"Mom are you sure we have to do this?" I asked from the back seat.

"Yes dear. We are." She replied.

"Dad?" I asked hoping he'd have a different answer.

"Sorry kiddo." He said.

"Ugh!" I said flopping back in my seat.

We were on our way to the airport to drop me off. I was flying alone and actually a little nervous. I was flying Cincinnati to L.A so there were two flights. we pulled pulled up to the huge parking lot. We grabbed my bags and headed in

"Bye sweetie I love you. I'm gonna miss you." My mom said hugging me and tearing up.

"You know if your gonna miss me I can come with you.." I said but was ignored. We said more goodbyes and I boarded my plane.

I stood in the airport feeling really stupid. I had no idea what this guy even looked like so I was really hoping he knew what I looked like. I sat on a bench patiently waiting finally a man with dark hair and glasses came up and tapped my shoulder.
"Are you (Y/N)?" He asked kindly.

"Uh yeah are you Mark?" I asked.

"Yes ma'am." He said helping me with my bags.
We went out to his car. He sat down and looked at me.
"My god you look different." He said staring at me.

"Really cause I'm still waiting for the day when puberty gets its job done..." I said sarcastically mostly referring to my small boobs.
He chuckled and I shrugged my shoulders.
"You must be hungry. You wanna get some food?" He asked

"Yeah do you care if we go to the drive through some where I'm kinda tired." I said.

"Sure that's fine."

We ended up just going to McDonald's. We were walking down the hallway to his apartment. He unlocked it and we went inside.

"Let me show you to your room." He said guiding me to my room (lol obviously)

It was a good sized room with a full sized bed I small walk in closet. That was good enough for me. I laid down on the bed curling up in a ball.

"You okay?" He asked sitting down next to me.

"Yeah I just wanna be left alone right now..." I said quietly.

"Look I know this probably isn't what you wanted but I'll try to make things work-"

"I-I just wanna be alone right now. Please?"

"Yeah sure." He said walking out and closing the door.

I lay there thinking. I can't believe this is gonna be my summer.

I must've been pretty tired because I woke up the next morning in my same clothes but with a blanket over me. I looked at the time on my phone, it was 1 p.m. I mean I sleep in but I've never slept in this late before. Then I realized different time zones. I noticed I had multiple texts from (y/ff) asking to Skype. I remembered my laptop was in one of my bags I left in the kitchen. I stood up. Luckily walking past a mirror noticing I looked horrific. I through my hair up in a ponytail and put on a pair of shorts and a t shirt.
I walked out to see Mark on the couch watching tv.
"Hello." He said

"Hi." I said quietly

I grabbed my laptop and sat down in a chair I also grabbed ear buds and plugged them into my laptop and called (y/ff).
"(Y/N)!!!! I missed you!!" She exclaimed.

"I've been gone for like a day." I said laughing.

"I know but I still missed you! So anyway where is this Mark guy?"
I tilted the camera so she would be able to see him because he was in the kitchen behind me. At that moment I guess I must've accidentally pulled out the cord from my ear buds because the sound of her voice filled the room. Perfect timing too because she responded with
"OMIGOD HES HOT!"
That caused Mark to whip around and caused me to burst out laughing. She starred at me confused. I held up the cord that wasn't plugged into anything. She slammed her head down on her desk.
"Why? Why are you such a bitch?" She asked not lifting her head.

"I love you tooooo." I said trying to be cute.
Mark walked over to me
"Who's your friend there?" He asked laughing.

"This is (y/ff)." I said.
She lifted her head and glared at me.

"I hate you." She said.

"She loves me." I said to Mark.

"Hey I have to go we're going shopping bye I love you!" She said

"I love you too!"

And with that I hung up.

"Sorry if you find this rude or whatever buts 1 o clock on a Tuesday don't you go to work or something?" I asked

"Oh uhm I'm a youtuber and people like my videos so much that I get payed to make videos." He said

"Oh so you like never leave here."
I asked causing him to chuckle.

"Where I "work" which I really don't like to refer to it as that is right down that hallway. But I leave sometimes for different things." He said.

"Oh no wonder my parents sent me here so you'd be watching me like every second of my life."

"Nah I'll give you the freedom to do some stuff."

"Doesn't matter. I don't know any one here anyway."

"You can meet people."

"Ew."

"What?"

"I have like literally four friends back home, I'm not very good at meeting people."

"Oh."
There was a bit of awkward silence.

"Oh yeah feel free to help yourself to any food." He said
I literally jumped off the couch and ran to the fridge. I grabbed some food and sat back down on the couch.

"What do you do on YouTube?" I asked with a mouthful.

"I'm a gamer." Mark said

I nodded.

"Hey this may be random but when you were little and I used to babysit you, you had this blanket thing that like never left your side do you still have that?" He asked.

"Hell yes I still have it!" I said laughing.

"Wasn't I wonderful child?" I asked sarcastically.

"Ha! You were a cute one but I wouldn't say you were wonderful..."

"Yeah I know I was spoiled rotten until I started school."

"You were an adorable little girl though."

I gave him a cheeky grin. I stared at him as he went back to what he was doing. I have to admit (y/ff) had a point.
He is quite attractive.
