Kira POV

I was in a jet with Mom and an orange haired girl who was tinkering with mechanical devices. She had a look of determination on her and was happy to be heading for a new place.

Kira: Watcha working on Kohaku?

Kohaku: Oh, just trying to get this to become a holographic projector. It's tricky, but I will get it to work.

Kira: I believe in you.

That's my younger sister Kohaku. She's adopted, just like me. But I still family. Cibo took her in six years ago when her family ended up dying during a mass riot in a city called Paradise. The name was pretty ironic because of how it ended up. Turns out we have a lot in common. Especially since we love Super Heroes and the Transformers.

Kira: Mom, why are we coming to Japan?

Cibo: I have a friend there that needs my help with an important project he's working on. If it falls in any way, her company will go under. I know it's essentially me doing most of the work, but she's a good person.

Kohaku: We know you can do it, mom.

Cibo: I know. It's just nice to hear it from you both. Can you take care of yourselves until I return.

Kira: Yes mom.

Cibo: Just in case. Return to the house loaned to us by 6 PM. And Kira, I know you've been training every day to get a handle on your enhanced physical abilities, but try to avoid fights. And make sure you don't break their bodies if you do get caught in one. Okay?

Kira: Yes Mom.

The Plane lands and the we get out of it. When the doors open, I see that there is some kind of cloaking barrier around us. I hear something and turn to see Kohaku grabbing her luggage. I go get mine and follow mom out of the plane. The three of us go through a hallway and see people wearing masks or disguises. A clear indication that they're all people that are trying to be incognito.

Kohaku: Mom, why are we going through this airport again? It feels kinda empty.

Cibo: Yeah, this was made for those who want to avoid drawing attention. Especially those who have strings to the government. Especially for people like us from the Mega Cities.

Kira: And is walled apartments unknown to general populace what we have to stay in while we're here?

Cibo: You two are free to explore. Just be careful, keep your powers at a minimum and don't hurt anybody.

Kohaku: That's fine. Besides, I have so many places I want to visit with Kira. This place is full of Anime, manga, and video games. I'm even interested in seeing what's going to come out before the international releases.

Kira: Sure thing, little sis.

Me and Kohaku go to where we'll be staying during our visit and put our suitcases in a corner of the room. Kohaku brings out a camera that she kept in her suitcase. It was an older one that used film to make pictures.

Kira: I still can't believe you managed to get that thing working.

Kohaku: Hey, I told you and everyone else that I can improve and get things closer to their original purpose.

Kira: Just where explosion resistant gloves in case that thing blows up.

Kohaku: Relax, it won't explode. Come on, Let's go see what's out here. I want to see the original dialogue for the Cyber Knights game.

Kira: Well, I'd just be happy to go to the Rena Sayama concert.

Kohaku: No way, she's your favorite idol? Me too. I've seen all her videos. Even played her concerts in the VR room.

Kira: That explains the rumbling. You really should turn down the volume in there.

Kohaku: Yeah, I learned that the painful way. Come on, let's go. How about you give me a piggy back ride like last year?

Kira: Okay, okay. Hop on.

I crouch down and Kohaku gets on my back before I stand back up.

Kira: But when we get to the garage, you're walking on the ground.

Kohaku: Fine by me.

I carry Kohaku through the structure before stopping at the door to the garage. It opens and reveal several self driving cars. One activates and moves in front of us before opening its doors.

Kohaku: Let's get in. Let's get in.

Kohaku gets into the car and I follow her.

Kira: Kohaku, We take these cars all the time in MegaCity 2.

Kohaku: Yeah, but now we can drive through Tokyo this time.

I get in the car and we drive through Tokyo, seeing many of the people and cars passing by. Kohaku looks out the window like a kid in a new place while I just look at they sky since the MegaCities are completely walled up. I also begin to see the electronics that are active. But the sight of Kohaku's smile allows me to take my mind off all that. The car stops at a relatively empty lot and we get out of it. We spend the next few ours going around the city on foot. So many placed we went to, so many things we checked out. We even went to one of the city's observation deck. We look below and see the many buildings below us. It was like looking out the window at our home. So many buildings. Just the architecture needs time to catch up with certain parts of the world.

Kira: This is quite a sight.

Kohaku: Yeah. Come on, let's take a picture.

I go to Kohaku and crouch down so we can get in he shot. Kohaku aims her camera at us and takes the picture. After our sightseeing was over, we went back to the room we're staying in and Kohaku got on the bed. Meanwhile, I was looking through my luggage and found the tablet that I brought.

Kira: Kohaku, whatcha want to do next?

I turn around and see that Kohaku has already fallen asleep.

Kira: Didn't even put on the blankets.

I look for a blanket and put it on Kohaku before leaving out the room. There was something I wanted to do. Something that I haven't done in a while. I get back to the city and enter a building. I use my technopathy to make sure the security can't pick up anything suspicious. I go to the roof of the building and take a look at the city as the sun sets. My technopathy picks up the signals of the countless devices. When I was younger, this overwhelmed me. Now, after years of getting the hang on my power, I notice how beautiful it looked.

Kira: Well, Let's see if I got the hang of this.

I ready myself before running and stepping on the ledge before jumping at an incredible distance. I went over many buildings before landing on another one. I repeat the process a few times before I decide to stop.

Kira: I still got it.

I turn around and find myself next to a Rena Sayama billboard. What were the odds of that?

Kira: This power is not like my Technopathy. Mom doesn't really tell me much about it. So what is it?

???: It seems the high honor hasn't told you anything

I turn around and see an armored person floating in the air.

Kira: What the?

???: So, you want to know about this power of yours. It is a power that is not meant for this world.

The being holds its arm out before swinging his arm down and sending an energy slash. I jump out of the way, and the slash cuts through the billboard, causing a piece of it to fall off.

???: I'm impressed.

I don't know what else to do so I try to get away from him by hopping across rooftops through the city and eventually land in a stadium.

Kira: I think I lost him.

???: No. You didn't.

I turn and see that he still followed me. However, I sense military grade drones in the stadium. Must be an arms deal that was supposed to happen tonight. It's better than nothing. I use my technopathy to activate them and come to me. Then I order them to fire on the being that's after me. They empty all their bullets and missiles in the process. Suddenly, he charges and punches me, knocking me to the ground a short distance away from him.

Kira: What do you got against me anyways?! What are you attacking me for?!

???: You power. I already told you. It isn't meant for this world.

Kira: It's not my fault. It's not like I had any choice in the matter.

???: You're right. If anyone's at fault. It would be the man the fathered you.

He charges at me and I brace for the worse, before something comes fast and punches him back. the being gets sent flying into the stands and I see the strongest superhero on the planet.

Kira: Omni-man?

Omni-man: Yes, in the flesh. Now how about you leave this to us?

Soon another person flies in and it is a member of the famous Guardians of the Globe.

Kira: Immortal?

Immortal: Go. We will take care of this invader. Your ride is here.

I hear a helicopter before looking up and seeing on in the sky. Omni-man grabs me and lifts me up.

Omni-man: Just stay calm and you'll be alright.

Omni-man then throws me into the air.

Kira: AH!

I get higher and closer to the Helicopter that has it's doors open. I land into it and I see Mom coming checking on me.

Cibo: Kira! Kira, are you okay?

Kira: Sort of. Did you get Immortal and Omni-man to help?

Cibo: Not really. I friend of mine panicked and alerted the Global Defense Agency about Bemular. So they sent them to take him on.

Kira: Bemular. What is he?

Cibo: He has a history with Ultraman.

Kira: Ultraman

Cibo: You're not going to believe this Kira, but your father was Ultraman.

My mind was having a difficult time to process what Mom said.

Kira: Ultraman was my dad?

Cibo: Yes. Or rather, he fused with your father, but still. And his power passed on to you.

Kira: So that's why I have this aside from my other power.

Cibo: Yes.

Kira: So what now.

Cibo: This thing was inevitable. And it will only continue from this point on. So, you have a choice: We can get to the safehouse wait for him to leave. Or you can take a chance and fight Bemular. I won't make you do anything.

Kira: I look at the monitors in the helicopter and see Omni-man and Immortal. I remember all the stories I read about the superheroes and their exploits. If I have this power, then I have to do something. Even if it means failing.

Kira: I'll fight that bastard.

Cibo: Okay. But you'll need this.

Cibo shows me something and I am surprised at what I'm looking at.

Kira: Is this--

Cibo: Yes. It was designed just for you.

No POV

Omni-man and Immortal now have some bruises while Bemular.

Omni-man: You're more tenacious than I expected, I'll give you that.

Bemular: You're wasting my time.

Suddenly, something falls from the sky and crashes into the ground. A figure stands up and they resembles a hero thought to have been dead. Immortal and Omni-man are surprised at what they're seeing.

Immortal: What?

Omni-man: It can't be.

The dust clears and reveals the person standing in front of them.

Bemular: Ultraman.

Unknown to Immortal and Omni-man, Kira was the one in the armor.

Kira: Alright then. Let's do this.

Ultraman and Bemular charges at each other.
