Raghav's POV

A new day, and not to forget, indeed the best day of my life.

My...sorry, our 2nd marriage anniversary.

14 th February, Valentine's Day.

The day when me and Sia were bonded with each other for this life and many more to come.
The day we took our vows with each other, for each other.

Flashback

Sia and Raghav were sitting together in the mandap before the holy fire.
Both could not believe that a mere interaction with each other in Manali would lead them to this auspicious thing.

Raghav was doing a happy dance in his mind thinking about that day when Sia accepted his proposal for marriage.

After that day when he accidentally bumped into Sia and they exchanged numbers, they were constantly in touch with each other.

And then when he signed a business deal with her father's company, it was like a cherry on top.

They were spending time with each other and got to know each other better.

It was Sia's birthday when Raghav asked her to be her girlfriend. She was a little hesitant but at last she lost in front of his heart and his love.

Time was passing by and one day he proposed her in a total Bollywood style, with romantic music in background, rose petals on the ground and he was there on his knees and a ring in his hand kneeling in front of her.

And to his surprise instead of a simple yes, she bent down and kissed him.

It was their first kiss.
It was enough for him to know her answer.

His trance broke when the priest asked him to put vermillion in her hair.

When he was filling the partition of her hair with the auspicious red color, a little got sprinkled on her nose.
Her mother smiled and said that it is a sign that Raghav will love and care for her with all his heart.

With all the rituals done, the priest announced Raghav and Sia  as husband-wife.
And they took their first steps in the journey of married life.

Raghav was there sitting in his room, flipping at the pages of their wedding album.

Sia was looking like a fairy that day. He was unable to control the urge to hold her in his arms.

After the seeing the complete album, he rummaged through his cupboard to look for some more pictures of her, when he stumbled upon that photograph which he did not want to see.

The photo which caused him to remember the beautiful thing which was crushed because of him.

Sia and Raghav were lost in each other's eyes and Raghav's palm was caressing 6 months pregnant belly of Sia, with Sia holding a board with caption "on the way"

A tear escaped from Raghav's eye and fell on the photo. He kept it back in the cupboard and went to washroom to get freshen up and calm his racing mind.

Sia's POV

I woke up in the morning as usual, did my stuff and went to office.

But there is something different today in the city.
I can see tons of red balloons and roses everywhere, couples holding hands and what not.

Is there anything special today??

Never mind.

When I reached my cabin, I saw a huge bouquet of yellow roses on the table. There was a note attached to it reading ' Happy Valentine's Day to a dear friend.'

Valentine's Day????
Oh that's why all that......

But who send these......???

Raghav???
Who else.
This has to be him, after all he is the only friend I have now, okay okay.....there is Ankur also but you know.....we are not that close, and on top of that he is not the one to do these cliche Bollywood kind of things (chuckle).

And then Ankur entered.

"Hey!!! How do you like them?" He asked

Oh!!! So it was him.

"You sent these?" I asked

"Yeah....you did not like then?" He asked with a disappointed face.

"No-no, they are really nice, but you didn't have to do it." I said with a smile.

"I have to..." he looked me with an unreadable expression and left.

What was that?
What did he mean??

I took the bouquet and kept it on the side table and then continued with my work.

But, I don't know there is something today that is bothering me. I am not able to concentrate on anything today. Everything seems to be different, it is as if I am forgetting something important, something crucial.

But what it is??

Is it my birthday?
No

Mom's or dad's birthday?
No

Karthik's ?
No

Their marriage anniversary??
Oh!!!! This rings a bell, but their is on 16 th April.

Then what is it??? Ugghhh.......
Why can't I remember?

And just then comes the person for whom my eyes were longing.
My Raghav
My???
Uhmmm......Raghav.

"Hey??" He said and sat on the chair in front of me.

"Hi." I said with a shy smile.
Why am I shy in front of him??

"You are looking beautiful." He said and winked me.

I looked down in embarrassment.

Then he stood up from his chair and came to my side. He took the support of table and took out a red rose from his pocket.

RED ROSE???

"This is for you. Happy Valentine's Day." He said and gave me that rose.

I accepted it heartily and gave him a thank you.

"So........." he continued.

I glanced up at him and raised my eyebrows in what.

"Uhm.....I was thinking....uhm.....would you like to....uhm.....go for dinner with me tonight?" He said while while scratching his neck.

Is he nervous??
Off course he is.(chuckle), but he is looking so cute like this.

I might just kiss him.....what????
Get a hold on your stupid emotions Sia (sigh).

"Yeah. Sure." I answered him and his face glowed like a 100 watt bulb.

"Okay..I will you pick you up by 7.
And yeah., wear something casual."

I nodded and with this he left.

Oh god!!!
It's already 6 pm and I am not yet ready.

He told to wear something casual but what???

And then entered mom, my saviour.

"Sia, are you going somewhere?" She asked me while sitting on my bed.
"Uhm...mom....actually....wo..." I stuttered

"Sia are you going on a date?" She asked very casually.
Wait??? She was not like this.
So open about these things.

But what did she say??
Date??
Is it a date?? With Raghav??
Did he ask me out on a date??
Obviously idiot, it's Valentine's Day, he gave you a red rose, so it is date only na.

Oh my god, oh my god!!!!!

I am going on a date with him.
Yay!!!!!

I am behaving like a teenager.

"Sia??? Where are you lost?" Mom asked while waving her hand in front of my eyes.

"Uh mom...nothing....and no mom, I am not going on a date. It's just a simple dinner with Raghav." I said.

"Just a simple dinner, huh???" She said with raised eyebrows and mischief was clearly visible in her eyes.

"Mooommm...." I whined.

"Ok ok... I will not annoy you more (chuckle) but I am very happy for you dear. After so much time I am seeing you like this." She said and hugged me in her motherly embrace.

Oh!!! My emotional mom.

Raghav's POV

At exactly 7 pm, I picked her up from her home. She was looking cute in a black shirt with jeans and her hair tied in a ponytail.

She asked me so many times but I didn't tell her our destination.

After 1 hour we reached Gurgaon.
I had a farmhouse there which I bought for us on our first anniversary as a gift for Sia.

I had arranged a simple dinner for us in the lawn area. I know Sia like simple things rather than elaborate ones.
That's why I chose to give her a single red rose instead of a large bouquet.

When I took her in....she was lost in her thoughts. May be this place clicked some memories.

Without wasting any more time, we started to roam in the house and I was directing her to different directions.
And then she said something my ears couldn't believe.

"Raghav, I told you to change the paint of the walls before our next visit here, but you didn't listen to me na, you are so stubborn, you always do this."
And saying this she stomped away.

Did she just.....?
But how?????
Yes, she did ask me to change the wall colours but that was before her accident, when she......

Oh my god!!!

Has her memory come back.

I can't believe this.

Without wasting any time I made my way towards Sia, and saw her sitting on the sofa in the living room.

"Sia???" I called her.

She turned her head and crushed my happy world with her words " Raghav, your house is really nice. Seems you have made it for someone very special."

Yeah and that special someone is YOU.

"No, it is just like that..." I said while sitting beside her.

We watched tv for sometime and then did our dinner.

Dinner was good, I forgot about my heart break totally as now she was with me.
