Chapter 47: The Ghost of Sweet Amoris High

This chapter has several explanations so please bear with me! First: I do not own "Pain the Love of Heart" by Speed. Above is the song that Opal will be performing in this chapter. Please click and watch if you don't mind because I don't go into details about the dance moves except for the ones I made up. So watch the video and you'll see what she sounds and looks like as you read ;) I did however come up with the translation myself (not the Korean to English but the rough translation to sentences that make sense part). It is not word for word but it is syllable per syllable of their song and it took me forever to do so hopefully you guys like it!

Second when Opal is 'singing' and some of the words are in parentheses ( ) it means that those words are being sung in the background. Although she does sing the Cold wind wind wind part, just in a different key over top of the background. Also if a word is cut in half with a "-" it means the word takes up two beats in the song. So instead of 'pain' being one beat it would be 'pa-ain', lasting for two. I... think that's it :P

"Hold still, Opal, you have to look perfect tonight!"

It took every last ounce of self-control I had to keep myself from grinning up at Auntie who was applying a small layer of sparkles onto my lips. Once she was done she stood back and stared at my face. After what felt like an eternity she finally nodded and smiled.

"Wonderful! What do you think?"

She moved to the side so I could look into the mirror and I tried to hold back a gasp. My eyeliner was bold, holding up to the glimmering silver eye shadow Auntie had expertly layered onto my eyes that made my green eyes seem bigger than usual. Blush had been applied to my cheekbones, giving them a rosy tint, and as I tilted my head my lips sparkled in the light.

"Wow... you really think no one will be suspicious?" I asked nervously and Auntie scoffed.

"You are probably the only girl on earth that doesn't do their makeup. People who have never seen you won't think twice about it and all of your friends will be backstage," Auntie said flippantly. "Now for the best part!"

She reached up and undid the clasp holding my hair back from my face and it fell all around me. I looked in the mirror again and felt my mouth drop open. It looked like every single strand of my hair was shimmering and as I tilted my head it continued to shimmer and sparkle, making it look like threads of moonlight.

"Auntie... how?" I asked in wonder and she smiled triumphantly.

"Never underestimate a fashion designer! Half my job is to make sure the model's look matches the clothes," Auntie said with a wink and I grinned at her.

"You're amazing, Auntie!" She gave a mock curtsy and grinned cheekily.

"Why thank you, Opal. But we don't want people seeing that until your performance, so here."

Auntie pulled my hair up lightly in a bun, leaving only my bangs and a few strands of hair to frame my face down, before capturing my hair under a large gold hat. She stepped back and nodded.

"Good. I packed a brush in your costume bag; don't worry about brushing out the shimmer. It won't come out without a firm wash. Now, Shin Woo should be here any second so..."

Ding Dong. Auntie and I exchanged a surprised look and we both laughed.

"I'll get it. You get your shoes," I offered with a nervous smile.

Auntie nodded and left for her room while I walked to the front door and opened it to see a very dapper Shin Woo standing in the doorway. He was wearing black slacks, a burgundy long-sleeved dress shirt, a black vest, and shiny black shoes. Instead of his usual spiky hairstyle, he had left it down and parted it into a slick style that made him look very professional.

"Wow, Shin Woo, you look great!"

He laughed while bowing elegantly.

"Such a compliment coming from a beautiful young lady like you!" he said exaggeratedly and I laughed too. "Where's Yuki-chan?"

Just as I was about to reply I heard the familiar click-clack of high heels against the hardwood floor. I stepped to the side to unblock Auntie from Shin Woo's view and his coal-black eyes widened as he sucked in a deep breath. Grinning to myself, I watched Auntie walk up to us in one of her customary mini dresses, this one an electric lime green one-shoulder piece with silver beading circled just below her bust line, giving the dress a faux empire waistline. She had pulled her hair into a side ponytail and then curled it, letting it spill over her bare shoulder. Sparkling silver heels with matching earrings and necklace completed her ensemble and I wasn't at all surprised that Shin Woo had been struck speechless.

"Well, don't you look handsome! When are you going to start dating, Shin Woo? You're really doing the single women's population a disservice."

I blinked in shock at Auntie's offhand comment and turned to look at Shin Woo, who just shrugged and smiled.

"Why mess with a good thing? Isn't that what you said?" he asked cheekily and she chuckled.

"Point taken, let's go!"

Before I could inquire after what that conversation had meant, Auntie shepherded me out the door and we all climbed into Shin Woo's four-door Mercedes-Benz. I couldn't help but Oooo in appreciation as I sat on the black leather seats and admired the beautiful interior of the sporty car. After Shin Woo had helped Auntie into her seat he got in and drove the short distance to the high school auditorium. Even though we were half an hour early, we still had to park in one of the back rows of the parking lot facing the auditorium entrance.

"This is so exciting! I can't wait!" Auntie squealed enthusiastically and I nodded.

"Me neither! I haven't seen any of the acts since I always practiced on my own. I can't wait to see what Alexy has planned for his parts! He wouldn't tell me what he's doing."

"It's going to be splendid. I helped him with it," Auntie said with a mischievous grin and I gasped indignantly.

"Hey! Since when did you keep secrets from me?"

Auntie and Shin Woo laughed and I raised a suspicious eyebrow as we walked through the doors. Shin Woo left to buy us our tickets and I scanned the crowds. I grinned broadly when my eyes rested on Iris who was handing out programs to every one that passed her.

"Hi, Iris!" I called happily and she grinned then gasped.

"Opal! You look so pretty!" Iris gushed, pulling me into a quick hug which I returned.

"Thank you, Iris. It was all Auntie's doing," I said while glancing back at her. Iris' eyes widened a bit when she saw Auntie in all her splendor.

"Wow! Yuki, you are as beautiful as ever!" Iris gushed and Auntie laughed.

"Thank you, Iris. Are there any good seats left?"

"I think so; do you have your tickets?" she asked politely.

"Right here."

Shin Woo walked up behind us and handed three tickets to Iris. Her eyebrows arched at me with obvious curiosity and I inconspicuously shook my head and frowned. She nodded slightly and held out two programs.

"I hope you enjoy the show!" Iris said with a grin.

Auntie took a program and walked in with me, Shin Woo a step behind us. Miraculously we were able to find seats in the very middle with a perfect view of the stage.

"How did we score these seats?" Shin Woo asked with delight and Auntie grinned.

"It's destiny! Opal is making her grand debut so of course we would get perfect seats!" Auntie exclaimed.

I quickly placed a hand over her mouth, glancing around me furtively. When I was satisfied no one had overheard, I took my hand away and Auntie giggled.

"I'm sorry, Opal. I just got excited," she apologized and I smiled at her.

"I'm glad you're excited. I hope I do well."

"Of course you'll do well! I taught you everything you know," Shin Woo said proudly from the seat on my other side and I laughed.

"Oh, Opal, look at this!"

Auntie shoved the program in front of my nose and I glanced down at it. There was a long list of acts divided by an intermission and I blinked as I saw what Auntie had been indicating. Right below the large-print 'Intermission' was a line of print that looked like it had been written with a dark red pen that read, "Lady Mysteria.........?" and it had a thin black line going through it.

"They did really well with this! It looks like someone wrote the name in and then someone else crossed it out!" Auntie whispered and I couldn't help but smile.

Alexy had refused to tell me the ghost story he had come up with, saying he wanted me to enjoy the show as much as I could. I was excited to see how he would use this in his little skit.

"They better introduce you after you do your act though. I don't want people thinking your name is actually Lady Mysteria," Shin Woo grumbled under his breath, and Auntie and I chuckled.

We spent the half-hour before the show chatting and I found that I really enjoyed spending time with Shin Woo and Auntie together. Again I wondered why Auntie wouldn't give Shin Woo a chance, but just then the lights began to dim until only a single spotlight was lighting the far left corner of the stage with the curtains still down. A smattering of applause sounded as Mr. Tremont stepped into the spotlight and waved.

"What a splendid turnout we have this evening! I want to thank you all for taking the time to come to support our extremely talented students! As I am required to state, please notice where the exits are located in case of emergency."

He then pointed dramatically toward the tunnels we had walked through and the green Exit signs hanging above the side doors near the stage. A few chuckles erupted at Mr. Tremont's antics but they soon quieted when he brought the microphone back to his lips.

"Well then, I know you didn't come here to hear me babble on, so without further ado, I turn the time over to our Emcee, Alexy!"

I clapped loudly as Mr. Tremont walked behind the curtain. After a moment, Alexy came out wearing a sharp black tuxedo, complete with a pink bow tie and matching hankie in his front pocket.

"Welcome, welcome, everyone! What a beautiful crowd of people! Are you all excited?" A few cheers sounded out and Alexy clutched his heart dramatically. "What a lackluster answer. Let's try this again; are you all excited?"

This time I joined in with the cheering and Alexy grinned captivatingly. He really did look handsome in his tux and I wondered if Auntie had helped him coordinate it.

"Now, without further ado, we are going to welcome our first act onto the stage. Give it up for Mike the Juggle Master!"

Alexy twirled around and threw his hands down by his sides as the entire stage lit up. Slowly he raised his arms and as they went higher the curtain began to rise with them as if he was causing it.

A round of applause ensued and once the curtains were up Alexy walked off the stage and a skinny boy with a mop of brown hair walked out carrying a large box. Music began to play and I watched in awe as the boy started out juggling feather-light pieces of fabric, then added balls so that he was juggling both at the same time. His talent ended with him juggling seven bowling pins at once and the crowd applauded.

He took his bow and walked off the stage as Alexy reentered. I did a double-take because he was no longer the posh young man that had greeted the crowds. Instead, he was wearing a billowing velvet robe the color of midnight over a tight black shirt and white slacks. He was carrying a stool under one arm regally and positioned the stool right in the middle of the stage. With several flourishes, he made a great show of sitting down elegantly and I laughed along with a few others in the crowds. Once Alexy was satisfied with his position, he brought the microphone up to his mouth.

"Now, my dear audience, there is something that has come to my attention and I feel it necessary to explain. Would you all please take a look at your programs?" A rustling of paper ensued and Auntie sent me an excited glance which I returned with a small grin. "In the program you will see what looks like a name written in and then crossed out. The name is... Lady Mysteria." Alexy's voice took on a deep, suspenseful tone as he said the name and I tried to keep from chuckling. "If you would allow, I have a story I'd like to tell," he said to the audience.

A small bout of applause rang out at the announcement. He held up his free hand for silence and the auditorium immediately obeyed.

"You see, Sweet Amoris High is an old school and there have been stories going throughout the halls; stories of a former student named Lady Mysteria. Lady, the story says, was the kindest and most beautiful student in all of Sweet Amoris. But Lady had a secret."

Alexy held up one finger in emphasis and then continued.

"Lady was in love with the captain of the school soccer team. She tried to pluck up her courage her whole junior year and finally when she came back to Sweet Amoris as a senior she approached the captain and confessed her feelings for him. The soccer captain, being a very ambitious boy, was thrilled since Lady was the most well-known and well-loved student in school; not to mention the prettiest. He told her he felt the same and they began to go out. Lady had never been happier, but her happiness was not to last. A new student moved into Sweet Amoris, her name was Beatrice, and truth be told she was even prettier than Lady. But instead of being sweet and kind, she was sarcastic and vain; the complete opposite of Lady. They did, however, have one thing in common. Both girls were in love with the soccer captain."

Alexy paused dramatically and I leaned forward, completely caught up in the story.

"Beatrice didn't care that Lady was already dating the soccer captain, she went right up to him and said that she wanted him to be hers. The soccer captain, who only cared about the outward appearance of a person, agreed and dumped poor Lady. The story tells that as Lady watched Beatrice walking away with her love that her heart broke and she died right there in the middle of the courtyard." The stage lights dimmed ominously and Alexy lowered his voice slightly, "It is said that she still roams the halls of Sweet Amoris, calling out for her lost love in the deep of the night."

A collective gasp went through the audience and Alexy stayed motionless, letting the story sink in. Then suddenly he popped up from his seat and grinned broadly as the lights came back to their previous strength.

"But that's just a story! Someone was probably just pulling a prank in the program, so don't worry about it! Let's get on with the show! Next up is our own Sweet Amoris Jazz Band playing 'Bumble Bee Boogie'!"

With that, Alexy picked up his stool and sprinted backstage as four young men came out with their instruments and began to play.

"That was really excellent! Alexy gave me goosebumps!" Auntie whispered in my ear.

I nodded absently, enraptured with the performance in front of me. The song was bouncy and fun and the trombonist had just begun his solo. When they finished I clapped loudly along with the rest of the audience. I broke out laughing though when Alexy walked out wearing a long-sleeved shirt and pants with bold black and yellow stripes and black antennas attached to a headband on his head.

"I made that for him!" Auntie laughed into my ear and I grinned widely.

"That sure was something, wasn't it? It really screamed bumblebee to me!"

The audience all laughed and the next act, a ballerina, took the stage. Her dance was beautiful and I clapped loudly. Again I almost doubled over laughing when Alexy emerged, now wearing a white tuxedo and a huge hat in the shape of a swan.

"I love the ballet! It always reminds me of Swan Lake, what about you?" he asked energetically.

All of a sudden the lights began flickering. I blinked and looked up just as a familiar Fwooosh sound echoed through the auditorium and a shaky female voice whispered eerily, Please don't leeeeaaavvvve. Once the eerie voice had trailed off into nothingness the lights turned back off and only the stage was illuminated once again.

I looked up at Alexy and if I hadn't known that he was acting I would have believed he was truly terrified out of his mind. He had fallen onto his rear and his head whipped this way and that as if he was trying to pinpoint where the noise had come from. Then he looked at the crowd and he grinned a little too widely as he brought the microphone back up to his mouth and stood up, picking up his fallen swan hat.

"Ahaha. N-nothing to worry about, folks! Just the tech staff messing with me I'm sure. L-let's continue!"

The next three acts were splendid and Alexy's costume changes got more and more ridiculous as the night went on. After a girl did a routine with Nunchucks, the weapons not the wii remotes, Alexy came out wearing a ninja outfit complete with a black headmask.

"If I wasn't already a ninja I would be completely terrified to be within ten feet of that girl. Nicely done, Madison!" he called and everyone clapped once more. "Next up we have..."

Again the auditorium lights began to flicker and a creepy moan spread throughout the room, surprising a few yelps out of the audience. My recorded voice called out hauntingly, I'm so looooonellllyyyy over top of the moaning, creating a chilling combination.

A high-pitched scream came from the stage and as the lights again died down and the stage lit up we could see that Alexy had curled into a ball on the floor with his thumb pressing against his face mask in a vain attempt to suck on it. Peals of laughter, some shaky and some robust, rang through the auditorium. Alexy quickly picked himself up, brushing off his ninja suit and taking off his mask so we could see his too-wide smile.

"D-d-d-d-don't be scared! There's no such thing as a g-haaa. A gh-hooo. A gh-huuu." More laughter rang out as Alexy continued to pretend to be too scared to say the word 'ghost'.

"This boy is hilarious! He should become an actor," Shin Woo whispered into my ear and I grinned broadly.

The rest of the acts went uninterrupted from the ghostly voice and before I knew it intermission had come.

"You know what to do?" Auntie asked and I nodded.

"Wish me luck," I said nervously. Simultaneously, Auntie and Shin Woo wrapped me in a hug.

"You're going to do great!" Auntie whispered and Shin Woo pulled away, patting me on the back.

"Just believe in yourself, we're cheering for you."

I could do nothing but nod, suddenly too nervous to even speak.

I got up, stretched a bit, and then walked calmly towards the side exit that connected to the school hallway. After casually spinning in a circle and making sure no one was watching, I slipped into the hallway and walked quickly down to the restroom at the end of the hall where Alexy was waiting for me with a large bag.

"Quick quick, the contestants are going to move into the auditorium soon," Alexy urged. I grabbed the bag from him and dashed into the restroom. "I'll be back to pick you up, you have ten minutes to get changed," I heard Alexy call and then his footsteps retreated.

Without wasting any time I unzipped the white sweater I had worn, exposing the shimmering purple, skin-tight tank top Auntie had made me; although Alexy kept insisting that the color was called amethyst. I opened the bag and pulled out a hairbrush and a hat which was now unrecognizable from the simple hat it had once been. The fabric was a metallic black that caught the light as it moved and a band of silver fabric was wrapped around the base of the rim.

I set both brush and hat aside and reached in carefully to pull out the top that Auntie had toiled over. It was made of black fabric with silver sparkles weaved in, making it sparkle no matter how you moved it. I slipped it over my tank top and allowed myself a second to admire Auntie's work. The left shoulder was a cap sleeve while the right was a thick strap and it fit me perfectly; hugging my upper body, loosening a bit over my stomach, and tightening around my waist. All throughout the bodice there were carefully placed rips in the fabric which showed the purple of my tank top underneath.

Knowing I didn't have time to waste, I pulled out the skin-tight black capris that hit just below my knees. They were made of the same black fabric as the hat but like the shirt, they had what looked like random rips up and down both legs, but they were actually strategically placed holes to show the underlayer of silver fabric Auntie had inserted.

I tugged them on quickly and reached once more into the bag. This time I pulled out two ribbons, one purple and one silver, and wrapped them like Auntie had taught me up my arms, fastening them halfway up my biceps. Finally, I pulled out the high-top shoes Auntie had redone in the same purple color as my tank top with shimmering black laces. Once I had everything on I pulled the gold hat off and brushed out my hair, gasping once more in delight as it glimmered just like moonlight.

"Lady Mysteria, you ready?" I heard Alexy hiss.

I quickly jammed the black hat on at the angle Auntie had drilled me in before stuffing my old clothes in the bag and running out of the restroom. Alexy opened his mouth but no words came out as he stared at me. I was alarmed when his eyes began to fill with moisture.

"Alexy, are you okay?" I asked and he smiled joyfully.

"I helped design that," he said with obvious emotion and I rolled my eyes and chuckled.

"You did good, Alexy. But aren't we supposed to get in position?" I asked teasingly. Alexy snapped out of his moment.

"Right, of course. Come with me."

Alexy took the bag from me and butterflies began dancing in my stomach as I realized that the moment I had been practicing for for weeks was finally here. Alexy, who was now wearing a blue jumpsuit and carrying a large toy gun that looked like a little vacuum, led me to the empty backstage. Expertly he taped a small microphone onto my cheek and then looked me over once more.

"Okay, I'm going to go out there and pretend to introduce the basketball team. Then the creepy sounds will start and when the curtain starts to rise, hit the start button on the fog machine. It's programmed to only run for a minute to give a creepy effect, it won't be running while you dance. Then the lights will all go out and you'll take your position. You remember where that is?"

I nodded confidently. Mr. Tremont had pounded how many steps it would take before I got into 'the spot' for a full half an hour yesterday at the dress rehearsal; I could've found it in my sleep.

"Okay. After that, then it's all you," Alexy said with a grin and I nodded, gulping past a lump in my throat.

"Right. All me," I repeated.

Suddenly Alexy touched a finger to my nose. It was so unexpected that the first thing I could think to do was cross my eyes to try and see his finger. Alexy laughed and I looked up at him. His laughing face loosened something in me and I smiled, thinking of Auntie, Shin Woo, and all of my friends out in the audience.

"You're going to do great!" Alexy encouraged and, at the same time, I could hear Mr. Tremont saying his small piece to the audience. I had officially run out of time.

Alexy gave me one last thumbs up before walking around the curtain and onto the stage. Trying to dispel my nerves, I took a few deep breaths as I listened to Alexy greeting the audience and beginning his introduction to the basketball team. Once again, a low moaning noise rang out through the auditorium, and my pre-recorded, plaintive cries of, Please, please don't leave me, started out soft but then grew louder and louder as the sound crew repeated the track flawlessly.

I could hear Alexy out on the stage pretending to act brave and saying it was all a prank when the curtains began to rise. Just as Alexy had instructed, I hit the switch and as fog poured underneath the curtains I heard Alexy let loose a bloodcurdling scream and run off the stage. All of the lights turned off and I counted carefully the twelve steps I needed before I was in the very center of the stage.

Facing the back of the stage, noises and cries from the audience reached my ears, but in my mind, I could picture Auntie sitting on the very edge of her seat while clasping her hands together in anticipation. A surge of confidence and excitement coursed through me and after placing my hands on my hips I breathed deeply in the darkness before whispering into my mic,

"I'm so alone."

The spotlight hit my back and without missing a beat, I slowly moved my shoulders sideways so that I could see the audience as I began vocalizing to the music, "Wo-oh-oh-ho. Oh oh oh-oh. Oooo a haa-aa" as my vocalizing came to an end I spun around and took a few confident steps forward before launching into my dance.

Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo
Why did you ha-ave to go? (Cold wind, wind, wind, wind, wi-ind)
Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo
I've never felt so alone (Cold wind, wind, wind, wind, wi-ind)

Winter fades away and love leaves to-oo
My loneliness has made my heart go all aske-ew
After you left, my life feels so empty
I can't say anything and my heart is breaking

I am lonely, I am lonely. Why did you have to leave me?
I need you to come back, say you'll stay with me
I'm alo-one, I'm alo-one. I shed tears every da-ay
You wo-on't hear the sound of my awful pain

The ice cold wind is blo-o-wing,
My empty hands are chi-i-ling
My fragile heart is tea-a-ring
But what are you do-ing?

The ice cold wind is blo-o-wing
My heavy heart is hur-r-ting
But I cannot do any-y-thing,|
And time keeps passing me (byyyyyy. Oh oh, Oh oh)

In the background I could hear my falsetto voice sing out the word 'by', while simultaneously harmonizing with soulful vocalizations. The lights had come on and were now shining down on me so I couldn't see the audience and it felt like I was just practicing for the fun of it. I jumped back into the chorus as my background voices continued to sing for a couple more bars.

Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo
Why did you ha-ave to go? (Cold wind, wind, wind, wind, wi-ind)
Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo
I've never felt so alone (Cold wind, wind, wind, wind, wi-ind)

After the chorus was over I reached up and flipped my hat around so that the rim was now facing down towards my neck and I began the rap section.

Whatever the reason is, I'm sorry for everything
What do I do now? I need the love you bring
When I look at myself I see that I am pitiful
All day long I feel like a foolish imbecile
The harsh cold wind blows by so Whycan'tIacceptthisgoodbye?
Mem'ries don't allow my feelings to dry
And I don't know why (Why?)
Whyisdivisiontheanswer? Like the wind you went and left me behind
I'm so sick! (Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo OO!)

As I cried, "I'm so sick," I tossed my hat up into the air. I knew instantly that I had thrown it terribly wrong, but I didn't have the luxury of a do-over. As my voice rang out from the background music I watched the hat flip backward in a slight arch so I crouched slightly and launched myself into the air, spinning into a backflip and hoping I had gone far enough back. When I landed on the stage again out of the corner of my eye I could see my hat flipping down towards me so, almost instinctively, I swept my left leg out and spun, whipping my hand out and catching the brim of the hat between my middle and index finger.

Quickly, I spun back up, bringing my left arm across the right side of my face while my right arm went around my stomach. Tilting slightly to the side I held my pose for half a second and winked at the audience as I replaced my hat. Then I launched back into the bridge.

I am lonely, I am lonely. Why did you have to leave me?
I need you to come back, say you'll stay with me
I'm alo-one, I'm alo-one. I shed tears every da-ay
You wo-on't hear the sound of my awful pain

The ice cold wind is blo-o-wing,
My empty hands are chi-i-ling
My fragile heart is tea-a-ring
But what are you do-ing?

The ice cold wind is blo-o-wing
My heavy heart is hur-r-ting
But I cannot do any-y-thing,
And time keeps passing me (byyyyyyyy Ohoh Ohoh Ohoh)

Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo
Why did you ha-ave to go? (Cold wind, wind, wind, wind, wi-ind)
Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo
I've never felt so alone (Cold wind, wind, wind, wind, wi-ind)

Suddenly the tempo slowed down and I changed my voice into a soft and pleading tone as I sang.

Oh no, my lo-ove,
Don't leave me in the dust
Don't take away my trust
Oh no, my lo-ove,
Why must you go-o-o?
Why are you leaving me alone?
Eh hey hey hey HEY

On the last hey I jumped straight into the air, punching a fist towards the sky. As I landed back on the stage I sang along with the background disc and vocalized, hardly believing that the clear high notes emerging from within my chest were actually mine as the background CD sang the last chorus

Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo
Why did you ha-ave to go? (Cold wind, wind, wind, wind, wi-ind)
Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo Woo Ooo Ooo Oo Oo
I've never felt so alone (Cold wind, wind, wind, wind, wi-ind)

As the last note dissolved into the air I moved my hand from my heart down towards the ground, as if I was watching it fall, and held my pose.
