Chapter 25

"You are now in blue rank." The voice rang in my head like a melodical bell.

A large metal gate appeared again but this time a dark shine appeared on the gate, I clutched onto my necklace before cultivating to recover. The little cat was still curled up in a small bag they have given me.

After a while of recovery the door opened and a blast of cold air spread around me. The ground however was made of ice while the cold air froze whatever it touched.

I summon a protective shield to protect me but a dark shadow appears right before my eyes.

A giant scorpion with ice colored shell and a poisonous stinger walked towards me with its green eyes gleaming with malicious.

I avoided fighting straight on and instead chipped at its defense bit by bit.

It my attacks barley did damage to it but soon flinged it's stinger at me. It turned its eyes towards me so at the split second I throw my blade at its eyes in an attempt to blind it. It screeched as if it went berserk and started to launch its stinger at me. I quickly dodged and as of it was enraged it turned around and taking that as an opportunity I slashed my knife across the few parts not covered in armor.

When it was close to death, I could also feel my health declining with many wounds all over my body. I was also losing energy making everything that much harder.

With its last screech ice froze my foot making me move slower while the scorpion flinged it's stinger at me.

When I woke up I was no longer in the forest but instead on a bed. It seemed as of the school used a teleportation array to transport us back.

As I was thinking I saw a lady walk up to me and whisper something to herself. I didn't see her face since I was still a bit dizzy but I knew for a fact she had fire like curly red hair.

1 hour later...

Everyone has pretty much awakened so they gathered all of us into a large stadium but only about half of us were here since only red or above can move onto the next test, the next test was called Molten Rock Valley. It was pretty much a lava filled lake with only several broken pieces of rocks as ground. There were also fire beasts that dwelled at the bottom of the lake that spewed molten rocks. Only those who passed the lake are able to move on to the next test while those who are eaten, killed, or burned to death are teleported back and automatically disqualified.

The test starts the day after tomorrow 9 am.

I walked back to the dorm but on the way I saw a skinny kid getting backed into the corner by several more burly men. Hmmmm didn't know there was bullying here too.

After thinking for a while I thought to myself, "I already offended so many people, what's one more." And walked to the scene.

I'm so sorry for going on hiatus for so long but this will be resumed. I don't really have a schedule but I will post whenever I have time (the next chapter would probably be in like 2 or 3 days) I am also going to edit past chapters so yeah.
