So....an official teaser poster was revealed for the sonic movie. It didnt yet show his face, only his silhouette... i swear to god i fucking called it. He would have fur and quills i said. His torso, arms, and legs would be more realistic i said. I called it.... and i fucking hate it XD He looks so freaking weird, ffs i prefer his design in that one fanfilm (to be fair though, i actually kinda do like the fanfilm design) And after inspecting the poster and reading some articles about it, i have A LOT of things to say and questions to ask....

1. Why are his fur and "quills" so fluffy? Wouldnt it be more slicked back and smoothed out than anything like a shorthaired dog's fur?

2. Why does he have blue fur on his arms? Shouldnt it be shaved down or the peach color?

3. Speaking of that, he has fur on his muzzle. Why are those parts furred anyway and not just skin?

4. Why are his quills so short and poofy?

5. Why do his legs look so short?

6. WHY ARE HIS LEGS SO THICC??

7. Why are his legs digitigrade and not plantigrade? (They actually arent digitigrade it just looked that way at first glance because of the pose so you can go ahead and ignore this)

8. Why are his arms so long and skinny compared to everything else?

9. Why does his muzzle look so weird and blocky?

10. Why are his shoes different? (This can partially be explained by the fact that his legs are digitigrade and so he would be standing on his toes and would probably have something more similar to paws, so his shoes would need to be smaller and shorter to fit. But even so, why??)

11. Why is he not wearing his gloves? (Unless he is and they're just really small and missing the cuffs.) And if he isnt wearing gloves, why are his hands furless?

12. It was implied in an article that sonic's eyes are going to be changed so theyre actually seperate for the sake of realism. Supposedly Sega and some of the designers werent too pleased about this, and i dont know how to feel about it yet. I guess it makes sense, but sonic's weird connected eye thing is kinda iconic.

13. What are the other characters gonna look like? Tails might be fine but what about unusual animals like knuckles? And are they gonna include characters like shadow, silver, or the chaotix? Or are they gonna keep it classic? (Although i feel like it would be cool to see shadow regardless, because lets be honest shadow looks epic regardless of the style or medium he's portrayed in)

14. Is.. is rouge gonna be in it?? What the fuck is she gonna look like?

15. How the fuck is sonic gonna fit into the human world? Is it gonna be a case of mobians and people exist together? Is it gonna be like the fan-film where mobians were extinct? Is it gonna be like sonic X where he was transported to earth by an accident of chaos control? And i still wanna know how he's gonna fit into the supposed plotline of being a troublemaker that befriends a human cop.

16. What are they gonna do to my poor blue boi's face-- HOW HIDEOUS IS HE GONNA BE--

Ok sorry for ranting about all this, i know most people dont care that much about this but i just wanna get my commentary out there and start discussions. Im still looking forward to the movie and im probably gonna see it in theaters when it comes out, but the more that is revealed the more i think about how much its probably gonna suck, or at the best be mediocre. Its kinda sad that such a popular gaming icon could end up spiraling downhill with this movie, but oh well.
