I smile and watch Kai with the dogs, his easy going nature finally back five days after the funeral. The Queen and I were making preparation for his coronation that would take place a week from now.
It was time that this kingdom had a King.
"Does he really want to marry Linatte?" Arabess asks as I finish planning the buffet menu.
"No. I don't know who he wants to marry." My voice came out heart broken and I quiet as I put my pen down.
I was pulled into a hug from the Queen, her hands rubbing my back in comfort.
"One day he will tell us, till then we stay patient." Her voice held a hint of promise that confused me, but it made me feel beter.
They had started to trust the kitchen staff a little better as well once I told her how amazing Ali was.
Now my friend and I had become their chefs, Ali cooking when I need to help Arabess, and me cooking when they ask.
Everything was fine but for one thing. Since the night of his father's death, me and Kai barely had time to ourselves and it was making me a little needy. A few times I had to hide in the secret passage ways and relieve my self.
When I first came here, I never wanted Alekai to touch me, now I miss it.
I sighed and looked at all the invitations that has been designed, looking over the list. Everyone was checked off meaning that all the invites were done.
I motioned to a maid and smiled sweetly.
"Have these sent off to the invited guests and have some food brought up." I say and the maid nodds before leaving.
"Look at you being a boss." I feel Kai's hands reach around my waist and kiss my cheek gently.
"Well some one has too." I joke, his mother laughing.
"How about after we eat, me and you go on a trip?" His voice held a hint of a promise and my heart flutters as I lean in and kiss him.
"Sounds like a plan." I say after an awkward cough from Arabess causes us to separate.
"Well, me and the dogs will call it a night then when you two leave." The Queen states and I blush, my mind racing with endless possibilities on what we would do.
The maid returned with Ali wheeling in a cart of food and I smile, waving at her before she leaves.
We ate while we chatted about the coronation, Kai showing us the sketch of the outfit he has being made for that day.
Ot was late in the evening when we headed to our rooms, the pups following the Queen while me and Kai packed a bag.
We headed to where the limo was waiting, our bags being placed in the trunk.
He held the door open for me as I slid into the back, Kai quickly folowing and closing the door.
"So where are we going?" I ask, snuggling into him.
"Do you wanna know?"
"Yes, thats why I asked."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes Kai, I am." I sigh out.
"Okay, I'll tell you." I smile, looking into those eyes as I waited for him to tell me.
Slowly he leans in, his moth inches from mine.
"Its a surprise." He whispers, winking at me and closing the gap with a lust filled kiss.
His hands slowly move over my body, sending shivers down my spine and a moan to escape my lips.
I was getting needy again, my body heating up and an ache to form between my thighs. I preyed that we would do more in this limo but he pulled away and I pouted.

"Because I don't want to own the person I love." He whispers, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear, then picking up the delicate chain and placing it on the table.
"If you want, I'll get you one exactly like that from the jewelry store, but you're free now." He adds and I smile, nuzzling his neck.
"I wouldn't mind that." I whisper.
"Before I get that tho. I want to know how you feel about me." It was quiet for a moment as he stared at me, his face hopeful and making my heart flutter.
"I love you."
