Chapter Two
Lynn's POV
Am I completely insane for moving to Nashville? I mean really? My best friend does live down there now. And there would be tons of business opportunities when it comes to my photography business. It could be my big start.
My mind drifts to another face. That of the middle Stamper brother. Maybe there are lots of reasons to move to Nashville.
Suddenly my phone jangles, bringing me out of my daydreams.
"Have you even left Kentucky, yet?" Susanna's voice comes through the speaker, followed by her laughter.
"This is a big deal, I'll have you know." I replied back to her.
"I know." Susanna says, now serious.
Several longs hours later, I'm in Nashville at the apartment where Susanna lives.
Susanna was there waiting on the curb for me, and we each grabbed a load of my stuff. When she had showed me my room, she suddenly said she had to excuse herself to the bathroom. I didn't think anything of it, and went back for more stuff. Waiting there beside my car was Donald with a bouquet of flowers. "I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me?"
"Donald... I... you.... well...." I stuttered.
"Is that a yes or a no? Or?" He scuffed his shoe on the ground.
"It's a yes." A voice came from behind me, it was Susanna. Joey had an arm around her shoulder and they were both grinning.
"And before you say anything Lynn.... Sus and I will finish unloading the stuff." Joey grinned.
What happened after was a wonderful dinner and then star gazing down by the river. It was wonderful. And then I felt very certain that God had brought me to Nashville. At least for one reason.
