You still can't believe what happened at the lunch time. You ended up agree with his stupid proposal. To pay his money back, with you being his maid. Why did you have to replace Takuya-san? Doesn't Shin supposed to pick someone better than you to be his maid? Not because you're not good, but you don't have any experience doing that job.

You barely know that guy, how are you going to serve him? Plus, you'll need to stay at Shin's house as long as you become his maid. That's suck... that means you'll have to see Shin for almost every time in your day. Seeing him for at least ten minutes, makes you want to run away from him. How are you going to survive more than that?

You closed your locker and put your head on it. Damn. Maybe you should decline Shin's offer. Just find some decent job to pay his money back. However, you still don't have a place to stay for today. Not just today, but more day to come. As long as you don't find a job, there was no way you can live by yourself. Maya will probably kick you out once again if she sees you in her house.

So, just take it as a chance to continue to live on here. Maybe you just being his maid for like a month or two. If not... you can make Shin regretted to make you his maid and you're done. He sure will fire you if you don't do your job properly, right?

"You can do this, Y/n... After you got away from him, you can find a job and live by yourself." You said. An encouragement for you to motivate yourself since it's going to be really hard to deal with Shin-sama. Great. Now, you'll have to call that guy, Shin-sama. Just like Takuya-san called him.

Wait... You have to get yourself fired. So, not in a million ways, you are going to call him, Shin-sama.

"Before I'll get myself fired, I really need a place to stay. So... I don't have a choice. That means I'll have to call him by that name. Oh my god..." You're hitting your head a couple times on the locker before you felt your head landing on something.... softer. A hand. You looked at the guy that's been standing beside you. Shin-sama.

"You try to knock yourself out before you start working for me?"

You sighed. Frustrated to saw his so handsome face.

"What are you doing at here?" you asked. Just a random question that slipped out of your mouth.

"We're going home together, Y/n. Have you knocked yourself too hard to remember our deal?" Shin smirked. He touched your forehead before you slapped his hands away.

"I remembered clearly about our deal. I just don't remember that I promise to walk together with you. Why don't you just wait for me at the school gate? We don't have to walk together, you know." You observed a couple of students that passed you and Shin. You sure that they're whispering something about you and this guy. The way they're staring at you surely explained everything.

"One thing you should know, Y/n.... You have to be at my side for almost every time." Shin answered while looking at you.

"I'm just helping with your needs, not what you want. Besides, I don't have to be around you at most of the time. Not even Takuya-san is always with you. So, I should have my time alone, right?"

"No. Don't get yourself far from my eyes."

You shook your head. That doesn't sound right. Don't get far from his eyes? Nah-ah. You hate that idea. What are you to him? A puppet that has to be with him 24/7?

"I'm agreeing to be your maid. Not your puppet."

"Neither you a puppet nor a maid to me, Y/n. You are more special than all of that."

You can't say a word. Speechless with what just came out from his mouth. What was that? More special than being his maid or puppet? Then, what are you to him? That guy is not having a serious crush on you, does he?

"Y/n-chan~"

You looked toward Ren and saw him walking closer to you. Smiling like he always does. But, his smiling face suddenly gone when he noticed Shin's standing beside you. They started to staring at each other. Sheesh... they really don't have chemistry at all.

"You want something from me, Ren?" you had to say something. Something that can stop their staring competition.

"Oh... I want to ask you to walk home with me, Y/n. We can stop by at the new café. I heard their waffles is delicious." Ren said and started to smile again. You gave a little smile. You don't have money to eat something like that, though... If you're going with him, he will definitely have to pay for your meals.

"I can't go with you, Ren. I'm sorry. I've got something important to do. Perhaps we can go another day, okay?"

Ren just gave you a weak smile and nodded. You feel bad for him, but he doesn't know anything about your situation. And you prefer if it keeps that way.

"Y/n-chan... are you going home with him?" Ren pointed his finger to Shin. Your eyes glared at Shin for a second before you're looking back at Ren.

"Yeah. I have some..."

"Start from today, she will be going home with me every day. You should keep your dirty thought to ask her out. She will not go anywhere with you." Shin cuts your words. Make you once again speechless. He has no right to decide your life. It's true you agreed to be his maid, but still...

"Why she has to listen to you?" Ren asked.

"It's none of your business."

Ren cleared his throat and looking at you. "I thought you barely know him, Y/n-chan."

You still remember your answer when Ren asked you about Shin this morning. She asked you whether you know about that guy. You said that you barely know about Shin. Well, you are. You don't know anything about him. You knew him by chance due to a little incident. That's it.

"I do barely know him. It's just.... It's more complicated than what you think." You answered. Ren pouted a little. Not satisfied with your explanation. You don't have to explain everything to him. You can bear it yourself. Don't have to bother anyone else with your matter.

"I need to go. I'll see you tomorrow, Ren." You patted his shoulder and walked away. Walking along with Shin out of your school building.

Walking to the school's gate never felt so exhausted like today. The stares that you got from a bunch of students made you feel uneasy. More like you has been stabbed by those eyes. You usually don't bother about what people thinking about you. But this time, you felt the burden of it. Plus, you hate the attention that you got. And that's all because of this stupid Shin-sama. Isozaki Shin.

Outside the school gate, you saw Takuya-san already standing beside a car. Waiting for Shin.

"I've thought Takuya-san is gone for a while." You expressed your thought to him. Stopped your footstep nearly at the car.

Shin grabbed your wrist and makes you continue your step. Then, he opened the back door and pushed you slightly into his car. After you got in, you looked at Shin that still in silence after the last conversation with Ren. He doesn't even answer your question about Takuya-san. His face seemed like he's not satisfied with something. Is he getting angry over you? You propped your chin and gazing out of the window. Let Shin have his own space...

Y/n opened the door after the car stopped in front of Maya's house. Shin still didn't say anything to her. Weird. It's been a quiet ride in the car. She doesn't hope Shin or even Takuya-san say something, but it just doesn't feel right. Whatever. She doesn't understand a thing about that guy nor should understand about him anyway.

Y/n walked to the front door. Took the key inside her bag and opened the door. Then, she climbed the stairs and walking into her room.

"If he keeps silent like that... maybe he wants to cancel this deal. Maybe I don't have to be his maid." Y/n stood exactly in the middle of her room. Thinking about what she's going to do next...
