Emma's POV

After the classes ended I started ambling towards my locker with Sophia. She was babbling about the latest Series she had watched on Netflix. While I was just casually sauntering, roaming my eyes here and there.

At the corner of the hall was standing Jackson. He was the boy who had a fight with Lucas. According to the latest gossips going around the Campus Lucas and Jackson had been suspended for One week for breaking the discipline of the University.

With Jackson, there was another person who was bickering with him on some matter. She is the hottest personality of the whole College currently, None other than--- 'Ruby'.

All the boys drool over her, but unfortunately she is taken. Yup she is Jackson's girlfriend.

"I just don't understand why do all boys like her. What does she have in her. Just look at her, her whole face is powdered with Cake." Sophia blurted out, and that too quite loudly.

"Calm down Sophia. Let's go." I whispered without making any scene further.

"Well is everything okay with Lucas. I mean he doesn't misbehave with you right? She asked.

"Yup everything is okay. Yes he is sometimes rude and blunt, but he is also caring. And about misbehaving, yes he tries to flirt but I guess he knows his limits."

"Frankly speaking I am shocked actually. There is a huge queue of girls after him, but he hasn't even once talked properly with any girl including that cake powder. But you--- I guess you are an exception. Neither any of the girls has sat on his bike with him, nor he has shown a bit concern for anyone. I don't care about him, but I just want you to be safe okay."

She muttered and took me in her arms. Oh, God! how glad I am to have a Friend like her.

"Okay okay--- Enough for today. Let's go." Sophia Chuckled.

After saying bye to Sophia. I made my way towards the parking area.

"Hey"

I hear Lucas and see him walk over.

He was wearing white t-shirt, black fitted jeans and black jacket. God he was looking absolutely handsome---------- what the hell are you thinking, Emma. No shit. He is a big meanie nothing else.

"Thinking about me sweetie?"
This arrogant jerk. I mentally groaned.

"Do you really think this whole world revolves around you. If that's the case then you are wrong Mr." I reverted back.

" I see, you have a got a big mouth here." He pushed the helmet in my hands for me and made his way to his bike.

I silently followed him and sat on the bike. This is the second time I am riding on his bike. I have never been on a bike. My first time was few days back with Lucas only. Gosh this really feels amazing. I raised my arms and spread them as if I am ready to take off. I smiled when the air touched my face. I could see Lucas smiling through the rear mirror. But why? Why was he smiling?

After sometime we reached his home which was not less than a Mansion.

Lucas POV

I parked my bike in the parking and we both made our way inside my home. Well to be frank it was just a big Mansion nothing like a home. My parents were always on there business tours leaving me with four walls. I opened the door and asked Emma to come inside. She was clearly a bit hesitant. I remember last time she ran away from my home when i asked her to drop and now also she is standing as if she has been punished.

"Emma you can sit you know. These things won't bite you so just calm down." I said.

"So, what would you like to have?"

"Nothing." She was quick to reply.

"Okay so I guess we'll have two coffee." I quickly went inside the kitchen and started making coffee. Meanwhile I could see she was still siting in a very rigid manner. God what is wrong with this girl. Can't she relax.

"Okay so here's your coffee."
I handed her the cup and sat besides her. She was still staring at the cup as if it will go inside in her stomach on her own.

"Emma you have to drink it, this can't go inside you on your own." She mumbled something incoherently and sipped the coffee.

"Aaaaa it's so hot." Emma shrieked.

"Yaaa are you okay? Shh- relax." I was quick to hold her hand and put the cup down. I could see her blush because of our close proximity.

She moved back and pushed her hairs behind her ears.

She cleared her throat and said "Why were you fighting with Jackson."

I was astonished by her sudden question. Well I guess this was going to come sooner or later.

"Uh- Emma actually I--I um, well he thought that I was trying to flirt with his girlfriend so he started that fight with me. But trust me I don't like that girl why would I flirt with her. She is just a-------"

"Don't say foul words." Emma quickly interrupted me, making me Chuckle.

" Foul words?" I raised my eyebrows while smiling fondly at her.

"Well well look who's here." someone yelled making Emma startle.

"Oh oh The crybaby is over here." Thomas said making me frown.I could sense Emma was feeling down.

"Thomas don't call her That." I growled. "What are you guys doing here don't you have work."

"Ya is this the way to talk with your friends. We thought you love us." Jack fake cried.

"Ya ya shut up you all-----" I was about to reply but was interrupted by little giggles.

Emma was giggling at Jack's fake acting. Wow her giggles were the best sound I have ever heard. They are just similar to like a baby.

"Well okay everyone so I am hungry let's order some thing." Thomas said.

"No I wanna eat something healthy, i wanna eat home-made food." Jack pouted.

"Oh if that's the case then make it on your own." Kevin replied.

"I--I can make something if you like." Emma replied.

"Would you? Really?" Jack asked surprisingly.

"Yes" she again replied but this time smiling lightly.

"Okay. So it's done, Emma would make us dinner." Jack started jumping like a child.

"Emma is it okay with you, I mean we can order pizza." I said.

"It's okay I would love to make something." She quietly said and made her way towards the kitchen.

"Fine but let me also help you."

"No- no, you start the project and then I would join you. We also have to complete our work. So go." She pushed me out and started her work.

After some Time

The dinner was set on the tables and we all gathered around it. Jack quickly served himself and tasted the food.

"Ummmmm Wow Emma this is so yummy." He said.

"Yes he is right it's delicious." Kevin added.

Emma smiled and ate her own food. We all indulged in little bit talks and ate our food.

"Okay bye everyone." Emma waved at the boys and went out. "Okay I'll just drop her and return." You guys carry on.

"Coom soon, just drop her and return okay." I could gaurante this was Jack. This jerk.

We both sat on the bike and made our way towards Emma's house. The whole ride she was silent. She suddenly asked me to stop making me confuse.

"My house is just five minutes away. You can go." She was quick to say and rushed towards right side making me hell lot of confuse.
