Annabeth went through her normal school day. She hadn't realised but Percy was in her history, science, and gym class. She would have talked to him in science but she didn't have the time. They had already had history.

At lunch she had looked for him but he was nowhere to be seen. Annabeth sat with Thalia and Grover like usual, and told them about the incident.

Thalia had just teased her where as Grover had told her that he had a lot of classes with the guy. He apparently didn't talk much and wore a hoodie every day. After that helpful conversation Annabeth left for her next class.

Finally last period of the day was gym. Annabeth headed to the locker room. She changed into the schools outfit of purple shorts and grey top. After that she walked into the gym.

The artificial lights made her blink but she sat on the bleachers. Annabeth took advanced PE so it was mixed together. Annabeth looked around at the other kids, all in groups talking to each other.

Drew and her group couldn't annoy her here but Luke could. He stood off the the side with his friends Ethan and some jock. Luke glared at her and she rolled her eyes.

But there was one person she was looking for. She searched the room then she found him. Over standing at the end of the blechers was a tall guy with black hair. Annabeth was just admiring him when coach Hedge came out of his office blowing a whistle.

"ALRIGHT CUPCAKES!!" Coach Hedge was a short pudgy man with curly brown hair and a matching beard. Oh and he said cupcakes a lot. "ITS TIME FOR A PHYSICAL EXAM!!"

Annabeth hopped up and followed the crowd to the first test. The sit and reach. People started going through and sighing when they didn't get what they wanted to. Annabeth was finally up and she beat even the boy's record. The coach patted her back and she grinned.

Percy was up and got exactly what Annabeth had gotten. He shrugged and walked to the back of the group. Annabeth met his eyes and he smiled. She smiled back.

The same thing happened on the push ups, pull ups, crunches, jump rope, and the climbing rope. They matched for everything. By the end Annabeth and Percy were sweating and grinning at each other.

Annabeth took a second to take him in. His hair was still messy but he wore the same uniform as she did. Now she could see his arms that were very toned. Percy was built like a swimmer, lean and strong.

His eyes danced with mischief as he crossed his arms and smirked. "Well. Looks like we're matched. Want to see who wins a race?" Percy had nothing but playful challenge in his eyes. Annabeth crossed her arms and smirked too.

"You're on Jackson." She was aware everyone was staring but she didn't care.

"Oh you wound me! Jackson! I thought we were friends and you call me Jackson!" He place a hand over his heart and faked hurt. Percy did puppy dog eyes and Annabeth melted.

Of course she didn't show that she did "Whatever Jackson." She smirked and Percy grinned.

"OK Wise Girl. Let's go!" They walked to the end of the gym. "First one to touch that wall and get back wins." Annabeth nodded and the two got ready.

People pulled out their phones and started recording.

"Three." Percy started.

"Two." Annabeth continued.

"ONE!" They shouted together and were off. Annabeth couldn't believe Percy was keeping up with her. She did track and soccer! Not to mention all of the marital arts training.

Annabeth touched the wall and rocketed back. She stopped just as her hand slammed into the original wall. She turned to her side with a smile just to see Percy with his hand on the wall too.

They were both panting and grinning. "We tied again." Percy said. God his voice... It was smooth and calming like the ocean in the morning.

"Looks like." Annabeth shook his hand. "We will have to try again when we both aren't already wiped." Percy chuckled and it sent tingles down her bones. She felt her cheeks tinge pink.

"We will Wise Girl. Now let's go." He waved her over and they headed to their locker rooms. When Annabeth came back out Percy said good bye and left. He left her in the hall way grinning like a fool and a blushing mess.

And that's exactly how Thalia found her. Annabeth was walking to her locker still grinning and blushing. Thalia waved a hand in front of Annabeth's face. "Yo! Earth to Annabeth!" Thalia chuckled at the surprised expression on Annabeth's face.

"Oh sorry I was in my own world. Sorry." Annabeth blushed a bit more and started to open her locker.

"So what up? Why are you so spacy?" Thalia asked leaning on the locker by Annabeth's.

Annabeth paused opening her locker to explained what happened in gym and found herself grinning again. Percy was so cool and funny! The way he called her Wise Girl like he has known her forever just.... Ugh...

"Looks like our little Bethy has a crush." Thalia teased. Annabeth fake glared though it wasn't compelling due to the grin still on her face. "You can't date him until I approve." Thaila reminded her.

After Luke, Thalia and Annabeth made a deal, any guys would be greatly tested by Thalia. Annabeth nodded remembering the deal.

Finally she opened her locker. A piece of paper fell out. Annabeth caught it and looked at it puzzled. On one side was just a shaded in heart. Annabeth turned it over fully aware that Thalia was looking over her shoulder.

"I didn't fall for you, you fucking tripped me." Was written in a curvy hand writing. It wasn't cursive but close. Annabeth blinked in surprise.

What?

"Looks like you have a secret admirer." Thalia grinned.

"It could just be the wrong locker." Annabeth proposed. Her locker neighbor was Rachel Elizabeth Dare. She was rich and had red curly hair and bright green eyes. Annabeth thought maybe it was for Rachel and not herself.

"Nope look!" Thalia pointed to under the heart. It said "to Annabeth". Annabeth blushed and Thalia pinched her cheeks. "Awww Anna has a crush and someone has a crush on her! It's adorable."

"Shut up Thalia." Annabeth pouted but looked at the paper. Who could it be? She tucked it into her binder and packed up her stuff. After that she headed home.
