"You want to make it perfect, I see." I faced up towards the fresh green leaves that danced with the wind. Our campus night lights were lit that cast a shimmering golden glow to the earthy surrounding.

He looked dazzled and I'm sure he teared up. Everything around me grew silent; I could only feel his short quick breaths, the loud thumping of his heartbeats that grew louder by the minute. The tears from the corner of his eyes were about to glide down his face when a heavy downpour drenched us completely from head to toe. Was my speech so heart-warming that even the sky couldn't hold back tears?

I could feel the droplets trickling on my skin, my lips quivered. Yet, I couldn't withdraw my gaze from Raj. He was motionless, with his hands wrapped around me his eyes stayed fixed within mine and, slowly I lost myself in him, we inched closer until our lips finally greeted each other.

A long passionate kiss lasted for a while until we grew breathless and broke out. There was no need to run for shelter, we were completely soaked, and it slowly stopped raining.

The Sun was retrieved from its hiding spot, and the clouds passed away, a single ray of sunshine fell in our direction.

Holding shoes in our hands, his guitar in another hand, we ambled towards the exit. All the way, a shy smile across our faces, neither of us were ready to meet eyes or exchange words.
