Chapter Twenty 

I DID SOMETHING BAD

3rd person pov 

"hi I talked to Bailey. I've got everything set up. where are Mindy and Ethan?" kirby asked

"they're five minutes behind us" danny said

"let's get you all inside" kirby explained and they all nodded as they walked to the theater together. 

"I cleared the whole place before you got here. So this is the only way in or out. He steps in through the first door, both doors doors locked, automatically trapping him inside. We turn it into a kill box" kirby said

"weapons?" sam asked

"one gun and I hold onto it. I am the only one with the badge here and that's the way it's gonna be. We're safe here." kirby told them

"I'm gonna check in with Mindy. see if they're close" Sam said and she walked off with the others following. tara, Sam and kai all removed their jackets as sam tried to call mindy but she didn't answer.

kai decided to walk around knowing that tara and chad were together and sam was walking around. kirby then disappeared and sams phone rang 

"kai! kirbys not in the FBI, she tricked you we have to go now" sam told her and kai ran to sam as they looked around and the lights turned off as stab 1 came on the film in front of them. 

kai and sam began to run around and they got to a door, when it opened there was tara and chad right now 

"come on, go, go, go" chad said and they all ran out 

"its kirby. shes the killer" sam said 

"no shit!" 

"that's locked come on" sam said

"are we trapped?" chad asked

"she did say that was the only way out of the theater did she not? She made the whole theater a box for us" kai said and tara looked up

"hey, what about that? there's an exit door" tara said and she pointed up

"maybe leads to a roof or something" she told them

"there's only one way to find out let's go" chad said

"baileys on the way but" sam began and ghostface jumped down attacking them and kai jumped back as she looked at them. he hit the mannequins and chad yelled out

"beheadings" making kai chuckle before she remembered their situation and chad speared him to the ground 

"smile for the camera, motherfucker" chad said and they all off with each other as they got back to where tara was attacked and he began to attacked chad. they all began to hit him

"go! go" chad yelled and they watched him get stabbed multiple times by two of them

"CHAD" kai cried and she tried to run to him but they stopped her and she stared into his eyes. 

"run, go" he told them and they ran off seeing one jump out of one side and another jump out of the other.

"ready? i need to be ready. ready?" sam asked and tara nodded with kai

"we're ready. come on motherfucker" she yelled and then they heard gunshots. they turned to see kirby

"its okay" kirby said

"stay the fuck back!" sam said

"we know its you kirby" tara stated

"one of them knocked me out" kirby tried

"kirby, stop! get away from the girls! What are you doing? Did you kill Quinn? Did you kill my daughter?" he asked

"jesus christ, whatever he's insane to you. Don't listen to him he's probably the killer. behind you!" she tried and he shot kirby. as the two ghostfaces walked up and stood behind sheriff bailey

there the ghostfaces were, standing in front of them and they all had one thought.

They all looked at Sheriff Bailey and the two Ghostface standing there in

"you?" tara asked

"yeah, of course me. Frankly, I expected more from the three of you after what you did to us." he said

"what do you mean us?" tara asked, causing ethan to remove his masks

"mindy was right. It was easy to drink the roommate lottery all I had to do to meet you was room with a conceited, condescending, alpha male literally name Chad. Fuck it felt good to kill him! This was your grandmother, Sam. nancy loomis? really runs in your fucking family, doesn't it?" ethan asked

"speaking of family my name is not Ethan Landry is a dad?" ethan asked

"dad?" tara exclaimed

"If it's too, that just leaves Mindy?" sam asked and the person removed their masks to unvail quinn

"hey, roomies" she said to them

"you didn't see that one coming, did you?" Quinn said

"yeah because you died" tara fought

"kind of didn't it was a good way to get off the suspect list. Stab gale Weathers, stab Mindy on the train, that sort of thing" quinn said

"yep and I made sure I was the first on scenes. We could switch her body out with the fresh one. Little fake blood , a prosthetic. You'd be amazed at what a grieving father can get away with" he told them

"I got stu machers mask. he was my favorite"quinn said 

"nice. that's number three. that's two. which leaves your fathers. This is what we've been counting down to Sam I'm gonna need you to put it on" he told her

"fuck you!' sam said and ethan sliced her arm

"what? what is this? you did this as family?" sam asked

"hell yeah, bitch! You should know better than anyone" quinn said

"they're still not getting it" ethan said

"I don't know what you believe, but I didn't commit those murders in Woodsboro. It wasn't me." sam said

"we know that of course you didn't you think this is based on some bullshit conspiracy theory? Come on. Who do you think started the rumors about you in the first place?" he asked

"do you know how easy it was to turn Sam from the hero of Woodsboro into the villain? How easy it is to convince the world to believe the worst in people rather than the best?" quinn fought

"because it's not enough to kill someone these days you have to assassinate their character first. So when he discovers your horribly mutilated bodies pose with Sam wearing her father's masks., he'll say some poor dumb bastard, right on the Internet, that you're the real ghost face, and took matters into their own diluted hands" ethan ranted

"exactly! that's why its the perfect alibi and all the best lies are based on the truth and you're a killer just like your father" he told her

"no, I'm not!" sam stated

"yes, you are, you motherfucker! you killed our brother!" quinn yelled and kai finally froze as she understood 

"richie. your brother is richie" kai said and they turned to her. ethan stabbed sam again and they ran 

tara and sam ran as tara grabbed a brick and he began to tell at them

"now! It wasn't until I saw that photograph of what you had actually done done to him that I knew. That I knew you had to fucking die, that you had to be punished along with anyone else that who stands in our way" sheriff bailey ranted

"there she is. there's the fucking killer" quinn said to sam

"great parenting job by the way" tara spoke

"shut your whore fucking mouth!" she yelled and she pushed tara making kai turn and punch her making a tooth come out and quinn spit it out

"you okay?" sam asked tara

"shit" tara said

"have I been a perfect dad? no. Have I maybe overindulged Richie's love of these little movies? yeah, maybe. for me they're just a little dark Richie really loved them. He loved them. He even made a few of his own. did you know? did you know?" he asked them and they watched the video

"there's a very special bond between a father and his first son which is why I helped him build this collection" he told them

"this was all his?" sam asked

"yeah, he's a very passionate collector, and he inspired others. We had to kill those two wannabe film students because well we had to kill you first Sam. I put the theater in their name, then good old detective Bailey would've just stumbled on it, but I didn't have to, by golly, that gale weathers is one hell of a journalist. I built the tribute to my son which is why this is why you have to die Sam surrounded by all the things he loved the most" he told her

"what happens next? after you're done with us you just disappear" sam asked

"no! We go to hurry over to the hospital and make sure Mindy and Gale. Don't pull through because everybody dies Sam. Everyone had anything to do with the death of my son, suffers and dies. Now put on the mask." he told her

"he was so pathetic. Yeah, your son he was a man-baby who had his girlfriend do all the killing. He was a limp little fuck, who cried before I slit his throat." sam told them

"shut the fuck up" quinn yelled and tara swung on her with the brick hitting in the fast and there was kirby. she shot them a few times and ethan jumped on her making sam hit him in the back of his face with the brick and he fell making sam grab the knife and they began to run off.

"we have to go"  kai told them and they went to the top and there was a gunshot. tara got shot and she almost fell to the ground

"I cant grab on. i cant grab on" tara said and ethan ran over.

"I always wanted to stick something in you , tara" he yelled and kai threw up in her mouth a little bit. then she looked at tara who was hanging and ethan downstairs 

"you have to let me go. let me go sam" tara told her as sam handed her the knife in her pocket and tara dropped. tara got stabbed in the stomach but she stabbed ethan in the throat. this made it possible for kai to grab the gun .

"looks like youre down another brother" sam told quinn and quinn ran at them but kai shot her in the head. this made it possible for detective bailey to see them and sam took the gun 

 "always got to shoot them in the head" sam said and she tried to shoot detective bailey but it didn't work. she ran at him and they both fell to the ground.

he was knocked out and sam stood up as she ran off and put on her fathers robe and mask. kai stood and waited as she watched tara talk to him on the phone and then it was over for him as sam attacked him from behind and killed them. she kept stabbing him over and over again as hard as she could.

then kai walked out with tara and looked at sam together

"my father was a murderer. no matter what you think, I'm better than that" sam said

"thank you" he said to them and tara tilted her head as dakota did too

"but you did fuck with our family so" sam said and they looked at his dead body.

"you okay?" sam asked them

"no" tara said and dakota hugged her as they went and sat down together. sam removed the robe and they sat there for a while together, then tara looked at kai and sam 

"ill let you two talk" tara told them and she got up leaving them there 

"hey kai? thanks for being here" she said 

"yeah of course id do anything for you. you know that" she said and sam grabbed the girls face as she kissed and kai kissed her back. there was passion and pain and fear and anger in them and between them 

after everything that happened, they finally had each other and that's what mattered to them in the end. they didn't pull away from 2-3 minutes just embraced in the other and not wanting to let go. the kiss was all the words that they wanted to say to each other but never got the chance too and this was it for them. 

"I love you kailani meeks-martin, i always have and i always will. I'm sorry i didn't say it before but I'm saying it now. will you be my girlfriend?" she asked 

"i love you too, of course ill be your girlfriend" she told her and sam smiled as she kissed her now girlfriend and they smiled into the kiss again. tara and kirby watched from afar with smiles on their faces and then the cops walked in and looked around. 

it was over, it was finally over. they walked outside and they watched kirby get put into the ambulance and then looked at tara 

"t, whats wrong?" kai asked 

"its just chad" tara said and kai froze. she nodded her head and made eye contact with tara before they saw chad being led out on a stretcher 

"oh thank god youre okay,  i would die if i lost you" kai told him and he smiled before they turned and saw midny running towards them and they all got into the ambulance again. 

"sam. coming?" tara asked her and they all watched. kai and sam now only had one thought
