So a few days ago i just kinda got bored and started to draw and i ended up making up 2 ocs like on the spot. I honestly really like them, i decided to let myself go and have fun with their designs so they ended up super colorful and kinda cluttered... but i mean c'mon i like colors and i like these two so fite me (dont actually, ill lose)

This was the first picture i made of them, and the picture that i ended up playing around with until i ended up with the final result. They both have the same base lineart, because i mean they started as a bored doodle, a pre-planned picture would have more composition.

I drew them normally too in a more chibi cartoony style, without mirroring the lineart, except to get the face and eye shape right for both of them-

When i was first taking a shot at their designs and when i only had base ideas for colors, i wanted them to look like "same but opposites". They both have the same white markings and black hair/tails/paws, but they have opposing base colors of blue and pink. (before any people are like "but blue and red arent opposite colors" I know they arent, but red/pink and blue have always been the rival colors. Red vs blue. Red team and blue team. Its even used in classic character duos like sans and papyrus, or cuphead and mugman. Red is more wild and passionate, blue is calmer and quieter, and i wanted that to reflect in their characters.)

I kept the whole color contrasting thing going too, by emphasizing the orange and red in the blue one and emphasizing the green and yellow in the pink one by making it their eye colors, and im glad i made that decision cuz at first the pink one was gonna have orange eyes and the blue one went through a dark blue and green eyed phase AND LEMME TELL YA THAT WOULD HAVE LOOKED REALLY WEIRD

I feel like if i develop and gave them backstories they would be sisters that do everything together and have a really close relationship, because i love sibling bonds. Who doesnt?

And now if you made it through that impenetrable block of ramble, i have 2 things to ask of you guys.

1. I need name ideas ;-; i cant keep calling them "pink one" and "blue one" forever

And 2. Which of the two is your favorite? Im curious to know. I like both of them and cant choose a favorite between them tbh.
