My Best Friend.
Yuukah P.O.V.
(If you guess the song, you get an oc in my book! As one of my friends from America....)
"Just a kid from the neighbourhood
We're all kids from a neighbourhood
Take it back to '96
I fall asleep with the radio on, turn my pillow to the fresh side
Fall asleep ol' sleepy eye
I don't dream big, just the right size
That modesty comes from my mom's side. you ever heard of a soft touch?
You ever heard of a finger roll?
A little sun, a little rain drop
And you watch this thing grow follow me like a firefly
At midnight in mid-July
Mix some blood, sweat, and tears of joy
That's what I call a rally cry. relentless
Like a dog on a bone
We got gas in the tank to go all night
We got gas in the tank to go all night
Relentless
We don't walk alone
Relentless
It's time to get to work, now let's get goin'
Woo!
Woo!I was hopeless, I was restless
On the spinning wheel of fate
I met a man with a tattoo
In the shape of his home state He said his past was complicated
Both mourned and celebrated
Take a minute to get fascinated
Right here right now, and you're liberated Relentless
Like a dog on a bone
We got gas in the tank to go all night
We got gas in the tank to go all night
Relentless
We don't walk alone
Relentless
It's time to get to work, now let's get goin'
Woo!
Relentless!
Woo!
Woo!You call my name (call my name)
From the front porch (front porch)
And I'll come running home to you (home to you)
You call my name (call my name)
And I came running, running, running, running
Running, running, running, running
Running on home to you (relentless)Just a kid from the neighbourhood
We're all kids from a neighbourhood
Take me back to '96
I fall asleep with the radio on I'll be ready come the daylight
I woke up saying, "It's about time" Relentless
Like a dog on a bone
We got gas in the tank to go all night
We got gas in the tank to go all night
Relentless
We don't walk alone
Relentless
It's time to get to work, now let's get goin'
Relentless
Like a dog on a bone
We got gas in the tank to go all night
We got gas in the tank to go all night
Relentless
We don't walk alone
Relentless
It's time to get to work, now let's get goin'
Woo!" I sang along to one of my favorite songs, by Arkells. My Phone pinged, just as it ended.

Shoto Todoroki

Shoto Todoroki

"Meh." I tossed my phone backwards onto my bed. I rooted through my closet.
Bzzt Bzzt, Bzzt Bzzt, Bzzt Bzzt.
I answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Yuukah, right?"
"Yeah, but how did you get my number?"
"I'm Chargebolt. It's pretty damn easy."
"Okayyyyyy. But, who's Chargebolt?"
"Ugh, nevermind."
"Okay, well until I know you, and have met you face to face, don't call my number. Buh-bye!" I hung up.
"YUUKAH! IT'S HERE!" Mom yelled.
"MY LETTER?!"
"YEAH."
"COMING!" I ran down the stairs at full speed. "Let's see it. This isn't the first time you've used that to get me down here for nothing."
She threw the letter to me.
"Huh. Okay, I'll be down in fifteen minutes, give or take." I took the envelope up with me.
~Time Skip~
"MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM!" I cheered. "I GOT IN! I'M IN UA!"
"Well done honey!" She didn't look up.
"Mom! I. Got. In. To. UA. Like, are you even listening?" I snapped.
"Watch the attitude, and yes, I'm listening."
"Ugh, whatever. I'm going to get my uniform." I waved goodbye. It was 4:40 pm, on a Friday, so, I was bound to run into my brother, right?
No. Not my brother.
"H-hey! I-I can't remember your name! I'm sorry!" I bowed bashfully.
"Chargebolt." Chargebolt!
"Y-you! You called me earlier!" I pointed at him.
"Yeah? So what if I did?" He laughed.
"I guess, I guess you can contact me again!" I laughed too.
"So, did you get in?"
"In?" I asked. "Oh right! Into UA! Yeah, I did. I'm actually going to get my uniform now!"
"What size are you? I was supposed to give a girl her uniform." He blushed.
"M-medium." I blushed in embarassment. I'm not sure if it's cause I'm too small, or I'm too big.
"That's what I have here!" We both burst out in laughter. We laughed our asses off for about 5 minutes, then straightening up, he asked me if I wanted to come to his place for a bit.
"Ehhhhh, how about my house?" I asked, not really wanting to meet his folks.
"Okay!" He smiled. We walked along side each other, laughing and talking about random ass shit, and soon, we were at my house.
"Mom! I'm home!" I called. "I have someone here that I want you to meet too!"
"Coming!" She responded. "Oh hello there--"
"Kaminari." He finished.
"GOD FUCKING DAMMIT PIKACHU! WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOUSE?!" Katsuki raged.
"LANGUAGE!" Mom yelled.
"Hey Chargebolt. Wanna smash?" I asked. Confusion and excitement lit up his face. Then he noticed the nintendo switch behind me, and then sadness. But it didn't keep him in a moody state though. He pulled his own switch from his bag and we set up a private arena. I took my own switch and kicked his ass.
"HOW?! NOBODY'S EVER BEAT ME BEFORE!" He hollered.
"Eh, I have no friends."
"Yeah, well, now you do." Denki rebuked.
"Yo, you wanna hear some guitar?" I thought aloud.
"Sure?" He hesitated.
"Alright. Let me get my guitar and sheet music."
I picked my song. Cynical Bastards by Arkells. I grabbed my guitar and headed back downstairs.
"Sweet guitar!" He complimented.
My guitar looked like this:
"Thanks, but are you ready? It's kinda sloppy, but eh."
"Yes!" He declared.
"Alright.
Now I don't disagree, it's a hell of a scene
Jackson Square dropouts avoiding the police
If the 80's were tough, the 90's were mean
All that was left for the desperate
Were these fast cash machine
That easy money never helped anybody
With that kind of juice
Man, it ain't worth the squeeze
But month by month I feel a change in the breeze
So start moving on make your own history
If you want me to boil it down, all you cynical bastards, get out town now
If you want me to boil it down, all you cynical bastards, move a little faster
Some people can't shake the weight of the past
Some people's hearts remain at half-mast
It's downtown where it all intersects
Some came down from the mountains
College kids from the west
And not every suit kites right through their teeth
There's good and there's bad, and then there's some in between
As I wait for the bus coming from the east
There's generations of pride and elbow grease
If you want me to boil it down, all you cynical bastards, get out town now
If you want me to boil it down, all you cynical bastards, move a little faster
I understand if it's all a bit much, it's a bit of a circus; it's a little bit rough
I heard this place was run by the mob, buying everyone off down at city hall
Those Oakville moms, they stick up their nose.
Those Burlington dads keep their daughters at home
If you're the kind with nothing to say
You heard about this party, but you're praying for rain
If you want me to boil it down, all you cynical bastards, get out town now
If you want me to boil it down, all you cynical bastards, move a little faster
Move a little faster
Move a little faster
Move a little faster
Move a little faster" I sang out.
"W-wow! That was amazing!" He smiled.
"Th-thanks!" I grinned.
A/N: It was over 1000 words! It was 1291! Im so proud of myself!
