I DARE YOU
I had this idea all of a sudden and decided to stop writing Butterflies just to get this done first.
I'll continue Butterflies soon though, don't panic.
Hope you like it!
I wrote it mostly in the train in my way to dance class and then in the bus returning home.
Love you!

I DARE YOU
[Harry's POV.]
"I dare you to go over there and stomp on that guy's foot."
"C'mon, that's so easy. Harry, you make the worst dares in the world."
Liam stood up from our booth and walked over to the guy at the bar, pretending to ask for a drink, he surreptitiously stomped on the guy's foot.
The guy seemed to curse at him but Liam shrugged it off and returned to us.
"Done."
"Liam, your turn." - Niall said, sipping on his beer.
"Can I choose Harry? I think he's drunk enough now."
"What?"
"Yeah, you can choose him." - Niall laughed.
"See that guy over there?" - Liam said, pointing to one of the booths in the corner.
The guy Liam was pointing at was sitting in the middle of a large group of friends and they were all laughing, drinking and minding their own business.
I frowned and turned to Liam again.
"What about him?"
"Do you think he's hot?"
I took another look at the guy, trying to see his features better.
Nice bone structure, really muscled arms, lots of tattoos on display, soft hair and really beautiful eyes.
"Sure." - I shrugged.
"Great. Now I dare you to go and tell him he's hot as fuck."
"What? Just like that?"
"Yeah."
"But he's with people around him."
"And?"
I growled and rolled my eyes.
"Fine."
I made my way through the dancing crowd until I reached the guy's table and stood up facing him.
The whole group of friends noticed my presence and turned to look at me in curiosity.
The blue eyed guy noticed my eyes on him and looked amused.
"Can I help you?" - He smiled, ignoring some of his friends' giggles.
"You're hot as fuck." - I said, and most of his friends burst into laughter.
He only smiled more and let out a little snort. His eyes twinkled in amusement and he shook his head as if he was trying to find the words to answer me.
I didn't give him a chance though, because I smiled at him and turned around, returning to my booth.
"Well, that seemed easy." - Liam said.
"It was awkward." - I huffed, sitting down and grabbing my beer again.
"What did he say?"
"Nothing." - I shrugged, gulping down my beer.
Liam rolled his eyes and looked mischievously at Niall.
"Niall, your turn." - Liam said.
"But it is my turn!" - I yelled.
"Not anymore." - Niall smiled at me. - "Harry, I dare you to go back and kiss that same guy."
"What?"
"Kiss him."
"On the lips." - Liam added.
"Guys! I can't do that. I won't."
"Why?"
"What if he has a girlfriend? What if his friends make fun of me? What if he doesn't like it and he hits me on the face?"
"He won't do that." - Liam rolled his eyes.
"It's just a kiss." - Niall said at the same time.
"Without consent! I can't just do it."
"So, you're out of the bet?" - Niall smirked. - "I can already feel the one hundred pounds in my pocket."
"But we agreed they would be easy dares."
"And this is easy." - Niall shrugged.
"I hate you both." - I huffed, standing up again. - "If he hits me, you better be there to defend me."
"Count on it." - Liam nodded with a smirk.
I took a deep breath and made my way back to their table with a decided step.
Of course the whole group turned to look at me in amusement, but I didn't stop to look at them, my eyes were only focused on the blue eyed guy.
He looked curiously at me, as if he was still trying to decipher what I was doing and my odd behavior, but he didn't look bothered, just… curious.
I bent over the table and grabbed him by the neck, pressing my lips against his' without hesitation.
A firm kiss and then I backed off.
He was startled, his eyes wide opened and his friends were shouting and wooing at us.
I smiled apologetically at him and turned back around, not missing him saying "what the fuck" under his breath.
I sat back at my table.
"Wow H, I didn't think you would do it."
"As if I would lose money to you." - I said and they laughed.
"Fair enough. Guess it's your turn."
"Finally. Niall, I dare you to…"
"Excuse me?" - A voice said from my side, I looked up and there he was. The hot guy I just kissed. - "I'm Louis. I don't know if you remember me, you just kissed me." - He smirked.
Niall and Liam laughed loudly and I wanted nothing more than to earth to swallow me.
"Yes… I'm Harry. Hi."
"It's nice to know your name, Harry." - He laughed. - "Now, will you tell me what happened back there?"
I looked at my friends, knowing I couldn't say it was a dare and then looked down at the floor.
"No."
"No?"
"God, we dared him to do it." - Liam confessed.
"Well that makes a little more sense." - He smiled and then moved to sit on my side of the booth. - "So, you saying that I was hot as fuck was a lie?"
"Uhm… it was a dare too." - I said shyly, not wanting to look him in the eye.
"That means you don't think I'm hot? I'm offended." - He joked.
"Of course I think you're hot." - I said immediately, looking up at him for the first time.
"Well in that case, Harry. Let me invite you for a drink."
"Uhm, sure." - I smiled.
"Come with me?" - He asked, pointing at the bar.
I nodded and followed him not before taking a last glance at my friends who were wiggling their eyebrows at me and making suggestive gestures.
I showed them my middle finger and walked behind Louis to the bar.
He found two stools at the corner and we both sat down.
"What do you want to drink?"
"Same thing you have."
"Okay then. Two pints please." - He gestured at the bartender who nodded and got to work. - "So Harry… are you from around?"
I laughed.
"Yeah, that's the best question you got?"
"You're really straight forward, aren't you?" - He laughed.
"Won't deny it."
"I like it." - He said, softly biting on his lower lip.
"So, I get that you're single, right?" - I raised an eyebrow at him, a little smirk showing on my face.
"Right."
The bartender placed the two pints in front of us and Louis took the first sip, my eyes fixed on his lips as he swallowed the liquid.
When he returned to pay attention to me, I brushed my tongue over my lip, staring intensely at him.
"You don't have to do that, you know?" - He said.
"Do what?" - I asked, playing foolish and sipping on my beer.
"Try to seduce me." - He whispered, leaning over my ear.
"Why? God, please don't tell me you want to be just friends." - I joked and he laughed.
"No. I would be too stupid if I let you go with another guy."
"You definitely would." - I smirked, leaning closer and placing a hand on his knee.
"You don't have to seduce me, because I already believe you're the most gorgeous guy in here."
I hummed into his ear and prowled my lips on the side of his neck.
I let out a bit of my breath against his skin and tilted my chin up to suck a bruise on his jaw. Then, I slowly backed off and took my beer again as if nothing had happened.
"You little shit." - He huffed.
I laughed and almost choked on the liquid I was gulping.
I awkwardly started to cough to recover from it.
"Are you okay?" - He asked, clearly concerned now, placing a hand on my back.
"Fine, yeah." - I breathed out.
He ran his hand up and down my back for a few seconds, staring at me fondly and then nodded to himself.
"Do you want to head out?"
"Are you taking me home?" - I raised an eyebrow, amused.
"Nope. I'm taking you somewhere else."
"Where?"
"If I tell you it'll ruin the surprise." - He grinned.
"I'll let my friends know we're leaving."
🍺
When I found Louis outside the bar again he gently offered me his hand and I giggled at the gesture, intertwining my fingers with his' and following his lead.
"I thought we could go by foot to clear our minds from alcohol a little. Is that okay?" - He asked and I nodded.
"So, I guess you don't want to fuck me while drunk, that's very honorable from you." - I joked.
"I'm not that type, Harry." - He laughed.
"I see that." - I smiled, bumping his shoulder with mine as we kept walking to the centre.
Our hands swang together in between our bodies for the rest of the walk.
We kept the small conversation going, laughing along the way until Louis made me stop in front of a huge carrousel in the main park of the city.
"A carrousel?" - I laughed.
"Yeah." - He shrugged.
"But it's past midnight." - I said, looking around and noticing it didn't have any light on and nobody was at the cabin either.
"Good thing I have the keys." - He smiled.
"What? How?"
Louis laughed and took out the keys, opening the cabin.
"My mother owns it." - He shrugged again. - "Me and my sisters always wanted to be here while we were growing up, so she ended up buying it for us." - He explained as he turned the lights of the carrousel on. - "But of course she keeps it working the rest of the week for everyone else."
"That's so cool. My mother once bought me a pair of sneakers with wheels, that's the most exciting thing ever happened to me."
"I prefer my carousel." - He laughed. - "C'mon." - He said, pushing me to the big structure.
Louis put music on the speakers and suddenly Ed Sheeran was sounding in the background. Then he pressed a button and the carrousel started moving.
"Ed Sheeran? Really? That's your move?" - I laughed.
"You're really hard to impress, aren't you?"
"You're being quite predictable." - I joked.
"Oh shut up, I bet my car that no one ever took you out to a carousel after midnight."
"That's true, you're my first."
"Yes!" - He exclaimed, punching the air, causing me to giggle.
He took a last glance at me and then jumped on the moving carousel.
"Hey!"
"Jump!" - He screamed at me as he disappeared behind the plastic animals and the carousel kept spinning.
I huffed and did as he told me, jumping and helping me up with one of the poles.
Louis was nowhere to be seen so I started walking around the animals to find him, he was sitting in the spinning teacup and looking mischievously at me.
"I don't believe that's the smartest idea after drinking that much beer." - I said, laughing at him.
"Get in with me!" - He shouted as he spinned.
"Nope. I want to live past tonight, thank you."
I turned around and got on one of the rainbow horses behind the teacup.
"No, don't get on that one." - Louis said while pouting.
"Why not?" - I said as the horse went up and down.
"Because that's my favorite." - He pouted again, stopping the teacup and stumbling towards me.
"Yeah well, I love riding so." - I shrugged, making him cackle.
"You really are straight forward. Damn."
"You like it."
He sighed and nodded, placing a hand on my leg and leaning towards me.
Once the horse went back down again, Louis kissed me.
And it was a real kiss this time.
One of those kisses that makes the whole world stop in its axis.
I hummed and relaxed under his touch. One of his hands pampered my leg while the other pulled me down by my neck.
Because even if we were kissing, the horse kept moving and causing us to stretch a little every time it went up.
But I didn't care.
This was too good to be stopped.
We followed each other's motion, slipping our tongues and letting ourselves melt into the feeling of touching and sensing one another.
Louis slowed down his rhythm until we fully stopped to catch our breath.
"You can tell the owner of this place that the service is great." - I whispered. - "I think I could kiss you for the rest of the night and I wouldn't have any complaints."
Louis laughed and captured my lips again.
"You're an idiot."
I got down of the plastic horse and placed my hands around his neck, pulling him even closer to deepen the kiss.
To feel him everywhere.
"Would you like to go back to my place?" - I smirked.
"I think… that as much as I would love that. I prefer to get your number and take you out on a proper date."
"Such a gentleman." - I smiled.
"I try my best." - He said, tracing circles on my hip bones.
"So, phone number, date, and…?"
"And anything you want."
"You. I want you."
"Then so be it."
🍺
A few months down the road.
"Harry?"
"I'm here!" - I shouted from my room.
"Are you ready?" - Niall asked, running into my room.
"For what?" - I asked, turning off the tv.
"To go out."
"No, I don't think I'm going, mate."
"What? Why?"
"Because Louis is coming over tonight. I told you."
"And what? He can come with us!"
"We are fine with staying in."
"Oh, you're already in that phase when you speak as if you both are one person, huh?"
"Any problem with that?"
"You little bastard, should actually thank me. You wouldn't even have a boyfriend if it wasn't for me in the first place."
"Stop bringing that up. I get it. Thank you." - I huffed, turning the tv back on.
"Should I thank him too?" - Louis' voice came from the hallway and seconds later he showed up in my room too.
"You'll only grow his ego." - I said and Louis laughed.
He crawled in bed and stopped in front of me, pecking my lips softly.
"Hi babe." - He whispered.
"Hi." - I whispered back, kissing his lips once more.
"So, what does he want now?" - Louis asked, collapsing in bed next to me.
"I want to get you both to come to the bar with us and have fun!"
"And I told him that we would stay here."
"You have something planned for tonight?" - Louis asked me.
"Fuck?" - I joked and he laughed.
"Sure." - He rolled his eyes.
"Oh c'mon! You guys can have so much fun with us! We can even play dares again. Like the night you two met. You know, thanks to me." - He smirked.
"We'll never see the end of it, will we?" - Louis asked me and I shook my head.
I turned to my side and wrapped an arm around my boyfriend's torso, closing my eyes and burying my face in the crock of his neck.
He accommodated one of his hands on my lower back and his fingers tickled under my shirt.
I hummed in approval and he kept making traces on my back.
"You can go now, Niall." - I mumbled without lifting my head from Louis' neck.
"No! C'mon I want you both there with Liam and I!"
"Sorry bud." - Louis said.
"Okay, what about we put two hundred on the table? Would you think about it?"
"Two hundred for what?" - Louis asked him.
"The winner of the dares wins two hundred dollars from each of the losers."
"Woah." - Louis exclaimed.
"No, don't fall on his tramp. He never paid me the last one."
"That's because you abandoned the game."
"Because this hot guy invited me for a drink. I guess I won nevertheless." - I said, smiling up at Louis who grinned back at me, kissing my lips.
"I dare you both to get out of bed and come with me to the bar." - Niall said. - "If you don't do It, you'll owe me two hundred each."
I growled and rolled my eyes.
"Do you want to, baby?" - I asked Louis and he shrugged.
"Maybe just a few drinks."
"Fine. We're going."
🍺
Liam had booked a table for the four of us and he started ordering our pints and a plate of fries the second we arrived there.
We started with some easy dares, like drinking the beer in one go, dancing with a stranger, asking for an embarrassing drink, dancing shirtless in the middle of the dancefloor, and other stuff not so severe.
But after the fifth pint, we were a bit tipsy and everything went down.
"I dare you to go kiss that girl's shoe." - Louis said to Liam.
Liam laughed but went towards her and in a matter of seconds he was being kicked in the face.
We laughed a lot while he apologized and returned to us.
"My face hurts." - He said, putting his cold pint on his face.
"We can see that." - I laughed. - "Your turn, Li." - I said, leaning my head to Louis and stealing a little peck from him, causing him to smile.
"I dare you, Harry. To go to the bar and ask for the bartender's number."
"But I don't want his number."
"But he doesn't know that."
I looked at Louis and he nodded.
"You okay with it?" - I asked him.
"Yeah, it's fine. Come back to me after." - He grinned, kissing my forehead. - "We are winning, babe."
I laughed and stood up, showing Liam my middle finger in the process.
The bartender was quite busy, but I managed to lean over the bar and catch his attention.
He smiled smugly at me and winked.
I bit my lip, trying to hide my disgust and put on my best actor face.
"Hey handsome, can I get you a drink?" - He asked.
"Only if it comes with your number."
He nodded in surprise and then prepared me a pint, sliding a written napkin on the side of it.
I took it and with a last wink, I returned to the guys, giving Liam the napkin.
"All yours." - I rolled my eyes, finding my spot back under Louis' arm.
Louis kissed the side of my head and the round of dares continued.
Niall was dared to stand up on a table and shout that Manchester City was better than United, earning a few yells from some football fans, but nothing big.
Then Louis was dared to take a girl out to dance, which got a little under my nerves, but I survived, and then Liam had to tell a really bad joke and make at least five people laugh.
That was a long one.
And just like that it was my turn again, but this time Louis was the one picking my dare.
"Babe."
"Mhm?"
"I want you to go back to that bartender and tell him that you're not going to call him ever, because someone told you he has a small dick."
"Lou." - I laughed. - "I can't tell him that, he's going to punch me."
"He won't. You're too pretty to be punched." - Louis grinned, lifting my hand to his lips and kissing my knuckles.
I bit my lip in worry, but eventually nodded and made my way back to the bar, seeing that the crowd was already calmer and the bartender was openly flirting with two girls.
I sat next to them on a stool and smiled at him.
"Hey darling." - I slurred. - "You remember me? I asked for your number earlier. But you know what, someone told me something about you. And that's that you have a tiny tiny dick." - I smiled. - "So, you know girls, don't go home with this one." - I laughed.
But suddenly I felt him grabbing me by the neck of my shirt and causing me to gasp for air.
"What the fuck did you just say to me?"
"I… I… I said…" - I mumbled, trying to breathe now that he had let go of my shirt a little.
But the relief didn't last long, because it was only to punch me right in the face.
I stumbled back and he jumped over the bar to grip my shirt again.
"So you wanted to ask for my number only to embarrass me later, you shit!" - He said, almost choking me with his hands around my neck.
Then, Louis appeared to punch him square in the face, making the guy let go of me, which made me end up on the floor.
I tried to stand up while Louis punched him over and over, screaming things at him for hurting me. He was defending me.
But the bartender didn't care, he just continued punching Louis every time he could until security showed up.
🍺
"We're not playing that game ever again." - I mumbled once we got kicked out of the bar.
"It was alright the first time. Today was a mess." - Liam said.
"You know what they say, second parts are never good."
"And no one ever gets to win the money either." - Niall huffed. - "it's always Harry's fault."
"Don't blame this on him." - Louis said, protectively placing an arm around my waist and pulling me closer to him. - "That guy had no right to attack my baby."
"I kinda told him he had a tiny dick." - I laughed.
"It doesn't matter. It wasn't an excuse." - He frowned.
"Maybe. But nothing happened to me, because you were there." - I smirked, leaning down and biting on his lower lip.
I nuzzled my nose on his neck and my lips prowled all over his skin, licking and sucking on the sharp veins of his neck.
My hands grabbed him by his arse and kept him still so I could work my mouth in his neck, kissing, sucking and marking him as mine.
"Harry, wait until we get home, babe." - He said, tugging on my hair.
"No."
"God, please don't have sex in front of us." - Niall begged, already taking his phone to call a cab.
"Nothing you haven't heard or seen before." - I said, capturing Louis' lips and slipping my tongue inside for a short make out session until the cab showed up.
Louis had to practically push me inside the backseat of the cab next to Niall, and even inside the car, I clung to Louis' side, kissing all over his face and leaving a few more bruises on his neck.
"You're so eager, baby."
"Well, you were the one dancing with another girl, I'm just getting back what's mine." - I said, making him laugh.
"It was only a stupid dance, you saw it, I didn't even touched her."
"I know." - I smiled. - "You're too in love with me."
"I am."
"But I'm still making sure everyone else knows you're mine only, at least until I have to make new marks." - I said, returning to kiss down his throat and nibble on his skin.
"Fine. I'm yours, babe."
"Liam…" - Niall trailed. - "I'm regretting getting these two together now."
"Me too." - Liam said from the passenger seat.
"Too bad." - Louis said, wrapping both of his arms around me.
"We're too hot together to ever break up." - I said.
"God, I hate them." - Niall said again.
I smiled up at my boyfriend and kissed his lips tenderly.
"Niall, Liam, I dare you both to shut the fuck up." - I said sharply, never getting my eyes out of Louis'.
He was too gorgeous to ever stop looking at him.
Nobody else deserved my attention if he was in the same room or place as I was.
He had me caught the very second he came back to my table for an explanation and thank God he did.
Because I don't remember my life before him, and I surely don't want to know a life after him.
We were too good to be true.
And it was fucking awesome.
