Black Figures.
As if he had cat like reflexes; Peeta pulls me onto his lap without hesitation. I grumble and any to say something, but he's trying to protect me. "Peeta, just let me get my bow." I argue. He nods slowly and let's me stand to bring my bow and arrows over beside us. We sent Tigris up into her shop with a wire so we can hear what's happening.
"Are you the only one living here?" A male voice asks.
"Yes I am." She puts on the fake Capitol accent.
"How large is the building?"
"Not very, just big enough for a bed in the back. Why do you ask?"
"Well we've gotten word of the rebel forces arriving here in the Capitol and we need to evacuate the inner district to be sure the mansion is safe. So we're looking for places to take the refugees."
"Well why couldn't you put them in the mansion?" She asks a excellent question.
"Well ma'am, we aren't sure who exactly is with the damn mockingjay. For all know she could have children working for her." I grit my teeth as Peeta rubs circle into my lower back. "Either way. Would you be willing to foster some refugees?"
"It depends on how many and when?" She asks tactfully.
"Sometime tomorrow, maybe five to ten."
"That should be fine."
We all exchange looks, she's put us on a time crunch. We must be out of here tonight yet.
"Thanks for your time." We all hear the door close and I unlock the basement door to let her back down. She pushes Gale to his chair and gets back to work.
"I'm sorry guys, I really did want to help you all out."
"You have more than you can imagine." I lay a caring hand on her shoulder. She nods and does the finishing touches to Gale.
"I don't think it will be necessary for anybody else. We will wear hoods and jackets."
"Alright..." She nods picking up her supplies and loading them into a box. "Where will you go after this?"
"We'll be on the run for a while, most likely on the outskirts until we find an abandoned house for us to stay in. Do you have any more food?" Boggs explains.
"Yes, I have more stashed upstairs." She nods and Gale follows her to help. Peeta turns me around and examines my face.
"I think this would be a great wedding look." I smirk.
"Not really the look I was going for." He draws me to him.
"Oh yeah? And what's that?" I laugh.
"The makeup you wore on the victory tour, when we went to eleven."
"Bummer, I really like this."
"Absolutely no way."
"Will we even see our wedding day?" I breath into his shoulder.
"Of course we will. Why wouldn't we?"
"Because of all this."
"Trust me, I'll make sure you get home alive." I nod into his chest not wanting to bring up how I'll be he one dead and he'll be going home alive.
"Is anyone hungry? Or shall we wait?" I hear Gale ask.
"Let's eat now, we never know how long it will be until we find a new house." Peeta suggests. I nod, on the inside in proud he's making suggestions to the group. The bag of cans is placed in the middle of the room and Peeta stands and puts me in his spot on the rugs. "I'll get you some." I nod.
He comes back smiling hanging me a spoon and a can. I turn the label and it says Lamb stew with rice. "My favorite." I smile kissing his cheek.
"And you act like I don't love you or something." He teases accepting me kisses.
I peel open the can and eat the delicious stew, it's so good. Peeta has some vegetable mush. He's always liked vegetables more than meat, unlike me id rather have a juicy deer steak.
We finish and he throws the cans away. He comes back and I throw my arms around his shoulders kissing his cheek. "You've been quite clingy lately, what's wrong?" He laughs.
"What? You don't like it?"
"No trust me I do, I was just wondering." He rewraps my arms around his shoulders.
"I'm just living life right now. Never know how long we got."
"We got forever."

It's three in the morning when we have to leave, I'm beyond tired since I let Peeta sleep.
We all raise our hoods and start our trek around the city. I take the lead, followed by Gale and Peeta somewhere in the middle. He wanted to be right with me, but just incase we were found we couldn't both be captured.
We walk along the sides of the houses in the shadows, luckily we haven't seen peacekeepers yet. We sees whipping post which I know brings back painful memories to Gale. I hear quick footsteps behind me and I slow down knowing their Peeta, he drags his one foot and you can tell.
"How do I work this thing?" He asks me.
"Go ask Gale, not me. I only know how to work a bow."
"Okay." He dips his head slowing his pace to match Gale's pace. I hear them speak as we walk until Peeta's learned. He catches back up with me and our hands touch often he's so close to me. He bumps into my shoulder and I wince hard, he jumps a bit but i shake my head and keep walking.
We come up to a a huge house, kind of the like the house back in twelve. Like the identical miner's houses, except this is three times as big. I slink inside with Boggs and scout the place out making sure it's safe. "The stairs are a little wobbly but other than that it's safe. Three floors, bedrooms on each; everyone can take a room." Boggs nods as we walk back outside.
Suddenly there's a rustling in the bushes and I jump peering to get a glimpse of it. I load my bow ready to kill wether it be a person or our next dinner. What come out shocks me, paralyzingly me with imminent fear.
A tall figure, wearing full black spandex covering them head to to. First I think their gonna turn, but then they come right for us.
