Notes and Pictures

Annabeth waited a whole week to carryout her plan. In that time she got everything ready, and made sure it was perfect. Nothing would be out of place and the end would be amazing. She could hardly wait.

Walking together, Annabeth and Percy held hands and talked. Friday, meaning they had the weekend to just hangout and sleep. Percy chuckled as he twirled Annabeth by her hand then pulled her to his chest. he wrapped her up in his arms and rest his chin on her head. "Seaweed Brain," Annabeth laughed as Percy waddled them towards her locker. "You have to go home, remember?"

He groaned before burring his head in her blonde curls. "I do, but . . . ugh." Percy whined. His mother had asked him to come home early to help her with some errands and other things. She had said something like 'I know you'll just spend the whole weekend at Annabeth's so just come home early to get this over with.' That little statement had left him with a red face and an opened mouth.

"You have been spending a lot of time at my place, maybe she just wants some time with her son? Time where her son isn't hanging out with his best friend?" Annabeth asked as she grabbed her things and tucked the newest not into her pocket. Percy nodded like it was plausible before wrapping his arms back around Annabeth and again burring his head in her hair. "Come on, you're acting like you're being grounded or something! I'm sure you'll be able to come over tonight."

"I know but . . . Fine." Percy held out the 'i' then fixed the strap of his backpack before smiling down at Annabeth who had all her things ready. A girl bumped into Annabeth then walked off with a soft "sorry". Percy narrowed his eyes then looked at Annabeth's back. Taped to it was a sigh reading "Slut". He ripped the sign off of the back of the blue hoodie and torn it up.

"Let's go Perce." Annabeth smiled, ignoring the note. She knew the truth, that's all that mattered.

"Yeah, let's go Wise Girl." Percy grabbed her hand and they walked out of the school.

Once Annabeth pulled into her driveway, she ran inside to get everything ready. One thing she wasn't expecting was for her Dad to be home.

"Dad?" She asked as she walked into the living room and saw the blonde man sitting on the couch. "What are you doing home?"

"It's sad you have to ask that." Fredrick muttered as he leaned over his knees. "I just wanted to talk to you, I feel like we've got a lot to talk about." Annabeth had a feeling she knew where this was going, and she didn't have time for it.

"Get to the point you're so carefully dancing around, Dad." Annabeth started to get things ready while talking, pulling out a box from the closet.

"Who is this boy you are spending so much time with?" Her dad asked.

"His name is Percy Jackson. He is my best friend, has been for mouths now. He is the Swim team captain, likes food, gave me this hoodie, and is an amazing guy." Annabeth made her tone clear, these were her thoughts and nothing was going to change that. All the while she was putting signs up in the entry hall.

"How can you be sure, with what happened with Luke I'm just worried-"

"Thalia even approves of him. Dad there isn't any need to worry with Percy. He is a gentleman and caring, nothing like Luke." The blonde turned to her dad with a small smile. "Don't worry Dad."

"Fine . . . I've got to go back to work now, I took a break to come here and talk but I have a lot of research to go over. Love you." Fredrick kissed the top of Annabeth's head before leaving.

Next thing Annabeth was hanging things from the wall and putting things up. Until it was time for Percy to be there.

Percy walked up the driveway of Annabeth's house from his motorcycle. His mom had him do all sorts of things, apparently they were going to have Paul's family over next week and she needed help cleaning everything. Now he was just very happy of the prospect of cuddling with Annabeth and falling asleep to some cheesy film made in the 90's.

However when her walked in he was greeted by a weird sight. It was late out, almost 10 o'clock, but inside the house wasn't lit up with normal lights. Fairy lights were draped from the walls to light up different frames hung up containing something. Percy blinked then put his helmet down and looked at the things hanging up.

Each frame held a note, a scrap piece of paper with scrawled out messages.

His heartrate sped up.

He read them all.

Made his way down the hall and to the living room where the fairy lights also gave an enchanted forest type of lighting. On the coffee table was a huge piece of paper with a question on it.

'Do you like me? Check Yes or No.' Then two boxes were at the bottom.

Percy bit his lip. Around him, on the tables and the shelves where pictures, of a guy opening a locker. That messy black hair and green eyes damned him. But other pictures made him smile, pictures of him and Annabeth on the couch and laughing or at the park.

With a sigh Percy took a pen out of his jacket pocket, a blue pen that had written a lot of notes.

On the coffee table a hand-drawn picture framed and sat up.

This would damn him or make him the happiest man alive. Nothing else.

He checked yes.

That's when arms wrapped around his waist, hands locking over his stomach. Percy turned and saw Annabeth lean back. She wore the blue hoodie and had her hair down. She held her hands out to him and a note sat in it. The paper folded and creased like it had been read many, many times.

"I didn't fall for you, you fucking tripped me." Scrawled out on the paper. In blue ink.

"Wise Girl . . ." He didn't know what to say.

"Percy, let me just say one thing." Annabeth grabbed Percy's hands and folded the note into his hands. She looked at their entwined hands. "I didn't fall for you . . ." She started. Percy felt his heart sinking. "You fucking tripped me." She looked up and smiled at him.

He blinked.

Oh her plan went beautifully.

"What . . . " Percy was so confused.

"Seaweed Brain," Annabeth chuckled as she wrapped her pointer fingers into his side belt loops and pulled him closer. "You fucking tripped me."

"You might as well have pulled me down." Percy smiled and placed a hand on the back of Annabeth's head. "You and your plans . . . I guess one work huh?"

"Grover spilled the beans about you bribing him when I confronted him with the pictures my hidden camera caught." Annabeth raised an eyebrow.

"Damn it." Percy faked hurt. "That boy needs to learn to keep his mouth shut."

"Well, at that point his confession didn't mean much." Annabeth countered.

"A hidden camera really?" Percy teased.

"yeah, you have something to say about it?"

"Mmhmm." Percy pulled her closer and leaned in.

The kiss ended and made worlds. Energy crackled through them like a star being born. Nothing else mattered, would matter, or ever mattered in that moment. Soft and Sweet, needy and wanting, everything a first kiss should be.

Annabeth melted into Percy, their bodies fitting perfectly together as he cupped her head and her pulled at his shirt to pull him down to her. They both could be like this for eternity and wouldn't mind one bit.

It turned hungry, and passionate. Annabeth pushed Percy onto the couch, where he sat but dragged Annabeth down with him. She sat with one leg on either side of him as she wrapped her arms around his neck and ran her hands through his hair. Percy's hands roamed Annabeth's waist and hips, he trailed his kissed to her jaw, then neck, collar bones, then back up.

She arched her back as Percy kissed right under her jaw. Percy stayed there for a while before claiming her lips back. But Annabeth felt it was her turn, she made her way down his neck, and right about his collar bone was a place that made his grip on her tighten. She grinned up at him before continuing.

They only ended when they  both were panting.

This thing between them was so new, but felt like it had been there for their entire lives and before. This was meant to be, nothing else truly made sense-but this did. This thing-this love. They both tripped, but the other had been the one to do it.

And they were both more than happy to fall.
