue stabbing someone if it comes down to it. When she gets close to someone, they hold her heart in their hands which causes her to stay as closed off as possible. She has an extremely hard shell to break, hiding her actual vulnerable self behind violent actions or an innocent face. She refuses to show that she even has a heart or kind side, her eyes showing nothing but death and chaos when someone looks into them.

~Physical and Mental Disorders~
Flame suffers mentally from a couple of things like depression and anxiety. Physically, the girl's body has more wounds than normal, although 99% are healed. She's used to fighting and getting injured but she's very rarely gotten treatment for the injuries. Her ribs are a bit messed up from being broken and being healed out of place. She can move a couple of limbs oddly from them not healing right as well. She also has anorexia because it started out as one of the few things she could control but she no longer can.

Flame is American, having lived there from when she was born to the age of eleven. She and her parents moved to Korea since her father was a general for a military branch and he was stationed in Korea. He abused Flame for almost her whole life, while her mother was too busy drinking and sleeping around to notice or care. Flame started hanging out with the troublemakers at thirteen and quickly learned how to fight with fists and weapons. Eventually, she started getting into fights and started borrowing money and drugs from a gang leader which put her into debt handsomely. Her parents refused to do anything to help her, neglecting her heavily once they moved to Korea. She started working for the gang leader as a prostitute to pay back her debts, meeting the recruiter for Squid Game soon after and jumped at the opportunity. Flame once had a boyfriend she truly loved when she was around fourteen, but he simply used her for her body and left her heart shattered, which is why she is so closed off and uses herself as a sexual object towards men to get what she wants.

Flame met Sae-byeok when Sae-byeok was being beaten up by Gi-hun and Deok-su. Flame stepped in and helped Sae-byeok up, and also tripped Deok-su when he went to kick Sae-byeok. The two didn't speak much after and didn't even pair up because Sae-byeok didn't trust the innocent and easily trusting girl. Until Flame did something that the gangster didn't like and ended up with a bloody nose. Sae-byeok helped her clean up her nose and they began working together since Flame revealed she wasn't what she seemed to the other players.

Flame met Jun-ho outside of the Squid Game since she was known for getting into trouble and when locked in a cell, she usually teased the young police officer. Jun-ho took a liking to the young girl, usually letting her off with a warning when she was arrested. When Jun-ho snuck into the Squid Game to find his brother, he was shocked to find Flame there. The two agreed to work together to find Jun-ho's brother and Jun-ho tried giving her as much information about the games as possible.
