I proceeded to a corner with little to no people where I found a target, this was a large wooden puppet that is definitely impossible to break at my level because this was made using the metal element and will quickly regenerate with the wood element these were expensive outside but since the school was just a huge treasure trove it was not such a big deal here.

I went to the puppet and took out a small knife which I obtained. It was a regular metal knife I found stacked away but since I had no better equipment I had to use it.

I made my stance and started to accumulate energy, following the directions to do the first stance in [Falling Moon Blade] the "shadow blade", this was a extremely "assassin" like stance due to its speed and when practiced to perfection it said that it will leave multiple shadows behind.

I than seemingly slowly started to wave the blade in the direction of the puppet but moments later it was as if time started going many times faster, my blade left multiple shadows as it strokes the target leaving a 3 inch wide and 2 inch thick mark on it.

The students looked amazed as Twilight, my first weapon in this world than I realized what happened, all the effort put into blending into the crowd was wasted...

They started chattering loudly and attracted multiple people in my head I just thought about how to get away as I took the blade and left in a breeze

leaving the people to only be shocked.

I returned to my dorm in a hurry unexpectedly bumping into that one-kid-who-always-sit-in-the-corner-that-is-also-my-roommate. "Watch your step", he said, it seemed like he was in a bad mood, he pushed me away and left hurriedly.

I went back pondering about everything that happened and planned hurriedly for the soon incoming spirit beast forest and auction than went to the hall, the place where multiple students engage in a fight.

It was like a tournament, you can achieve a higher rank by attending and higher ranked students can go to the upper levels of the martial library. That was my goal.

I decided to observe and maybe even fight. I sat down and looked. There was a flashy youth with a red attire on and a calm young man engaged in a fight, the winner was yet to be decided but the youth in the red attire seemed to gain an upper hand however strangely the other young man was as calm as ever still dodging hits when he made a comeback sticking the red robed young man down with a palm, I was amazed.

The winner was announced and it seemed like they were a bunch of seniors which made it clear why the fight was so long and educational. I wished to become like that too more like admire since in my past life elements did not exist.

I walked away, specifically to the blacksmith. I was poor but new students got to choose a weapon out of there so I walked there slowly only to find a burly man with a beard and a hammer in hand hammering down what looked like a sword.

"What do you want", he said in a unfriendly voice. "Umm I'm a new student so can I choose a weapon?" I asked politely. He pointed to a shelf where I felt something then saw a pair of daggers.

They seemed to twinkle in the light and I knew it was this. I took it and went to the blacksmith who was apparently Shen the main blacksmith. He was surprised but quickly told me the details.

"This knife has quite a history, it's called twilight. It is made out of cold metal, take care of it well" he said. He seemed to kind of lose a bit of the unfriendly aura but then I left holding on to twilight, my first weapon in this world.
