Jeonghan hadn't stalked someone in a long time.
It started out naively enough. Someone randomly starts following you, you check out their page. It was simple courtesy. Jeonghan looked at the notification for a solid twenty seconds before pulling up the mysterious page. No harm done in making sure that whoever this person was that they checked out.
Jeonghan immediately regretted every decision he made.

Bitts comfortably placed himself on his owners lap. He watched as he typed away. He giggled and set down the phone when Bitts playfully swat at his moving fingers. The cat eased back when a scratch under the ears was rewarded.
“Hi baby. You come to see what daddy is doing?” He waited for a response even though he knew he wasn't going to receive one. “I'm just talking to the boys. You remember them. Speaking of which,” Bitts meowed as Jeonghan shifted himself up, moving the cat with him. He opened his phone up again and pulled up a photo. “How would you like to have a another daddy?” Jeonghan took the soft paw to the photo as a yes. Maybe he will talk to this man.

Jeonghan was not a morning person. More of, he was not a person when he was freshly woken up. He was an angry ball of salt that curled up in his covers and threatened anything that made noise. He was a grouchy dragon that hid in his blanket fortress curled around his cat. This was normal for him. What was not normal was messages fresh when he woke up.
Jeonghan squinted at the phone screen like it had committed a personal offense against him. He stared at a mundane sentence for much longer than necessary. Even read it several times over. Finally, he rubbed his eyes and accepted the message.

Jeonghan hadn't expected an automatic response. But he expected one so shittily typed even less. Jeonghan would give him the benefit of the doubt however and say that maybe he just had his autocorrect off. It happened to the the best of us. Jeonghan pulled his ass out of bed begrudgingly. He heard a ping in the middle of him pulling on his sweater. To say he jumped on the chance to respond was a slight understatement. No one needed to know that however..

Ah, shoot sorry. I had to type with my knuckle and I thought it would come out better. I'll stop over on my break

It's fine. I can't wait
Jeonghan couldn't wait. He was eager to meet the “hot babysitter” in person. He didn't try to make it seem like he wanted to see him. He tried to keep an element of casualty at all costs. He was just a customer, an incredibly attractive customer who apparently said “shoot” when “shit” would easily suffice. It made sense for him really.
“Good morning Jisoo!” Jisoo literally fell out of his seat at the sudden shout. After climbing back up into his chair he stared incredulously at Jeonghan. Who was still laughing at the frazzled man.
“Hannie, what demon in you finally died?” Jeonghan faked offense. Hand on his chest he glared at Jisoo
“When have I ever had demons in me?”
“I've known you for three years and you've literally never said good morning to me once!” Jeonghan scoffed as he stepped back into his own shop.
“That's not true.” Jisoo quickly followed him. He had no intention of letting the subject drop so fast.
“Yes it is! You've never been happy before twelve. What happened to you?” He pointed an accusing finger “Where's the real Jeonghan?” Jeonghan rolled his eyes as he opened his laptop. He insisted he was the real Jeonghan as he typed in his password. Jisoo seemed doubtful.
He stared at Jeonghan with hands on his hips. He was the perfect image of a bratty older sister. “What is this about Hannie? What put you in such a cheery mood?” As if on command, Jeonghan broke into a big lazy grin.
“I'm not cheery. I'm perfectly normal.” Jisoo came around the counter. Jeonghan looked up to meet his eyes as his hands slapped down on the counter. They intently stared at one another, only being interrupted by the loud meowing of the gluttonous beast cat. Jisoo continued on as Jeonghan looked to see where Bitts had gotten himself stuck this time.
“Did that lady actually end up setting you up with her son?” Jeonghan scoffed. Gently, he pulled Bitts out of the box that had trapped him.
“No, she didn't set me up. I just have a customer I'm looking forward to. That's all really.” Jisoo looked doubtful. Once again the two fell into an intense staring competition. Jeonghan rolled his eyes after Jisoo pointed between his and Jeonghan's.
“I'm watching you young man.”
“I'm older than you!” Jisoo scoffed and walked back to his own shop. As he did, he muttered a weak correction of, “only two months”.
Jeonghan twitched at a small jingle. He quickly flicked up, jumping in response to the break in silence. Whoever they were they had heavy steps. He could peep through the doorway and see stained converse.
“Hey, I'll be out in a minute!” The customer chuckled. It was childish and squeaky. Jeonghan himself smiled as he lifted up the box of dishes. The delivery finally arrived a few hours ago.
“Are you looking for anything specific today?” The customer hummed. As though he actually needed to think on it. Jeonghan expected the same response he always got.
“I'm just here to see if any of your new dishware came in. A woman came in here yesterday asking about it. Short, greying hair, really full lips?” Jeonghan chuckled as he shook his head. He really didn't need a description for a woman he met yesterday. Regardless, he admired the consideration.
“Yes I remember her clearly. And the dishes are here,” Jeonghan stepped out into the shop as he explained. Before he even got to the counter, the customer quickly questioned if he needed any help. Chuckling, Jeonghan looked up.
“No I'm-”
He nearly did a double take. He was caught off guard by the soft eyes looking to him. Jeonghan babbled for his words softly before puffing and shyly running his hand through his hair. It was an embarrassed gesture. Developed when his hair was still long and he'd run his fingers through it constantly.
“I'm fine really. You're the S.coups guy aren't you?” Jeonghan felt a pang through his heart at the big smile that took up “S.coup’s” whole face. His laugh sounded like a child and it brought a smile to Jeonghan's face. “S.coups” covered his face bashfully. His dark hair draped over his eyes as he hung his head.
“Yes. It sounds so cringy in person though. Please call me Seungcheol.” Seungcheol looked back up to him. He hesitantly held up a hand and Jeaonghan gladly took it. His hand was large. Short fingers on a thick heavy palm. A heavy, sweaty palm.
“Jeonghan even though you already knew that. It's nice to meet you in person.” Jeonghan subtly darted his eyes back and forth between the box and the man as he agreed. He piled up dishes as he continued on another flustered tangent.
“Yeah it's really nice to meet you as well. She actually demanded I come here and talk to the “cute owner” but I'm glad she did now. You're-” Seungcheol must have realized his mistake by the look on Jeonghan's face. For the second he made eye contact again he stopped still. If he could have gone red with his skin tone, he most assuredly would have.
“Oh gosh I'm so sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I was just quoting her plus she wasn't wrong but I know some guys get really offended getting called cute and if you do I-” Seungcheol died out mid sentence. He stood staring in astonishment. Jeonghan hung his head as his giggles slowly turned into full laughter. He clapped the desk as he bounced with his laugh.
“It's fine. Honestly you're so precious.” Seungcheol raised his brows before shyly looking down at his feet. He rubbed at his shoulder as he grew more bashful.
“Please end this.” Jeonghan took sympathy and gave up. He tossed aside the now empty box and pushed forward the stack of plates and bowls. He placed in the bag with care, rapping around them firmly with paper.
“Sorry. I kind of have an issue of being really forward. How do you wanna pay for these?” Seungcheol shrugged off his shame and pulled bills out of his pocket.
“Just cash.” Jeonghan took the bills from him, counting them out quickly. “So you know, it's not that bad that you're really forward. It's kind of charming. People love honesty.” Jeonghan looked up at him, squinting in thought. Seungcheol looked to him positively. Jeonghan just shook his head and slid over the stuffed bag. He was certainly a character.
“Thank you for shopping with us, sir.”
“Thank you for servicing me, Jeonghan.”
Why was he so flush? His words weren't innapropriate or suggestive. So why was Jeonghan so flustered now. He rubbed his cheek as he watched the tall, vaugly muscular (he could see his arm flex as he held the heavy bag) man walk out of his shop. Maybe it was the way he said it. Almost smugly, with a grin and a wink. He didn't even give Jeonghan a chance to think on it after. He just whipped around and walked out of his shop. Maybe he meant to fluster him with the term and tone.
“Did he really say “servicing me”?”
Jeonghan jumped at Jisoo’s sudden voice. He whipped around to the neighbor that stood scowling in the doorway. Jeonghan gaped for words before he decided to just nod. Jisoo burst into laughter.
“Dude he's not even being subtle. He's known you like five minutes and he wants to get in your pants.”Jeonghan glared at his best friend. This was not helping his flustered state.
“He was just joking around. And we're you spying on my whole conversation?” Jisoo scoffed.
“You say that now, just wait till I'm the one having to we'd you two. Though he'll probably try to get-”
“Joshua Hong!” Jisoo burst into laughter as Jeonghan began to chase after him. Jeonghan chucked every non-valuable object his way. Jisoo ducked each one, nearly slipping each time on the floor. Jeonghan eventually lightened up when Jisoo put his hands up in surrender. The scowling lasted a good hour much to Jisoo’s misery.

Jeonghan wasn't actually very close to Soonyoung. He was closer with his boyfriend, Jihoon. Though with the three of them together, it was hard not to get closer to avoid the attention. Jeonghan always appeared feminine and wiry; Jihoon was basically a fairy; and Soonyoung spent so much time moving around it seemed like his feet never even reached the ground for more than a second. To put it simply, they gained attention easy.
Soonyoung was very considerate compared to his tsundere partner. He invited Jeonghan along since he was already at their shop to check out an ice cream shop. He said a friend of his when he was still in school was working there and he needed to “catch up”. Jeonghan would never turn down an offer for food so he tagged along. Something about Jihoon suggested that he thought of it as more of a date for him and Soon. Jeonghan willingly third-wheeled.
“Hello! Welcome to scoops of heaven how may I serve you three today?” A young voice cooed as the trio was still recovering from the rush of cold air. Before they answered, a gasp rang out. The boy behind the counter grinned.
“Soonyoung?”
“Chan!” Soonyoung ran up to the counter and was hugged over top of it by Chan. The younger giggled.
“How have you been since graduating? Who are you buddies? What do you want to order?” Chan asked Soonyoung questions quickly one after another. The elder tried his best to keep up.
“I've been great. Chan, this is one of my best friends Jeonghan and this is Jihoon-”
“His boyfriend.” Jihoon quickly interjected, clearly proud of himself. Chan paused before breaking into a babyish grin.
“Ah, I knew you wouldn't be alone for long. You nearly found someone cuter than you.” Jihoon instantly puffed up. He was used to people calling him cute but that didn't mean he had to like it. He glared while pouting his lips. Soonyoung giggled and poked his cheek.
“Little baby. No but I do think he's much cuter. As for what we're gonna get though…” The trio flocked around to look at the ice cream through the glass.
“I need to set this down quick!” Chan quickly jumped back as a voice called out into the restaurant. A broad man quickly stepped in with both arms full of jugs of ice cream. The ice on the containers had managed to dampen his front apron, which was already covered in various stains. He quickly set the containers down and viciously wiped off his hands, complaining about the frost to his hands. He turned up to them with a smile before giving a look of shock.
“Jeonghan? What… what were you guys looking at getting?” Seungcheol quickly switched subjects seeing it was more than just him. Jeonghan smiled to himself regardless though. It was nice to be noticed above all else. He shyly looked at the rainbow of ice creams as Soonyoung discussed the options with Chan.
“What would you suggest?” Seungcheol broke out into a grin. With a childlike innocence, he went of on a tangent.
“Well my favorite is the rocky road. The chocolate is cut really thick so you really get that flavor. Raspberry is great too though it has an odd tang to the sweet…” Jeonghan smiled as he watched the taller geek out over deserts. To see what looked like such a mature serious man gush about and colorfully describe ice cream was a gift. To be completely honest, he didn't even listen to the whole speech. He just watched Seungcheol's face as he spoke.
“Really it's up to you though. What do you want to try?” Jeonghan blinked before slowly looking back down to the gallon jugs. What did he just explain to him.
“I wanna see if your favorite is as good as you say…” Seungcheol laughed and nodded.
He carefully picked up the cone Jeonghan chose before scooping the cream into it. Jeonghan moved to the cash register with the couple.
Soonyoung and Jihoon both offered grins that seemed a little too similar for comfort, both cat like and smug. Jeonghan squinted at them both. He know not to ask because they'd call any bluff he said in a second.
“Who's that Hannie?” Jeonghan looked off distantly, pretending to be unaffected.
“Seuncheol.”
“And who is-”
“Here's your ice cream “hannie”” Seungcheol grinned smugly at the nickname. Jeonghan opened his mouth to protest before closing it and trying to keep cool. It didn't work.
“Who said you could call me Hannie?” Seungcheol instantly edged off, a gentle smile still dancing on his lips.
“I was only teasing. Do you not like it?” Jeonghan felt everyone's eyes on him. Even Chan, who acted like he was cleaning the counter as he eavesdropped. Jeonghan grumbled as he picked bills out of his wallet,
“Not necessarily…” Soonyoung burst into giggles, which he poorly muffled. Jihoon rolled his eyes at the two. Seungcheol and Jeonghan both traded bills for ice cream.
“So, what was with all that flirting?” Jihoon questioned casually as he spooned some of his red velvet ice cream into Sooyoung's mouth.
“That wasn't flirting. He's just joking around with me.” Jihoon scowled at him. Soonyoung stole more ice cream while the angry fairy wasn't watching.
“That was flirting if I've ever seen it. You like him anyway so don't deny it.” Jeonghan sighed and just kept eating. It was great, he'd hand that to Seungcheol. He was right about the chunks and Jeonghan didn't notice at the time but Seungcheol had added sprinkles atop for extra flare. As he was eating, his heart nearly stopped when his fingers slipped. He panicked, thinking the paper around the cone had ripped and he was about to drop the treat. When he realized it was safe, he lifted it up to examine. There was a slip of paper? Jeonghan carefully slipped it out. What the hell?
You don't need this but it's the thought that counts ;))
