PERSONALITY
Gentle is probably the best word to use for Aemin. She tends to be soft and sweet, though a bit of a wallflower—she is quite shy. Despite this shyness, though, people do tend to like Aemin. She is polite and respectful, and has a sort of charisma that makes people want to be her friend. However, she has a bad habit of being self-deprecating, as though she doesn't believe she is actually good at anything.

BACKGROUND

Aemin was raised as an only child by a single father. Her mother died when she was a baby, leaving just her and her father. He was young, maybe too young to be raising a child on his own, but he loved Aemin very much and was determined to do his best to raise her well. He changed jobs to one that allowed him to work from home, and asked his mother for help for times that he couldn't be there for Aemin.
Despite her father's struggle, Aemin was raised well in a loving environment. Her father raised her to be kind, to be herself, and to be generous, but to know when to ask for help. He's an inspiration to Aemin, honestly, and she loves him very much.
Aemin's interest in the entertainment industry started with ballroom dancing. As a way to get her out of the house as a child, Aemin's father signed her up for free kids' dancing lessons held at a community center near their home. She took to dancing well, which was a little surprising for a seven-year-old girl. Seeing as she was enjoying ballroom dancing, her father continued to put her in dance classes. He wasn't going to deny her something that made her happy.
As she moved into her teens, Aemin moved into doing ballroom dancing competitions, which is where she was scouted by JEM Entertainment when she was nineteen. She wasn't sure about becoming a trainee at first, but her father convinced her to try it, especially as the company was excited upon hearing her singing voice. So Aemin tried. She hasn't given up yet, despite her stage fright issues—the company was thinking about debuting her as a soloist a few years ago, but it didn't work out, and Aemin's still working hard.

- Aemin has a cottagecore/classic victorian style, and it really shows. You'll never see her in a skirt shorter than her knees if she can help it, and she loves lace, light colors, flowers, etc. The style suits her, and is part of how she got the nickname Fairy.
