Chapter Nineteen 

he wants to punish me

3rd person pov 

"I'm scared, you guys. i really don't want to get hurt again" mindy told them

"neither do i" chad stated

"i don't want you getting hurt again, either" mindy stated and dakota sighed sadly

"i know. i know" chad said and he leaned his head on her shoulder  as kai laid her head on sams and they all looked at each other

"so what are we doing now?" chad asked

"maybe he gets to win this time. he wants to punish me. me. So maybe I let him. I'll just give myself up if this is what I have to do to keep you safe, it's worth it" sam said

"no, we're not doing that, sam" tara fought

"yeah, I agree with Tara that's not happening"  kai said and sam looked at her

"you went back to Woodboro to protect me. Every single day, you make the decision to protect me. None of us would even be alive if it weren't for you. You have to let us protect you this time." tara stated

"no" sam said

"yes" tara exclaimed

"we're a team remember?" tara said and Mindy stood up

"actually, we're family" mindy exclaimed

"lets go! fabulous five! come on! come on " chad said and he put his hand in

"fabulous five " mindy agreed

"he's gonna keep coming after us" sam said

"isn't there somewhere safe we could just pull up in?" ethan finally spoke up

"no, he's gonna keep finding us" tara said

"great" ethan whispered

"we could use that though" tara told them and kai turned to her

"you look like you have a plan. Do you have a plan?" kai asked tara who looked at her and she nodded.

"we have to call Sheriff Bailey and it could end horribly and he could tell us no but I think this is the only way this could work" tara told them and kai nodded

"if this is truly the only way, then we have to do it, T" kai said and tara nodded as she grabbed her phone and called sheriff bailey. when he answered, kai could tell that he was mad and she didn't blame him.

"I'm getting my ass chewed out for not dropping the case and you want me to do what?" he asked them

"we want to lure him to a secure location and trap him inside"tara stated

"then what?" he asked

"we execute him, are you gonna help us?" tara asked

"lets kill this son of bitch. No, I'm stuck here, but Gale gave us the key cards to the theater. It's got heavy surveillance and security cameras, but we can use that against him. I'll tell kirby to meet you there. I'll join you as soon as I can. And remember travel in public." he told them

"got it" tara said

"the more people around you the less chance he has to take a shot at you before you get there" he told them and they all looked at each other. it was now a race against time and kai didn't like it. being in crowded public places and she thought about gale and how she was.

So now kai was wondering how and why they were going to a subway station where there could be multiple ghost faces and multiple people wearing ghost face masks. She knows that he said to travel in public but when you travel in public, there's more of a chance that killer could be there. There's more of a chance that the killer could hide among people and hurt you too.

kai got stuck on the subway with sam, chad, and tara as mindy and ethan got left behind and she was worried for the girl. ethan was a suspect to her in everyday and she knew that she shouldn't be alone with him.

kai stood next to sam and looked around. she noticed the masks of the people and she seethed but she didn't say anything. they needed to do this and if they weren't safe about it something bad could happen to them. 

"wheres mindy?" sam asked

"she missed the train. I was gonna wait for her but I kept getting pushed by people all around" he told her and kai sighed, that's when the lights began to flicker and kai turned to sam as she grabbed her hand 

"it's OK it's fine she's with Ethan. She'll meet us there." chad said as he looked at his phone and then around. they saw all the masks

"oh shit" chad said and they saw five ghostfaces masks

"how many stops do we have?" tara asked

"ten" sam replied and the train stopped as they saw a ghostface staring at them and sam made eye contact but then he was gone as other people got on.

"still nothing from mindy" chad said and the train stopped yet again

"guys?" sam said and he began to walk over them making kai step in front of her and chad looked at the women. he knew that kai would do anything to protect sam and she continued to prove that everyday now no matter what. 

the subway wasn't safe and they knew that. the people around them could hurt them, the world around them could hurt them and they knew what could happen if they didn't stick together. chad looked at kai because at least he had one sister with him and that's what mattered but they needed mindy 

maybe it was good that she wasn't with them but she didn't know that right now. 

when they got off the train, they knew what they had to do. question was would they do it?
