CHAPTER 14

Demi's POV

I woke up and immediately squeezed my eyes shut. Tears began to fall and I let out a sob. I felt someone touch my bare shoulder, "Demi? What's wrong?" I shut my eyes tighter. The dream isn't over yet, my own personal nightmare. It sounded like Nicko. "Demi?" No. No no no no no no no. Why do I always have to have these dreams? Wake up Demi. Wake up! "Demi. You are awake." The Nicko-voice said, I realized I'd spoken aloud. The voice's hands turned me over and I stared at him, drinking his beauty like it was the last time i'd ever see him again. Which isn't true of course. As soon as I fall asleep again I'd see him. Nicko's hand went to my face, "Don't touch me Nicko. Please." His face morphed into hurt and confusion. "Demi, what's wrong with you?" I squeezed my eyes hut and opened them again. He was still here. I pinched my arm, fuck that hurt. I felt his hand on my cheek and I slapped it away. "Please don't touch me. It'll make it harder for when I wake up." Nicko's face now showed understanding. "Demi, you're not dreaming. This is real." I stared deep into his eyes, "Promise?" He smiled, "Promise." Immediately, I felt the tears running down my face again and I pushed my face into his chest, throwing my arms around him, "Demi?" I heard the alarm in his voice. "What's happened now? What did I do? Oh God, why are you crying-" I cut him off by crashing my lips onto his, "Shutup you moron, they're happy tears." He chuckled and pressed his lips to mine again before running a finger over my lips, then my cheeks, wiping away my tears. Nicko looked me deep in the eyes, "I love you." Three simple words, eight letters, two spaces, and they still sent shivers down my spine. "As I love you." We sat there, in each other's arms for about five minutes before I realized my lack of clothing and blushed a deep red and pulled away from him. "Where are you going?" He murmured, and pulled me back to him. I looked around the room for my clothes. "I'm uhm... We're naked." He smiled and looked down, "Huh." I pulled the sheets tighter around me, but he just pulled me closer to him. "Hey, stop that. You have nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about." I blushed deeper and wiggled away from him, "I know, it's just weird." He chuckled, "You didn't think it was weird last night." He said, raising his eyebrows up and down. I shoved my face into a pillow and groaned, "Stop ittt." I whined, I felt the bed move as he laughed, loud and booming. Then, he flipped us over and laid on top of me, my breath caught and I stared up into his light blue eyes. He leaned down and trailed his nose alone the skin of my neck, "Mmmm." He sighed, "Perfect." I pecked his lips and rolled out from underneath him. Then yelped as I found myself falling onto the floor. Nicko's laughing started up again. I got up my knees so my 'parts' were all covered. "Very funny. Now where's my bra." He shrugged, still smirking, "I don't know." Then I remembered my closet. I grabbed a blanket and ran for it. Nicko realized my plan a second too late and hit the door just as I closed and locked it. "Oh you're SO gonna get it!" He yelled, with laughter in his voice. I giggled as I threw on random clothes that I could find. "Come and get me!" I finished dressing and stopped to listen, a weird sound was coming from the door, like metal on metal... SHIT! Before I could do anything Nicko burst into the closet holding a silver key, "HA!"

I screamed and backed away from him, laughing so hard I was doubled over. He grabbed my waist and lifted me over his shoulder, walking to the bed and throwing me down on it. He climbed over me and attacked my neck. I let out a cackle as I grabbed his head. He bit down on my neck making me gasp and the pulled away and smirked, "Oh yeah. That's gonna leave a mark." I rolled my eyes, "Asshole." His expression turned dark, "What'd you call me?" My eyes widened as this new aggressive side came out of him. "I called you an asshole." I muttered. His hands found my center and pushed against it, making me moan loudly. "Now, you really don't mean that... Do you?" My breath shuddered and I raked my nails down his back, getting hotter by the second. All of a sudden Nicko's hands were at my shirt and literally ripped it in half. I groaned and glared at him, "Good thing that was yours!" He smirked, "well then I'd like all of my clothes back." He pulled off my pants, (a.k.a his boxers) and tossed them to the side, leaving me in only my bra which was gone in the next two seconds. He smirked and leaned down to my ear, growling low and huskily, "I'm gonna fuck you so hard."

We laid tangled in his sheets, breathing heavily. Nicko had made good on his promise. His hand stroked patterns on my bare back. I snuggled closer to him and kissed his chest. "I love you." I felt his chest move up and down as he breathed, "I love you too Demi." I smirked, "But I love you more." He flashed his teeth, "I love you most." I rolled my eyes, "You got that from tangled." He laughed, "Caught me." We fell silent then, I listened to the even thumping of his heart. then I sat up in bed, an idea coming to my head, "Come with me."

I put of Nicko's t-shirt and he slid his sweatpants on. When we were both semi-dressed I took his hand and led him to the piano room. I sat on the bench pulling him next to me. "Ready?" I asked, placing my hands on the keys, he nodded with a small smile.

Pictures in my pocket, are faded form the washer.

I can barely just make out your face.

Food you saved for later. In my refrigerator,

It's been too long since later never came.

I took that dirty jacket, from the trash right where you left it.

I slowly took my hands off the keys, cutting off the sound of the piano's ringing note. I looked over at Nicko expectantly. "Beautiful." He murmured, I smiled, and pressed my lips to his.
