[A/N POV]

Poison sprinted towards his boss's room for giving him further information about the task he's been assigned for- keeping an eye on Y/N, letting her do whatever she wants, making her win this case.

He entered the room after knocking two times and saw JK playing chess alone. JK smirked looking at his expressions.

"Boss she wants me to make her end up in YJN. Should I?" He enquired, his eyes always focused downwards.

"Do whatever she wants to. Make her reach the pinnacle of her career." He ordered smirking devilishly, having a meticulous plan.

"Boss can I ask something?" Poison said in a low voice.

"Why am I leaving her?" He said the question Posion wanted ask, raising his brow.

"Yes "

"Because it's fun. I love this game, which in the end would be won by me. I'm in love with the barbaric attitude of hers.

I would make her reach the top and then trap her in my hands, just like this. Afterall, what's the use of a queen without a king?" He said while clenching the pawn from the chessboard.

Poison went speechless listening to this devil. He couldn't speak anything to this boss and so he left from there with a resolution of completing the mission he's been assigned.

At the very end, he was like a soldier from chess game- the one which is eliminated first, that soldier.

[JAEHOON POV]

It was a piece of cake for me to make her land a job in YJN. It was the criminals from that company, that is JK's men who blackmailed Mrs. Kwon and Mr.Jun , the president of Hangang, was one of them too- he was the one who gave us the passcode of her locker.

In all these years of me being Poison I've never felt this much nervous in front of someone, had it not been her.
Y/N is really not an ordinary woman. She is not only smart and but powerful too.

How? Just how is she so powerful? Is someone behind her? I must find this out before JK's hackers track her personal data. Afterall, my mission is not what is assigned by Boss...

And I know she'll be the perfect person to help me.

I was lost in my thoughts when she knocked on my table grabbing my attention.

"Jaehoon did you do the work?" She enquired, her voice still the cold tone but somewhere in it I find a sea of kindness and a heart full of innocence.

She's visicious but she is vulnerable too. She will be the best choice.

"Yah! Are you listening?!" She raised her voice as I zoned out again.

"Yes miss. I did the work. Don't worry, I made sure you end up in YJN." I said proudly.

"And how's that?" She asked raising her brow.

"Arina Kim, a member of the group Sua's in, was in need of a personal assistant. I applied for your name as a fake identity. And guess what she personally selected you!" I chirped happily.

This work was easy no doubt, but landing a job in such less time around a top class artist like Arina was something not so usual.

I wondered why is this going smoothly? Is Y/N in danger? Of course she's risking her life going there but I certainly can't lose her anytime soon. I need her.

"I see. I think I've to change my look a bit else there's a possibility I might get caught." She spoke not minding the question which was surrounding my head. Maybe this didn't came in her mind.

" Yeah you have to. Nevertheless you'll look pretty as always." I said complimenting her.

I see why everyone has a crush on her, she really is beautiful even without any makeup on.

" You're staring." She spoke sarcastically.

"Ah! Sorry!" I apologised shyly.

What the heck? It's kind of out of character for me to get shy. This girl, though I hate to admit but...

Her nature is making me crazy for her!

"Miss I'll show you the blueprint of the building I managed to get by bribing some people." I said changing the topic.

"What's the plan?"

"Miss as far as I think all the information and data related to the company is kept computerized in the PC of the CEO- Park Jang Mi."

"So?" She asked perplexed.

"You will find something there. I'm sure of it." I said confidently.

"How will I enter there?"

"A fake call would be made from my side making him come out of his room for sometime. I'll entangle him in my way, you do your work till that time."

"I see. You're smart." She said looking into the blueprint.

"But the question arises. How will you hack into the computer?" I asked as I didn't plan this.

"Well, leave it to Yoora, remember? The hacker?" She said smirking.

"That cute miss?" I asked remembering the time she was flirting with me.

"Cute? She's such a dramatic ass! You don't know." She scoffed making me reconsider my thoughts about the hacker girl.

"Whatever. Jaehoon you'll not come with me. You'll stay outside, when I come out taking some relevant evidence, we'll escape together." She said seriously.

"Miss, one important thing. You can go in from the entrance, but you can't come out from there, that's a fact." I announced telling her important information.

"Why?" She asked curiously.

"Because the biometric alarms in the system would ring after five minutes of any outsider other than the concerned authorities unlocking them and the main entrance and all exits would be locked. It's a fingerprint and retina sensor which opens only on Park Jang Mi's thumb and retina impression." I said sternly.

"Wait. Is that room tightly secured with men?" She asked a bit nervous.

"Surprisingly, no. This is the catch. All criminal men surround the outings of the building making sure no intruders come in and I guess it's Lee Jun Woo's that is the chairperson's, overconfidence that no one will be able to reach to the control room before surviving from his men."

"Overconfidence huh? I guess there's more into the story. Let's prepare for the worst." She said doubtfully.

"You will escape from the backdoor of that room which is locked always and it also can only be opened with passcode. It's more like a direct passage to the exit of the company using stairs in emergency that's the only exit which will not be locked as it opens with a password, that's a fact." I said completing the plan.

"So much security systems for a PC. Definitely they're having something fishy." She spoke agreeing.

"You're right. Should we call the cops then?" I asked as I know even if the men are from our gang, they wouldn't be arrested for long. It's just that whatever will happen, will happen to Lee Jun Woo, Park Jang Mi or others.

                        [Y/N POV]

I was trying to give a cold shoulder to Jaehoon, no Poison. Afterall, he is my biggest enemy in the skin of a saint. It's utter disgusting to stand with him from the beginning had it not been work purposes.

How can he act so innocent? He's the biggest criminal here!

I know nothing will happen to JK's men so there's no use of informing the cops right now. Also, the people needed have already been informed- Jin Young and Yoora. They will deal with whatever will happen.

"No, we'll not make the cops involved as this is kind of illegal thing to do because I'm having a fake identity. They themselves will inform the cops, when the data is stolen from the system." I said dauntlessly.

"I'm impressed! That's some nice observation, that's a fact." He said clapping which I ignored because my mind is focused on something else.

He soon got outside to prepare for the plan while I was making a call to Yoora and Jin Young.

[On call]

"Hello? Yoora? You listening?" I asked after not receiving a reply when I explained them the plan.

"Yes I am. So, you want me to hack the systems and the exit door?" She asked seriously.

"Yes. I know you can do it, but these things require time, will it be alright? You know right the alarms would ring and all the exits would be locked in five minutes." I said a bit nervous.

"Don't worry, I'll turn off the CCTVs and alarms from here and unlock the emergency exit for you. Just connect this drive to the systems which I'll give you when we meet." She said confidentlly and I believed it because I know Yoora's a really talented person when it comes to computer systems.

"Y/N does Jungkook knows whatever you're trying to do?" Jin Young asked finally opened his mouth to speak something and I think he was more concerned about me.

"He doesn't know anything neither you both will tell him." I said honestly.

"Why? What'll we say to him if something happens to you? Have you gone bananas?" Jin Young scolded.

"If by any chance, something happens to me, he... will not be able to live like before. He would blame himself which I don't want to happen." I said chuckling sadly.

"Y/N, you love him that much?" Yoora asked awestricken.

"I do. I really do love him a lot."

"Nothing will happen to you. Y/N you'll come out safe and sound." He said giving me motivation, though I knew he himself wasn't that much motivated. Afterall, this is a do or die situation.

I cut the call with this and I heard someone knocking and entering my cabin. It was my assistant.

"Ma'am someone came to give this to you." Jina said in awe.

I saw a huge bouquet of red roses looking so pretty in this troubled situation.

"Who?" I wondered.

"She came here yesterday late night when you were out for work and intended to meet you. So, she told me to pass this to you. She appeared to be really wealthy." She answered.

"Give it to me." I ordered.

I motioned Jina to do her work and she went away giggling. I took the roses in my hands and then I saw there was a small message sticked at it's back. It said:

Thankyou for saving Elijah. I'll always be grateful towards you.

The small message had the power to make me smile a bit. It doesn't had the sender's name but this was their way of thanking me. I loved the roses and so I kept them in a vase near the table. It was like they're spreading positivity in this room.

Soon after this, it was the time of the execution of our plan. Me and Jaehoon rushed towards the car and he started driving.

I changed my appearance a bit but didn't knew I'll look totally different from before.

"Miss your hairstyle, those bangs make you look you're a high school student." He chirped innocently.

"Do I look way too different?" I asked.

"No, you look pretty as always." He complimented.

Well, I'm not used to positive compliments as the people close to me always say I'm a potato and now hearing this feels quite awkward and obviously not homely at all.

I brushed off my thoughts when Yoora and Jin Young joined us.

"Y/N connect this drive to the system. I'll do the next. It'll take a couple of minutes to extract all the data." Yoora said sternly.

"Y/N you know right you can't take your gun with you. It'll be detected in the security check." Jin Young warned.

"I know that. My main work is of only five minutes and I'm certain I'll do it meticulously. " I said giving a cold shoulder to his warnings.

"We'll stay here outside the parking zone and wait for you." Jaehoon joined the chat.

"If I don't come back, Jin Young call backup from the intelligence agency. "

"I will. Just be safe." He answered in a concerned tone.

In an hour we reached our destination or the tiger's den. My heart was pacing at it's highest speed.

I was scared, not because something might happen to me. But what will happen to him if something happens to me?

"Yoora are you done with the CCTVs and alarms?" I enquired.

"Yes, now they'll see what we want to show them. This is a virtual screen which shows no change in the premises of the company." She showed us her laptop making our jaws drop , this felt like magic is happening.

"I count on you guys then. Wait here for an hour at most. My work is of less time but I need sometime to know about the settings of the area and also I can't stay away from Arina. She might suspect something." I said in a matter of fact voice whilst putting the minute earpod in my right ear.

"Whatever you're going to do next, just make sure to return safely." Jin Young said making the serious moment emotional.

"Can you all hear me?" I asked ignoring Jin Young's words whilst putting my earphone, as this is not the time to get emotional and they nodded.

"We'll wait for you here." Jaehoon breifly answered his lips sealed after that.

I took my fake employee card and got inside the company surpassing the security check. Jaehoon was right, they really have tight security.

This whole building was so huge and as far as I remember the CEO's office is on the top most floor and the makeup room for A- listed artists of the company, is just below this floor.

I was busy in my thoughts when I met Arina Kim. She was such a beauty dressed in a plain skirt and a white top her brown hair added to her charisma. She had minimal makeup and milky white skin. Her face had the perfect jawline and sharp pointed nose desired by many women.

Obviously being a star she must look pretty but she possessed inner beauty too.

I was fast to flip my character and started to act as her personal assistant.

"Hello ma'am. I'm Jennet Ryu your new assistant." I bowed in front of her.

"Hi! Nice to meet you! You look even more prettier in person." She chirped sounding gulliable.

"Huh?" I asked knitting my brows in confusion. These people need glasses at this rate.

It felt like a greek god complimenting a blobfish that is me.

"I selected you because you're pretty. Hehe~" She said making my eyes go wide.

She's so cute and innocent. I wonder why such a good person like her ended up in a company like this.

But wait... This girl, she looked way too familiar. Have I met her before?

"Miss? You listening?" She asked.

"Huh? Yes. What?"

"Since this is your first day at work so let's talk. I'm quite free today and I'm not in the mood to practice." She said expressing her disinterest in work.

"Oh ok." I answered briefly.

"Then let's go~ I'll show you around!" She spoke smiling excitedly.

Honestly, in this gloomy situation, she shined out with the charm of her one simple smile. She really has a good character.

She talked and laughed and told me about her life. It was like I'm talking to my younger sister who just met me after a long separation.

She showed me the whole YJN for which I'm really thankful. Had it not been for her, it would've such a pain in the ass to search the CEO's office and as Jaehoon predicted it really wasn't much guarded. Only two men stood outside the door.

"Jennet unnie! Taste this coffee it's the best thing here!" She handed me a cup coffee as if we're in a fair. I accepted the treat and she smiled sweetly.

"Unnie?! " I asked as it's an informal word.

" I like people around me to be like my friends and family more than coworkers. So yeah, I'll call you unnie from now on." She giggled like a small child and I smiled along with her.

"Gosh! Finally I thought you'll never smile!" She said dramatically.

Her phone rang and she excused herself for a minute. I can see her giggling while talking to someone. I wondered who's that person, that made her blush so much? Her boyfriend?

"Unnie!! You know!!!" She came towards me running like a kid who got her desired plushie.

"What?" I asked smiling a bit at her cute behaviour.

"Bright is finally going to meet me after a month! Yipeee!" She answered making me confused.

"Who?"

"My boyfriend, Bright Kang, he said he'll pick me up in an hour." She squealed happily.

"Kang Bright... That supermodel? You talking about him?" I asked curiously. Well who doesn't like juicy content?

"Yeah. We went to the same school and university, we were best friends or more of like, it was one sided, he liked me way before but didn't had the courage to ask out. But a year ago he proposed and here we are dating." She said being straight forward giving a little synopsis of her love story and honestly, it felt like I'm seeing a Kdrama in reality.

"Woah! Childhood sweethearts?! " I spoke in awe giggling a bit remembering the time I met Jungkook.

Well we don't have a really good history with each other but I, somewhere in my heart, wish moments like these to happen someday with me too.

Why I'm being jealous seeing other couples? Ahh!! This is so frustrating!

But still, I want to know how it feels to be in an actual relationship.
I'm sorry for being selfish, but I want to be a little happy too. I want some good memories with someone I love too!
