Nana thought about Hikari's question as she absentmindedly wipes the counter. Did the thrill that she felt was because of Junna? Possibly. But she didn't wanna rush on concluding what she felt. This may cause a disaster if she did. She folds the wiping cloth and tucks it in her pocket. There weren't many customers today because of the freezing weather, even she felt lazy, but still went to open her shop, anyway. After all, Nana was looking forward to someone's arrival.

As if fate listened to her thoughts, Junna entered the wooden door, a ding ringing in both of their ears. A warm smile crept on Nana's face. The two got a little closer during the days that they spent talking. The officer would come by every day before or after her work, either buying the usual Frog banana muffins or just a cup of coffee or both. They would chat if Nana wasn't busy with her other regular customers, and would take advantage of the time if only the both of them were inside the café.

Junna enjoyed the company of the banana girl if truth to be told. She always strives to do her best at work, researching and investigating Kaeru-san that come afternoon she feels extremely exhausted. She comes into the café, her cup of freshly brewed coffee ready and Nana gesturing for her to sit down.

This was their routine ever since they first met. Nana would close the shop for Junna since Nana doesn't want to be disturbed while she's spending time with Junna. And Junna quietly watches the blonde girl clean up the shop as she waits with her coffee in hand. But today Nana didn't start her clean-up immediately. She went behind the purple-haired girl, placing both of her hands on the officer's shoulders.

"May I?" Nana asked while nodding her head slightly.

"Yeah, you may." Junna sighed as the blonde moved. They were times like this where Nana would massage her and even treat her to a few jokes just to ease her tenseness. The blonde was very observative of people, easily guessing their needs and problems. But she really just loves to pay attention to the corporal.

"What's wrong? Was work that bad today?"

"Well, no, I'm just tired of finding dead ends regarding Kagayaku Kaeru's identity." Nana holds her breath, as the corporal mentioned the name. She didn't know that Junna was stressing over her alternate persona, much less to be disappointed. She felt really, really bad.

"Is that so? Then shall I massage your whole body today?" The two blushed at Banana's statement. Not that Junna minded Nana touching her... Well, it's not exactly touching her is the correct wording.

"Ah! You don't have to accept it." Nana panicked. She doesn't want to make things awkward between them. Not when they already established a trusting friendship.

"Actually, I think it would be nice if you do that."

"Well, if you don't mind." Nana slowly started on the corporal arms right down to her fingertips.

Her hand is soft... Both thought as Nana finishes Junna's hand.

This is when Nana hesitated about what to do next. As much as Junna trusts her, she can't just go and touch the girl's bare legs. Why did Junna decide to wear a skirt today? She looks equally beautiful even just wearing slacks.

"Go ahead." Nana slightly jumped at the officer's words, swallowing her saliva. She needed to get herself together.

She bends on one knee, highly aware of what's going on. Thank God, she closed the shop or someone may have seen them in this awkward position. She gently places her hand on the soft flesh, asking for permission. Junna didn't move away, which confirmed the blonde's question, and she steadily applied pressure on the girl's leg.

Junna covered her mouth to avoid releasing noises from the contact. Her legs were ticklish. Nana continued, not aware of the other girl's efforts of hiding her reactions. It felt good... but ticklish at the same time. Her hands went up and until she stops at Junna's exposed thigh.

Nana looks up to find a flustered Junna who had now both of her hands on her mouth. In the Holy name of bananas, please give Daiba Nana the power to hold herself back. She stopped, worried, yet found the girl's expression cute.

"Should I stop? You could have said something." Banana gently stated as she stared into the other girl's eyes.

"I'm sorry. I just felt ticklish." At this point, Nana stood up, letting the purple-haired girl breathe for a bit. She found the empty cup placed on the table and used it as an opportunity.

"Right. Let me just prepare you another coffee. Do you want anything else?"

"A frog banana muffin, please." With that, Nana left to go behind the counter, her cheeks flushed, trying her best to calm down.

What did I do?

"The tractor works fine now, I just had to fix some little things to get it back to working again," Hikari said as she and Mahiru's Father talk about more the vehicle's condition. The two had met up again after Karen-chan learned about her uncle's tractor, saying that Hikari can come over to Mahiru's house and fix the old man's baby. And Hikari came over with Karen brimming with energy, carrying the brunette's toolbox.

"Oh, How much will I pay you?" Mahiru's father asked the stoic girl.

"It's free of charge, sir. I just did what I had to do."

"What? Then, you said at least stay with us for dinner. You are Karen-chan's friend, after all. And I'm sure Mahiru would love it if you stayed." The man smiled widely at the stoic girl, who smiled back as well. It astonished Karen at this sight since Hikari rarely smiles in front of people.

"Then I think I'll stay for dinner. Thank you for your kindness."

"Oh, don't mind it. Also, you and Karen-chan should bring home a bag of potatoes." The man pointed at the stack of bags filled with potatoes. Maya would be delighted at this sight if she were here.

"Shall we head inside? I'm sure my wife is done cooking by now.-"

"Uncle! Aunty said it's time for dinner!" Karen called out from the inside, as the two chuckled at the girl's timing. They went inside, seeing Mahiru in a green apron, helping her mother set up the table.

She looks good as a wife.

"She does, doesn't she? I just hope her future husband will treat her right." The old man responded. Hikari just realized she thought out loud.

"I'm sure the person she'll be with will be wonderful to her. She's an exceptional woman." Obviously referring to herself as the person, though the thought of marriage hasn't crossed her mind yet. Karen, who 'accidentally' overheard the conversation between the two, quietly squealed. Her apron plan has worked successfully. Next, she needs her 'Mission that is totally possible: Make Hikari fall in love, Part 2!' to work.

The Sanuki Udon Technique!

Though it's a bit unusual to have Udon for supper, Karen convinced Mahiru and her mother to make Sanuki Udon for their stoic mechanic guest. Next, we have 'Mission that is totally possible: Make Hikari fall in love, Part 3!'.

As everyone sat down on the table, Karen bolted to the empty chair, forcing the shy Mahiru to sit beside Hikari. In front of them are Mahiru's parents, who are beside each other, being the happy couple they are. While Karen and her secret confidant in this mission, Mahiru's grandmother grinned at each other, seeing the blue-haired girl fiddle with her chopsticks, yet the other is still stoic as ever. Man, Hikari is sure a tough one. Don't worry! We have a 'Mission that is totally possible: Make Hikari fall in love, Part 4!'.

"Make Hikari stay the night, yeah!"

After a very enjoyable meal, Karen approached her friend, who was helping with the dishes, Hikari, who was stoically chatting with Mahiru's mother.

"Hikari-chan! I'm having a sleepover with Mahiru-chan. Wanna join us?"

"It's alright, Karen-chan. I don't want to disturb both of you and Mahiru-san's family."

"Oh no, you can stay the night with us, Hikari-chan. Mahiru's siblings are all out on vacation, so it's pretty wide here. I wouldn't want a beautiful girl like you to wander home alone during this time of night."

"Then I shall be staying. You and Mr. Tsuyuzaki have been very kind to me. Thank you for your hospitality."

"Your welcome, my dear. Thank you for helping with the dishes."

"Yey! Hikari-chan is staying the night!" Karen exclaimed she sends a thumbs-up to Mahiru's grandmother, a grin on their faces. 'Mission that is totally possible: Make Hikari fall in love, Part 5!' is coming right up.

"One futon missing style!"

After the very warm bath, Hikari changing into Mahiru's clothes, Mahiru panicking when Hikari was too close, and Karen hiding the unsuspected futon away with the help of the best grandma. It was already a quarter to 11, and the three were already sleepy. Mahiru went to fetch the three futons.

One.

Two.

Three?

Where is the other one? Why are there only two futons here?

"Mama! Didn't you prepare three futons?" Mahiru called out to the next room, where her mom was staying.

"I did. Why?"

"There's only two of them here." Before Mrs. Tsuyuzaki can reply, Karen butted in with a weird smile on her face.

"Ah! Mahiru-chan, we can just sleep together, right?" Karen furiously nodding her head as she keeps asking Mahiru to say yes.

"Hikari doesn't mind." The stoic girl followed Karen's attempt to convince the flustered girl.

"Eh... Ok."

And so three slept together with Hikari in the middle, Karen on the right, and Mahiru on the left. Though when both were now asleep, Karen gently pushed the two closer and stole the futon for herself.

If the other three are having a sleepover, Claudine has now a sleeping Tendo Maya on her bed beside her. The major apparently wanted to work on some things to know more about Tengoku and insisted that the detective's apartment was the best place for her to crash. The two did their fair share of work until midnight. Maya had a strict sleeping schedule that she passes out every single minute they were working. Claudine was irritated, yet was no heartless person, so she let the major sleep on her. Only to realize that was a mistake later on.

"Maya, please keep your hands to yourself." Claudine removes the brunette's arm for the fifth time. Maya, the annoying Tendo Maya is a very cuddly person. Of course, Claudine knew that talking to a sleeping person is useless, but her patience is running thin. Again, Maya put her arms around the blonde's waist, this time holding it more firmly than the first ones.

"Tendo Maya! I swear if you won't stop cuddling me, it will be the death of you." Claudine breaks free from the brunette's grip again, pushing the major away. Maya groans yet stayed asleep at the action and places her arm again around Claudine's waist.

Ugh!

Claudine removed the snaking arm again around her waist. But it kept coming back.

Again.

And again.

Then again.

Then Claudine had enough. She needed her beauty sleep and a very touchy sleeping partner isn't gonna give her that.

"Tendo Maya! Will you please wake up and stop these advances of yours?!" She slapped the Major awake causing the woman to shoot up from her laying position. Maya posed in a fighting position, putting her hands up that were curled into fists looking around like some sort of predator. Then she saw Claudine.

"Saijo-san, I was just slapped. Is it your doing?" Maya asked calmly, setting her hands back down.

"Yes, you dumb fool! I couldn't sleep with you being all cuddly and soft with me!" Maya then smirked, her purple eyes glowing in the dark.

"Cuddly? Soft? Saijo-san, I think you were dreaming. Have a good night, I'm going back to sleep." Maya lay downed again, this time facing her back against Claudine, ignoring the woman whisper curses in French.

How dare she?! She thinks Claudine is dreaming just because she couldn't see herself as cuddly and soft?! She even went straight back to sleep after that! Oh, Claudine really wanted to hurt this woman so badly and wipe that smile off her damn gorgeous face!

She yawns. God, she was exhausted. Having to deal with Kaoruko and Maya in one day is too stressful for the blonde detective. She lays down, turning her back against the brown-haired girl so she can't see that infuriating woman. She closes her eyes and catches her sleep.

Maya waited for at least twenty minutes before turning to face Claudine and wraps her arms around the woman's waist. She just wanted to claim her territory.

Mahiru, Junna, and this time Maya received the three cards they were waiting for. Did Tengoku know that Maya was Claudine's partner? She usually would receive the sapphire-white card, not her smug-looking rival. Each card contained different words, yet the same meaning as Maya stated after she read the three conspicuous cards.

"In the flowers of the sea, one belongs to me." -Tengoku

"A samurai's blade is always on his aid." -Kaeru

"Only the moon knows, who's behind the show." -Shiro

"Tonight, we, the Kagayaku Triumvirate, will steal Daffodil, the Hanayagi's precious heirloom."
