Saturdays

Annabeth wore a set of pjs with owls all over them and fuzzy socks as she curled up on the couch. A book was in her lap and a blanket pulled up to her stomach. Music played in the background, American Rejects to be precise.

She was reading when her phone went off. It started playing Under The Sea from Ariel. She smiled knowing Percy had texted her.

Percy: Hey Wise Girl.

Annabeth: Hey, Seaweed Brian.

Percy: What's up?

They kept on like that until it got to the point that Percy was driving over to hang out. That's when she realised she was still in her pjs... She cursed and ran upstairs.

Annabeth choose an oversized black sweater with galaxy print leggings and took her fuzzy socks off. She tied her hair up in a high pony tail as she ran down stairs.

Running into the kitchen Annabeth looked for snacks she had. Hmm... Yeah they were good on food. Drinks too. She was just looking around to see if anything needed cleaned up when her doorbell rang.

Percy was leaning on the door frame, his usual smile on his lips. He wore black jeans with his usual hoodie but it was unzipped to show a black Green Day shirt. The slight breeze was blowing through his hair. Annabeth saw his motorcycle in the drive way and he had his keys spinning on one finger while his helmet was tucked under one arm.

Annabeth let him in with a smile. He looked around the house and whistled. "Nice." He turned to her and smiled. Annabeth took his helmet and put it on a table in the entrance. Next she took his hand and led him to the kitchen.

"We have lots of snacks. Anything you want?" Annabeth said while opened the cabinets.

"Na. Whatever's fine by me but I do have a soft spot for sweets." He rubbed the back of his neck. Annnabeth chuckled and opened the fridge. When she pulled out the stuff for cookies his face lit up. She smiled. "Wise Girl, you're amazing."

They went around the kitchen getting everything ready. When Percy got out baking spray he also got food coloring. Annabeth questioned him on it and he just said everything is better blue. She laughed at that but made the cookies blue anyways.

After they put the cookies in the oven Annabeth made them some punch. Percy told Annabeth about his mom, Sally, and his step dad, Paul. He said they were really nice. She told him about her mom.

"I've never been out of New York. But California has some really good beaches." Percy said as he checked on the cookies.

"Of course that's what you think of." Annabeth teased. Percy raised an eyebrow at her. "Seaweed Brian." He walked over to her and fake glared.

Then he picked her up by the waist and set her on the counter. She hit his arm in protest but he just grinned at her. "Sit here so I don't have to bend down to look you in the eye." He chuckled. Yes she was shorted than him, he didn't have to point that out.

Annabeth glared but he just chuckled and walked over to his drink. On the way he took his hoodie off. She got a look at his arms and she blushed. God. . . Annabeth shook herself before he turned back and walked back over to her.

"So once these cookies are done want to watch a movie?" He ask as he place one hand on either side of her. Annabeth could hardly breath he was so close. Thank god her brain didn't turn to mush completely because she said yes. "Good!" He smiled at her then turned to look at the oven.

It dinged and he grabbed the oven mitts. He pulled the cookies out and laid them on a plate. Annabeth hopped down and grabbed the punch and her glass, Percy got his and they moved into the living room.

"I think you'd like my friends in California." Annabeth started as she sat down. She placed the punch and her glass on the coffee table. Percy sat down next to her and put the cookies on the table.

"I bet I would. We all need to meet up at some point." He grinned at her, she grinned back.

They watched movie after movie and talked and talked. Annabeth ended up leaning on Percy with his arm around her and the blanket pulled up over them. She was so drowsy that she had to rub her eyes to stay awake. Annabeth blinked but didn't open her eyes again.

Annabeth woke up when she heard the door close. She was barely awake though. She was so warm. She heard a grunt of surprise and that's when Annabeth actually rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. She looked around.

Annabeth was in her living room on her couch. But she had a blanket pulled up over her shoulders and arms around her waist. Wait... She  looked down.

Arms were wrapped around her waist and led to... Percy laying behind her. He was laid on the couch with his arms around Annabeth and he was asleep. If he wasn't the one to wake her up then who? Annabeth looked around. She saw her dad standing there in the doorway. He looked shocked.

Oh great.

"Hey dad. I guess we both fell asleep. We were watching movies and just... yeah." Annabeth explained with her cheeks alight. He just nodded and walked out with a strange look on his face. Whatever. She rolled her eyes and looked back to Percy. Annabeth had sat up but his arms were still around her waist. His black hair fell over his eyes and his lips were just slightly parted. He looked so peaceful.

Annabeth smiled at him and moved some of his hair. He sniffed and moved. When he stopped he had his left arm under his head and his right arm pulling her to him. He still didn't have his hoodie on so she saw his muscles flex in his arms.

His shirt rode up because his movement. Annabeth saw his abs and his jeans were low on his hips so she saw the start of his v line. He wore blue boxers. Annabeth blushed and looked away. Okay... She understood what her dad just saw.

Annabeth fanned her face to get the burning to stop. It didn't work. She pulled the covers up for him and laid on the other couch with another blanket.
