See, a couple of years ago I was convinced that leaving the pack and letting the alpha family take over and actually be what they were meant to be was the right decision, at the time it was, and everyone thrived, the downside is that I lost someone I once loved, and even though I miss him, I've healed and moved past that pain, I travelled the world with my brother, found myself, found my happiness with our children, most of the time people pegged us to be a couple, it was actually funny people thought we were more, but that doesn't matter, I'm still attached to my brother like nothing else in this world, and my children are just the same with their older brother Kaya, it was endearing.

What wasn't all that great was when my parents about a year and half ago called us back, the pack was well and fine but they couldn't take care of it for ever, and we were needed, of course my brother and I packed, came home immediately and brought peace to everyone and everything. What weighs on me now as a past twenty five adult is that I feel like I can't do the whole being alpha on my own anymore, the pack is growing and so the demand grows, my children are growing and taking care of them on my own with the limited help of my brother and my maid still doesn't feel like it's enough.

We haven't had any threats but I feel exhausted in a way and as if I'm not doing the best parenting for my kids, I hope they don't feel like I'm neglecting them. "Hey Rhiner, how's baby Tanner?" I asked my still closest friend as we drive toward the pack, Tanner was his second child with his mate. "Great man, he's teething so the littlest warrior is cranky, keeping both of us up at night, the nappies man, yeah not gonna mention." I laughed at his response and soon he'd joined in.  "How did the meeting go with your new business partner?" Rhiner asked and I couldn't help but smile. "We have a new partner, the two gruesome months have paid off, Jude is staying there for an extra few days just to iron out a few details but everything is on track, construction starts next week." I announced and he cheered for me.

"Man I'm so proud of you, you have just earned your entrepreneur of the year award there." He commended and I blushed. "Are you sure?" I asked in doubt and he waved me off. "Dude, I'm sure I'm sure, you'll see." He reassured as we drove into pack territory, years had gone by and the feeling of just being home never changed  I was happy to be home. "So what did I miss?" I asked Rhiner who just shrugged. "Nothing to note  of course I've been busy with the pack extension meetings with Cornell, so I really don't know, Lexi might just have the juicy tidbits though." He replied and I was sure my little brother was waiting to tell me everything that had happened, nothing ever passed Lexi's radar,  he knew who cheated on who and what before the actual person to be involved knew, he, Jude and our parents were the honorary gossip girl squad of the pack, and they were always there to entertain me.

"So I thought I should drop you off at the rents since that's where the kids are." Rhiner stated and I chuckled with a nod. "Thanks bud, say hello to your wife and kids for me and by the way you can just drop off my bags at my house when you pass by." I told him and he winked my way before I climbed out of the car. The moment my feet were on the pavement my phone rang. "Habebe, how are you?" I heard the thick Egyptian mixed with British accent filter into call as I answered. "Hello Nadir, I miss you." I mumbled as I walked up the walkway to the main door. "So do I my love but don't worry, soon I'll be with you and you can tell me what's weighing you down." He replied and I sighed in appreciation of his voice and concern. "You promise?" I questioned and he chuckled.

"The promise was already made midnight sun, all I must do is honor it." He reassured, he called me midnight sun because it was rare, a lunar eclipse, that's what he said I was to him, a rare specimen. "I had met him in Israel, he was on what he described a mission, his last for his government and he'd be a free man, ofcourse it was an instant connection when we met but with my history, I decided to hold back on falling in love, he understood and made a promise to find me when he was done and love me till the days we die, he made two promises and each day I remind him, my sheikh —of his promise and he reassures me each day, Jude also made it a point to note that he might be my second chance, I don't know how far true that is but if Jude thought so, I upheld his word, and so each day I wait for him, hoping he will find me.

"Did you arrive safely?" He questioned and I nodded then realized he couldn't see. "Yes I did, I'm about to see your naughty foursome." I replied and he lauged, we had spent time together and he didn't mind that I had children, he himself had a daughter, I often talk to her and I know he talks to my children, if they hadn't taken a liking to him I have no idea what would've happened in the year that we spent together, yes, it's a surprise that we spent a whole year together and are apart but I needed someone who was going to be all mine or not at all, I deserved that, so I'd wait. "Greet them for me." He asserted. "I will." I responded, though the more explicit and sugary sweet parts of our conversation I will not divulge, I know I was blushing by the end of the conversation.

"Talking to your older lover." Dad exclaimed as I open the door and I shriek away. "Dad!" I screamed holding my heart. "What, were you eaves dropping?" I questioned and he quirked a brow to answer me, ofcourse he was. "He's a sweet man, and I don't mind the age gap, I'm twenty six, hes thirty— three." I mumbled and he just chuckled. "Xander I'm not judging you, the older they are the more mature, well most of the times, they know what they want and stick to it, it's why I said yes to your dad, he was sorta my old man too." He whispered next to me and my jaw dropped. "Dad, —when were you going to tell me that, is that even allowed, telling your child that their papa was and is your sugar daddy." I argued and he just rolled his eyes. "Stop being dramatic, and come on, something is wrong." He stated and the way his tone changed I knew for sure something was up.

We made our way to pop's office and there I found my brother, a wolf I didn't know, and my pops barely restrained as his claws were showing. "What's going on?" I asked perplexed by the whole situation. "Xander you're back." Marquis muttered staying seated, I wondered why he hadn't gotten up to greet me like he always did, what was wrong. "Yeah, whose this?" I asked again as dad went over to soothe his mate, and pops immediately responded calming down. "Uh guys, would you tell me why there's a pregnant wolf here who smells suspiciously of you, and why are our parents silent?" I asked the room as pops sighed and slid a letter over to me.

"Alex left some time ago, we didn't know why he left exactly until Oya showed up with that letter claiming she found it here at the house, it was Alexis, he's gone to Sydney Falls, we didn't know why he'd suddenly leave in the middle of the night and Marquis was nowhere to be found, so here we are today, I tracked down your brother and found this, as for Alexis, hes okay, I talked to Matty and he says Alexis is fine, but we're still yet to get the truth out of your brother." When pops finished I lunged for Marquis, he was pinned to the wall in a second clawing at my arm.

"I don't want to be a hypocrite, but why the hell did your mate reject you?!" I demanded as the wall behind him cracked. "Dad, please." He choked out but our parents didn't move. "Reply your brother Marquis." Pops growled and the pregnant wolf stood up. "He got me pregnant!" He screamed rushing to Marquis's side and tried to push my arm away but I looked at him, eliciting a fear he never knew as I knew my eyes burned canary, the wolf backed away as I released Marquis who choked on the ground being tended to. "You cheated on your mate?" I asserted as Marquis looked up to face me without remorse of any kind but as our staring contest went on he backed off as I growled.

"I'm not dealing with this, I have to get to Alexis, dad, pops tell the children I love them but I need to go to Lexi." I hugged my parents tightly. "Make sure your brother is okay honey we'll be here, no matter what he's done, he still our son." Dad spoke rubbing my back and I knew the last of his statement was meant for Marquis. I quickly made my way out and started making calls, in the space of a few minutes Rio had the car he'd picked me up in screeching at my parent's front yard. "The airport, I can't go by road." I told him and he nodded heading straight for it.

I don't know what had possessed my brother to hurt Alexis, I can't even comprehend it happening, I wonder how long Alexis had been suffering on his own so that we wouldn't have to suffer or have Marquis hurt, he loved him that was very real but Marquis couldn't appreciate that, couldn't love him back and to me that was something that hurt too, the pain was all too familiar. My phone rang and Nadir sheKahn's name popped up reminding me that I shouldn't feel the pain, it was in my past. "Hello." I shook and immediately he knew something was wrong. "What's wrong?" He demanded and I explained everything and Rhiner who was next to me, I could see his knuckles whitening too. "You do whatever you have to, make sure he's alright." He assured me and I held on to his words like nothing else, I sensed he wanted to tell me something but he evaded it.

"I hope to see you soon." I muttered and he chuckled. "That may be sooner than you think, go be a big brother, I'll check in very soon my midnight sun, I'm with you don't worry." He reassured, his own way of telling me he loved me. "And I'll hold you to that." I told him as soon enough I was headed for the Crescent Fall Pack.

So there are readers who read Savage a million times and haven't found what happens there consistent with the previous I Am Your Alpha version, I've tried to iron out that plot make it clearer and better so that when you read this book and Savage, you'll be like (ooh, now it makes sense) Because it freaking bloody does now. So,  I hope you've enjoyed this book and are looking forward like I am to meeting Nadir sheKahn, the sugar daddy to our sugar baby in—
