1. ((This Is More Of A Prologue, But I DONT CARE!))
Veronica Sawyer walked into the campus library, needing to finish a report for her psychology course. The semester had just started and this was by far her favorite class, along with criminal justice. They were asked to write a several page essay on a major event that made you think a certain way, changed you and your brain afterwards. She chose to write on the worst year of her life, her senior year at Westerburg, which will be one year ago tomorrow.
True, some things had changed for the better, like her, Martha, and McNamara were all close friends now, meeting up every Friday for a movie night, almost always something with a happy ending. The three had all transferred to Jefferson together, glad that they had each other. McNamara was fitting in well, better than she did with Duke and Chandler. But, sadly, now they went to different colleges and weren't able to see each other every day in person. Their coursework got in the way on some days, which meant they couldn't FaceTime in the early evening. McNamara had said that she was making friends fairly easily and Martha said that she's been acing all of her classes. By Veronica, she had...changed again. She was back to her old, nerdy Veronica for sure, but now she knew how to more than survive within groups of people that she couldn't stand. And her parents had also kept her on close watch and put her in therapy for a while.
Her fingers flew across the keyboard and was soon done with her paper and reliving that fateful year. This was her first time talking about it in a while other than in her first therapy sessions, and it felt pretty good when she was done reliving it. The emailed it to the professor and went back to her dorm room. She took a shower and got into bed and fell asleep very quickly.
About 6 the next morning, she was semi-awake already but didn't feel like getting out of bed just yet. Then, she heard a voice above her.
"Greetings and salutations~"
