PERSONALITY
Emilia loves to have fun. She's bright and has a massive sassy side, and always looks for a good time. She is kind, tending to behave as a big sister to those younger than her (albeit one who likes to make chaos), and is more humble than one would expect. She hides it well, but Emilia is also fairly intelligent—she has an actual college degree, after all.

BACKGROUND

Kim Eunji is a middle child. They have an older sister and a younger brother, and were very close to their brother when they were a kid. Her family didn't struggle with money, due to her father's job as a prosecutor, and both her parents were honestly very present in her life. Her family life was open and relaxed, and she always felt loved. Not much happened in her life as a kid, somewhat thankfully, as she had no super negative events either.
When she was ten, the family relocated to LA for a few months, in which time she gained her English name, Emilia, and learned to speak English. Since then, she's actually preferred the name Emilia.
Entertainment wasn't their first career path, to be honest. Emilia bounced between several ideas for what she might want to do when she was a teenager, including writing and teaching. However, they did start to consider music seriously when their brother joined an entertainment company, in all honesty. Seungmin wasn't the kind of guy to not take things seriously, and if he thought it was a viable career path... maybe he was on to something. Besides, their parents were incredibly supportive of the idea.
She was accepted into JYP in 2018, when she was 21–a bit on the older side for a trainee, but hopefully worth it. She also started university, studying psychology as a sort of backup plan (and just because she was interested and passionate). Their time at JYP was useful, but it didn't end up working out for them. So, just recently, Emilia left JYP and moved to JEM Entertainment.

funnily enough, emilia met keonhee through her brother. they were hanging out with some of his friends just after christmas, and he introduced the pair—and emilia was pretty quickly interested. they exchanged numbers, went on a few dates, and keonhee just recently asked her to be his girlfriend!

- They have a large book collection, and love to read.
- Emilia prefers to go by her English name rather than Eunji, as she likes the way it sounds better than her Korean name.
- They were a trainee at JYP for five years before leaving and joining JEM.
- Their room is full of little decorations—silly trinkets, posters, and the like. She likes to personalize her space.
- Emilia has an extremely low spice tolerance, unable to handle most even mildly spicy food.
- She often refers to her brother by his English name, or by the childhood nickname SkySky, and he does the same to her, calling her EmEm. Thus, some people don't realize they're related.
- Emilia's favorite genre of music outside of kpop is rock music, and they can often be found blasting it in their room.
- Emilia loves short skirts and somewhat daring fashion choices.
- When she's not practicing, Emilia can usually be found reading one of her many (many) books.
- Emilia's younger brother is Stray Kids' Seungmin, and though she keeps this fact mostly on the down-low, she's incredibly proud of her brother and supports him no matter what. They're also friendly with his members, though not as close to them.
- She despises vegetables, and will avoid them if she can. However, she loves sweets.
- Emilia did nearly debut in Itzy, but the company decided they weren't ready. Emilia has mixed feelings on this, as she was close with the girls and would have loved to debut with them, but she wasn't sure she was ready, either.
