for the first time in my life, I felt alive. I looked at my prey. a small rabbit. not much for such a wolf as me. so graceful, so elegant, so deadly. as silent as can be and black as night I overtook my prey easily. it felt so good. Orphan or not i felt like I now had a calling, a strange world to which now i belonged. it was invigorating. so real, so true that i wanted to let others feel the same way. i looked back at my glossy black pelt. and then i saw, Her.  Her name was Orchid and she was gorgeous. her pelt as white as the moon. her eyes brilliant blue. but where had she come from? As quietly as Orchid had come, I was now surrounded by werewolves of every color, except black.

" look Sir, a black one," said a silver male that the alpha referred to as Star.

" Oh! I've never seen a black one before! How beautiful! Look at that coat!" said a buckskin wolf called Pep.

" How gorgeous! but how? we never bit anyone. not for a thousand years!" said Orchid, " Father? what do you think?"

" He was born like this. he just now discovered his powers. but, his FANGS!" said the alpha whose name was Skye. 

" His Fangs, Sir? what... Oh My God! they're HUGE! What does it mean Sir?" said a small brown wolf called Dust.

" It means this is the offspring of werewolves... and vampires." said Skye.

" VAMPIRES?!" Everyone shrieked.

" yes, this boy..." he looked at his pack, " Is Moonfur's son."

" MoonFur? Moonfur had a son? and.. and... this PUP is her son? HOW?!" Said Dust.

" Well, obviously this boy's father was a vampire." said Skye.

" Don't talk about my father, he was a werewolf just like you. His name was Sapphire."

The wolf pack fell silent.
