He looked tired like he was working on something, or well was working on something. I grab my bag that on on my side, hanging from my shoulder, the strap tightly placed on my shoulder. I opened it and rummaged through, looking for my phone. 'Wait, they would be confused wouldn't they?' Shrugging I carried on searching, until I finally felt the black box which I call my life. Taking it out, Jekyll looked at me confused. "Miss Charlotte, I hope you do not mind me asking, but just what is that?." My eyes widened and I faced palmed.

'I should have waited until I got back into my room!!' I giggled nervously, checking the screen quickly, to see that my phone is indeed still in the present timeline. "Well...you wouldn't believe me-" Henry- I mean Dr Jekyll (don't want to sound rude do I?) stood up and walked closer until he was looking over my shoulder. He was taller then I thought, well i am only 5'1 what can I expect?. "Don't worry, I will believe you if you explained what it is". Sighing, I turned on my phone again, showing him the screen. I pointed at the year which was 2018, as the month and day, which was still the 1st August.

He stared at the screen- I guess he could be trying to figure out what it is. "This is what we call a phone Dr Jekyll, and as you see it says the year 2018" he nodded stroking his chin. I lifted my glasses onto my head so I could get my phone unlocked. Yes I did the face recognition while I wasn't wearing my glasses, stupid right?. "I am actually from the future...and we have had to learn all about you sir." His red eyes lit up as he went to his notebook and wrote in it. I looked at him confused, I looked very where Poole was to see that he wasn't there anymore.

Jekyll came over, with a nervous smile. "Please, call me Henry. Come sit next to my office table." I nodded and followed him over to the table, sitting down on the chair in front of the table. Henry clears his throat. "So, what do you mean by; you learned about me?" Now it was turn for my purple eyes to light up. I search through my bag, my blonde hair getting in the way, I finally found it and put it on the desk. I quickly flipped my hair to my back, I'll deal with that later. "We had to learn about you because you where one of most famous historical doctor. And before you ask, yes, I know about Hyde" it was my turn to give a nervous smile.

He coughed a little to gain my attention. "Well, I guess I should introduce myself properly." As he said this he got up from his seat, and walked over to me, a click in his footsteps. He holds out his hand, Confused, I took his hand, and he helps me up. "I am Dr Henry Jekyll, it's a pleasure to meet you." I nodded, and cleared my throat. "I am Charlotte Gregory, it's a pleasure to finally meet you Henry." I smiled kindly, as he walks over to the door. "Would you like a tour? I doubt that you were showed pictures of my House?" I shook my head following after him. "We could never get to see it, but I guess I am lucky." He opens the door for me, I stepped through and he followed after me.

He starts walking and I followed him, as we walked down, he would tell me which room is which. After we have done, he had walked me back to my room. "Do you remember where the dinning room is?" I nodded, he smiled and started to leave. "After you have finished getting changed, get me from my room, we can get lunch together" I nodded and walked into the room, closing the door. "Well...he doesn't seem like a bad person. Yet again, Hyde...when will I see him? I'm kind of scared too." Sighing I get into the change of clothes, the dress was less work like and more like what a girl would wear out, I loved it. So afterwards, I did as Henry asked, to get him so we could get lunch together.

I walked around and found Henry's room after a while. I do have a bad memory, I knocked on the door, politely waiting for him to call out. But instead the door is suddenly open and I am surprised by Henry, who is now in more gentlemanly clothes. He smiles gently at me and walked out, holding out his hand. "Shall we go?" I nodded, slightly embarrassed. I take his hand and we walked down the hallway, our arms linked. 'Is he normally like this?' I thought to myself as we finally got to the dining room. He opens the door and I walked in, him following afterwards. "Please, sit anywhere. After lunch we can go anywhere" I nodded and sat on the char near the end. Henry sitting on the chair next to me.

Poole walks in with the lunch, placing the lunch on the table. He walked over to end of the table, and placed his lunch on the table and started to eat. Henry spoke up, breaking the silence. "So, do you like the Victorian era, Charlotte. You where wearing Victorian clothes when you fell into my arms." My face flushed a little remembering that incident. "Y-yeah.

"I have always been interested in it. I knew more about you...then anyone else in class." I giggled nervously, he seems taken aback, and chuckled nervously. "I-it's nice to know people still like to learn about me." I nodded, eating the lunch. My eyes sparkled as I took another bite. "Oh my god, this is amazing!!" Henry chuckled at my reaction, making me blush a little and carried on eating the lunch. After a while we both finished and we excused ourself and he went into his laboratory where he gets his blazer thing, we soon left.

I took a deep breath, walking out of his house. My eyes widened at the sight around me. "Wow, England looks so different!!" He chuckled once again. 'His...chuckle, it sounds nice...' my eyes widened at my thought and my cheeks redden, Henry looks at me with concerned eyes. "Charlotte? Are you alright? If not I can treat you instead of exploring today." I shook my head. "I'm alright!! Oh and last night, I figured out that the portal that I fell through, opens every month." He stroked his chin. "Do you remember where it is? Like in this time?"I thought for a few moments then my eyes lit up.

"Yeah!! I studied the Victorian era a lot so I remember. Do you know where ******** 23 is?" He nodded and walked on, I followed after him. Walking side by side...which a man I never thought I could ever see. He pointed at the places, explaining what it is, and what it does to help. We chatted for a while until we got to the house I asked him about. "So is this it?" I nodded, walking over to the wall I remembered. I kicked the wall and for sure nothing happened but I know it's definitely the place. "Yep, this is the place. So in 29 days, could you take me here? So I can go home?" He nodded and we carried on walking, when my stomach rowelled. I giggled nervously In embarrassment.

He smiled gently, his red eyes digging into my purple ones with kindness I haven't felt from anyone. "We can head back home, I'm sure Poole can ask the chef to cook something up for us." I nodded and walked with him to the house.  "Umm, Henry?? Do you think Hyde will do anything?" He sighed and looked down. "I am not so sure if he will or not. But I will ensure you that Poole will keep Hyde out off your room." He smiled reassuringly, putting my mind at ease. "Thank you, for making sure I am safe." He shook his head. "It's the least I can do. You have nowhere else to go do you?" I shook my head in embarrassment. He was right, there was nowhere I can go other then his house.

We finally get back and I head straight to my room. To get into something comfy. Because Henry said we are not going anywhere else today. I decided to get into my comfy bed clothes from home. Yes I always put them in my bag, I am weird I know. I know they aren't of this timeline but it's not like anybody is going to randomly open my door is there?. After getting changed, I decided I should head for a shower, I headed to Henry's room. Before I could knock, Henry has opened the door, his eyes widened and so did mine, my hand was in mid knocking position, because I was leaning like I normally do when I knock, I slip on my own feet and fall on top of Henry.

My face flushed red as I tried to get up but instead Henry just held me right. "H-Henry?" I ask, confused, he realised what he did and flushed legging me go. I sat up straight, fixing myself as he does the same. "Umm, sorry about that Henry...." he shook his head. "I'm sorry as well, I don't know what I was thinking." I nodded and spoke up. "I wanted to ask you where the showers were..." his eyes widened and he walked out.

"I'm sorry about that, someone was using the bathroom so I couldn't show you but it's other here." He walked down a few corridors and I followed after him. We carried on walking then he suddenly stopped causing me to walk right into his back. "O-oh I'm so sorry, I'm not normally this clumsy..." he only shook his head. "I am sorry as well. But here it is. If there is anything else you need, just call me or Poole or any of the other maids and butlers." I nodded and walked in. Taking a deep breath I turned on the light.

And got into the shower. 'I hope nothing bad will happen..' I shook my head and showered quickly. After about 10-20 minutes I finished and got myself changed into my pj's, drying my short hair the best I could, I put my long blonde wig on again. I walked out and started walking back to my room. Hoping I would make it before something happens I am stopped by a man. My eyes widened. "Why hello Charlotte, it's nice to finally meet you." Standing in front of me is Hyde, Edward Hyde. The one person I hope I don't get onto the bad side off. I know what he has done. His blonde hair and green eyes were looking deep into my soul.

I nodded, backing away slowly, "y-you too." I managed to get something out while stuttering in fear. He smirked at my nervousness. "Aren't you cute? I can see why Henry would want to keep you safe~." I backed away again, but ended up tripping over the carpet and fell over. Expecting to hit the ground, I was being held by Hyde. "O-oh, thank you..." He pushes me up and walks away. I swear I saw a slight blush on his face. Shrugging I walked back to my room.

~at dinner time~
I heard a knock on the door and found Henry at the door, with a concerned look. "I'm sorry if Hyde did anything stupid to you." I shook my head, walking out and stood next to him. "I tripped and he helped me." He smiled gently and nodded. "That's good then, please follow me and then we can have dinner" nodding I followed him to the dinning room. Which had our dinner already set up. "Ahh, thank you Poole" Poole nodded At Henry and left the room.

We walked over and sat down at the table, and began to eat dinner. It was silent until Henry spoke up. "So Charlotte, what do you think you are going to tell your family again friends when you get back?" I looked up from my dinner and thought for a few minutes. "I guess I would just say that I was in the past and if they don't believe, show them this." As I said that I got up from the chair, Henry looked at me confused. Walking over to him I put the camera from my phone on and bent over so I could get us both in the photo.

I was about to take a picture when Henry pulled me into his lap. "There, you don't need to hurt your back then." I blushed slightly and nodded, looking at the camera I smiled and took the photo. I stood up and walked over to my chair and began to finish my dinner. "Do you want to go out for a walk tomorrow?" I looked up from my food again and nodded. "Yeah, I'd rather have a walk then be kept indoors all the time." He nodded and I finished my food. I excused myself and headed to my room. My heart beating fast.

"W-what's happening to me?" I was walking down the hallway, trying to think what happening. "W-why is my heart beating fast whenever I'm with him...it's only been a day...". "I think it's love Miss Gregory." I froze in my steps and turned around, blushing. Poole was looking at me with kind eyes. "D-do you really think so?" He nodded. "If what you have said, I'm pretty sure that what you feel for him is love." I looked down at my feet feeling embarrassed. I heard Poole mumble something but I didn't get it. "Umm, Poole? What were you saying?" He shook his head. "Nothing you should be worried about, you should sleep on the thought." I nodded and walked into my room.

I sighed and flopped on my bed. "I-I love him...?" I covered my face with my hands in embarrassment. "I really do don't I? I did have a...little crush on him but I never thought I would actually meet him so I just ignored it. But now...it's coming back strong." I picked up my phone and found connection. "What- why would I have connection?" Shrugging I decided to call Jacob. He answered the phone in a panicky voice. "CHARLIE WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?! EVERYONE IS SO WORRIED!!" I winced at the shouted. "Jacob calm down. Let me explain." I heard a sigh. Taking as a 'please explain' response I began.

"Well you know the wall?" I sat up on the bed, getting comfy. "Yeah? What about it?" I took a deep breath, and spoke. "It opened up again and I fell completely through it and now I am in the past to be exact, I'm in the year 1886" I waited for a response. "Oh come on stop messing with me-". "JACOB HAVE I EVER LIED TO YOU?!" I could hear his surprise from the phone. "No- but how can I know for sure?" Sighing I got onto his contact. "I'll send you a picture...of me and H-Henry....Henry Jekyll. While we are having dinner we took a picture." I sent the picture as I was explaining. The words that come out of his mouth made me jump.

"GIRL, ISN'T THAT LIKE YOUR CRUSH?! YOU'RE BLUSHING IN THE PICTURE!!." My face flushed again and I yelled from embarrassment. "SHUT UP HE MIGHT HEAR!!" I heard him chuckling from the other side. "How do you know?" I sighed looking at my door. "You never know if someone's walking in front of your door." I got up and opened my door, where I see a wide eyed Henry...I drop my phone my face flushed in embarrassment. "I'm hellooo, Earth to Charlotte you still ther-" I interrupted him by addressing the man in front of me. "H-Henry?". "Oh- Welp, I'll let you two talk~" after that I heard the phone beep but I didn't pick it up.

"Y-you heard everything didn't you..." he nodded, I sighed in defeat. "I-I'm Sorry...I really am it's stupid of me to talk to someone about something that I know won't ever work-" Henry smiled sincerely at me. And shook his head. "I'm sure you had more time to learn about me...so it's only natural. But if you could, let me get to know you more within this month." I nodded. "That's perfectly fine. Just getting you meet you is a dream as it is..." I looked down at the floor in embarrassment. I felt arms around my shoulders, pull me into a hug. Surprised I hugged him, smiling slightly. "H-Henry? Why are you hugging me?" He sighed pulling back.

"I'm so surprised that you even like me. Hearing that from the door did really startle me. I'm flattered don't get me wrong. But I think I should get to know you better." I nodded. "It's alright, I understand. But umm, goodnight Henry." He nodded. "Goodnight, Charlotte." I shut the door, falling to the ground. "H-he knows now....my heart, it's beating fast. He actually wants to give me a chance?" I smiled and jump on my bed. "I hope I do this right...I really do..."
