Raghav's pov

Now a days it's been hard to stay away from Sia.

Today also, when I saw her in that red saree, I forgot about all inhibitions. She was looking so ravishing that I couldn't stop myself from kissing her. I wanted to do many more things to her, but alas.....

Today is Tarun's engagement with his long time girlfriend Nia. She was our classmate in college, and their relationship is 8 years old. And finally these two have decided to get hitched.

"Uhm...I am ready..." Sia said breaking my train of thoughts, and my heart again skipped.

"You are looking so pretty Sia.." I exclaimed with a smile.

"Thank you." She said shyly, a blush crept across her cheeks.

"Uh huh.." dad coughed awkwardly.

"I think we should go." I said to no one in particular.

"Yeah...bye mom dad." Sia waved and we both came out of house.

"That was awkward." We both said together, and chuckled.

At party

"Hey!! Tarun congratulations bro.." I hugged him and patted his back.

"Thanks a lot Raghav." He said.

"Hello. Congrats." Sia also wished him.

"Thank you so much Sia." He said to her.

"You know me?" She asked surprised and confused.

Shit!!

"Uh Yeah?? I..I mean yes, yes I know you, heard a lot about you from him." He controlled the situation and gestured towards me.

"Oh.." she said.

Thank god.

"Tarun, where's nia?" I asked him.

"With mom, she is introducing her to some of the relatives." He said and at the same time someone called him.

"You guys enjoy, I will see you two in sometime." He said while going to the stage.

"You told your friends about me?" Sia asked me.

"Hmm...they are the only family I have, wanted to share the most important thing of my life with them." I said to her, held her hand and kissed her knuckles.
She smiled shyly.

"I love your blush Sia." I whispered.
This time her cheeks turned like tomato.
I love my effect on her.

"Come, let us  sit somewhere." We started going towards a table.

"Raghav? Can I ask you something?" Sia asked me while sipping cold drink.

"Hmm.." I hummed.

"You said that tarun and nia know each other since 8 years....and after so long they decided to marry...." Sia trailed fidgeting with her hands.

"Sia what do you want to say? Just say it clearly." I said to her. What's running in her mind??

"Uhm..I mean to say...we have known each other for 7-8 months, so why you want to marry me so early." She asked nervously.

I smiled at her and said, "Because I love you. And since the day I met you, you never seemed to be a stranger. I always felt that I have known you for ages."

"Really??" She asked, her eyes staring deep into mine.

"Sia, I can't explain how lucky I feel when I am with you. You are my world...." I said and held her hand softly.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, LET'S HAVE A DANCE. ALL THE COUPLES PLEASE JOIN US ON DANCE FLOOR."

"Would you like to dance with me Ms. Sia." I bowed dramatically before her and forwarded my hand.

"With pleasure." She held my hand and stood up.

We made our way to dance floor.
There were many couples dancing to the slow romantic songs.

While dancing, we both were lost in each other's eyes. Dancing to the rhythm of our heartbeat.

Breaking our trance, someone announced,
'Guys Don't you think it's getting a bit boring. So let's do one thing, what about a competition??'

Everyone cheered and the man continued,
'So, we are gonna have a couples competition. In that we will hold three rounds. The couple who will be ace in each round will be our 'couple of the night'."

Everyone hooted and clapped.

"So, for round one, we'll ask some questions to you about your partner, you'll have to write them on the paper given to you. The one which will have most correct answers will win this round, and the bottom two will be eliminated......
So get ready........."

All the couples gathered in the hall and each were given a paper. Tarun and Nia were made the judges.

"So question one for men, when is your partner's birthday?" Nia asked this question.

I wrote on the paper- 26th October.

"Second question, favourite colour?"

Purple.

"Third, favourite clothes."

Her pjs.😜

"Now, its time for lovely ladies out there. Your partner's fav hangout spot."

"Second question, his favourite colour?"

"Third, thing he likes most about you?"

I know Sia must have answered all questions correctly.

And as I thought, our every answer was right, and we along with five other couples moved to second round.

"For round two, we will blindfold our handsome men, and they have to find their better half among all the beautiful ladies present out here." The anchor announced.

We were total in six couples in this round, the first two couple were not able to win so they got eliminated.

Third chance was mine, so the anchor got me blindfolded and made sure that I can't see anything.

Then they took me to the place where all ladies were standing, we were only allowed to touch their hands to identify, nothing more.

At the first lady, when I touched her hands, they were a bit rough, but my sia's hands are so soft, this can't be her.

On the second lady, when I held her hand, her sharp nails pained my palm, Sia don't keep long nails, she hates them, as it is hard to maintain. This one also rejected.

One by one, all the ladies passed, only last two were  remaining.

At second last, when I held her palm, a shiver ran down my spine, I inspected the nails and they were well trimmed as I felt. The hands were soft like a small baby. When I intertwined my fingers with her, our hands fitted properly........I knew this was my Sia.

And without wasting any time I raised her hand with mine and everyone started to clap. I removed the cloth from my eyes only to be met by beautiful eyes of Sia.

All of us congratulated us, some of my friends hooted and whistled, making both of us shy.

Then the next 3 couples also won the round, but they took very long to complete the task.

The third and final round was dancing.
The couple had to dance on a piece of paper and every time the music is stopped the paper will be folded into half, the couple who will be dancing till last without stepping out of paper will be the winner.

We tried maintaining our balance but at the third fold we couldn't do it any longer and slipped.

Thought we were the runner ups, but still these moments with Sia were more than anything for me.

"Sia, I have to go to washroom, will just be back in a minute." I Said her and went to use loo.

After 5 minutes when I came back, I saw Sia drinking something but before I could stop her she drank it in one go.....shit!!

I quickly went to her and smelled the glass, and I was right.......

"What happened Raghav?" Sia asked me amused with my act.

"Sia why did you drink it....?" I said to her a bit worried.

"Why? What's wrong? I was thirsty with dancing and all, so drank it. It was just soft drink Raghav, not any poison." She said and chuckled.

"No sia, it was not soft drink, it was.....alcohol..." I said worried and she shouted, "WHAT.."

Now how will our poor Raghav handle drunk Sia.🙈
