The Legend
There's a legend about Westerburg High's ghost of a young teenager who committed suicide that apparently haunts the school.
So, there were two lovebirds, a male named JD and the female, Veronica Sawyer. They were sailing well until their ship began to sink. Veronica Sawyer had lost interest in her boyfriend so she confronted him a week prior to the pep rally. She explained the best way she could've to JD but he took it the wrong way. Over the course of the week, JD became absent a lot, rarely showing up. Turns out, he had been planning ways to kill himself in front of Veronica Sawyer. When the pep rally began, JD brought in a homemade bomb and went outside. Veronica Sawyer had felt guilty of she had done and decided to follow JD to talk to him. The boy went outside to the front side of the school. Veronica Sawyer came out just as JD had finished strapping the bomb to his chest and had set the timer. Veronica Sawyer pleaded several times and begged him to live. Her words and actions unfortunately didn't move JD enough. JD then took out a paper of his suicide note. JD read his last final words with Veronica Sawyer terrified. The last line of the paper ended with: Now that you're dead, what you gonna do with your life?
Then, he blew up.
However, JD's left an impact on the school. Due to the explosion, JD's spirit enegry spread everywhere. Many claim to be tripped or threatened by something invisible. In the lunch room, a voice can be heard saying 'Greetings and salutations!' from a certain table. The spirit's activity is all over the place but can be limited. Some classrooms have teachers who have witnessed paperwork flying everywhere, chairs being moved, and certain unstiels taken.
Several reporters have claimed to be physically attacked by something. A paranormal investigation crew saw dark figures in corners of a room. Footsteps can be heard around staircases and whenever someone would take a picture on a electronic device, it would die. Constantly fires would happen at random.
However, Westerburg High still runs to this day.
