You blinked yourself awake,yawning,to the sound of someone yelling in the near distance,before you could look to see who it was though,error shushed you and whispered to you that you needed to go through a portal so you rushed to one you could see close by,jumping through it and into some kind of abandoned castle,or at least,so you thought...you wandered through the empty corridors in search of someone or something familiar,your paws padding lightly upon the blood red carpet that was strewn across the floor below you,running across each hallway that you sprinted through...*snatch*...someone grabbed you by the scruff,holding you tightly which caused you to cringe due to the pain it caused,it hurt but it wasn't unbearable,but what you looked up to face was...

"heheh what have we got here? A little kitten,how did this get into the castle"

The thing that had caught you seemed to be a white skeleton with red,bloodshot,eyes that seemed to look deep into your soul,his skull had a large chunk of bone that had been seemingly bashed inwards,many large cracks protruded from it making him look like a character from some kind of horror movie,he seemed to be amused by the fear that radiated off of you,he smiled a terrifying smile as you caught a whiff of the blood and dust that caked his clothes,but it didn't exactly seem to be his own,you bite down on his hand and he hisses in pain,dropping you onto the carpet and allowing you to sprint as far away as you could

"You little shit!"

He swears at you but you were too shocked to notice,speeding away as fast as you could,completely terrified of the monster who was chasing after you,you dashed around a corner,bashing directly into another skeleton,you fall over onto your back,staring directly into the eyes of him,you let out a distressed 'mew' shaking in fear once again,the other skeleton ran around the corner,skidding to a halt before he could run into the wall

"Dust,grab the lil fucker!"

The hooded skeleton scoops you up and you let out a little yelp,he turns to question the other about your existence inside the castle and why on earth he looks so furious

"So horror,sup with the cat"

"No idea,but I found it in the hallway and the little fucker bit me"

"We should take it to nightmare"

"Aww,but I wanted to have a little fun with it first"

The way he had said 'have a little fun' had certainly put you on edge,you didn't like it,not one bit,an upside to this though is the fact that they think you to be just a normal cat and not a monster,animal-like monsters seem to look more like an animal the younger they are and since you had only been on all fours you seemed like an average cat so there was that I guess,they brought you into a dimly lit room and chained you down to the ground,the first skeleton now known as 'horror' then walked over to a dark corner and picked up something that made a the sharp sound of metal being scraped as he dragged it off of the concrete floor,the moonlight that shone through the window was the only thing that illuminated the shadowy room as he walked back to you,looking at you with this insane look in his eye as your vision slowly trails down to the bloody axe he now wielded,the weapon glinted in the moonlight as he trudged over to you,chuckling,he raised the weapon above your tail and...

*SLAM*

"WHAT IS GOING ON IN HERE"

"Uhhhh...horror did it!"

"Well you were the one who found the cat and suggested we did this"

The new skeleton looked over to you,only now noticing your existence

"Where did that come from"

"I dunno,found it in a hallway"

"Why haven't you taken it to nightmare yet"

"W-we were going to but we wanted to have a little fun first"

"*groan* well that's enough fun for today,I'm taking the poor thing to boss and you two better behave"

Said horror,unchaining you and handing you over to cross who took you out of the room and said stuff to you like 'it's gonna be alright' and 'the bad people are gone now' which,truth be told,actually did seem to calm you down quite a lot as he brought you to a throne room and in front of a goopy looking figure with tentacles emerging from his back,he looked down at you in confusion,
You quickly stood up,cowering before him,knees weak,arms were heavy,(papyrus's spaghetti)

"Cross what the heck is this doing here"

"I have no idea,horror found it wandering the corridors"

"How on earth did it get in"

"Again,I have no idea"

"Welp we should probably kill him"
