Melissa's P.O.V:

I splash water on my face after waking up from my nightmare and see the time was almost six in the morning. Might as well get up to train. Since that weird body transportation thing in my office near Adalina I was getting these same nightmares every night and it was getting annoying. I tried calling mother and father but they wouldn't respond to any of them or show a sign they got my message. I didn't see them after the night they told me to accept my new mate. Speaking of him, he was really very sweet. He cared for both me and my son and I loved it. I wanted to give in and accept him already but my broken heart was already barely mending itself and one more shatter and I am afraid I can lose myself forever and I want to be here at least till the war is over and I know my family and child are safe.

One of the castles maids entered my room after knocking and left a letter on the desk next to me where I usually read the boring spell books. I picked it up and the smell of my mate immediately hit my nose. I breathed it in and as much as I didn't like to admit it, I loved his scent, it was addicting and I wanted more of it but I was too afraid.

I opened the letter and read it.

Dear Beautiful Mate,

I know it is quite early but I know you are always up this early to go for training but is it bad if I ask you to skip training for one day and agree on a date with me. After all you did agree to let me vow you and make you fall for me, and after the last three dates I can really see I need to up my game to make you mine before you change your mind, so there is a little something in the closet I chose for you and I am hoping you would wear it.............u don't have to but I would like it if you would...........I'm not forcing u.........I need to stop this............not us dating....the babbling thing.........well, if you agree I would be down in the driveway in the next three hours.

PS: please don't say no :3

I couldn't help the ridiculous grin off my face. I almost skipped to the closet and saw there was a beautiful black dress with some silver sparkles on it. I immediately hopped in the shower and almost scrubbed my skin off in a hurry to get ready. In all honestly I didn't take as much time as any other girl did but I wanted to be ready early and..........i don't know what I would do after that.

I blast a gust of wind through my hair and it instantly dries. I smile in satisfaction, having magic is fun. I shimmy into the dress and do a once over in the mirror. The dress was the prettiest one I had even seen and this is coming from a tomboy who is dragged by her mother to get into dresses. I find a pair of black sandals that went perfectly with my dress and put them on as well. Oh boy, here comes the time for makeup. I carefully apply eyeliner and make it look as even as possible. I then apply some concealer to hide the huge dark circles under my eyes. With just a little bit of cherry flavored Chap Stick I was done and when I saw the time I realized I still had like two hours till Ethan was supposed to be here to pick me so I decided to go check on Danny. I can't explain it but the last few days he has been a little off. I don't know what it is and he is blocking me out and won't tell me either. I could easily prowl through his mind but he wouldn't like that.

I knock on his door and where there isn't an answer I walk in and see the room was neat and clean and Danny was nowhere to be seen. I then remember he was out training with the other pups today. I smile and walk to a book in the corner of his bed. I can say he tried to hide it but anyone who walked in could see it from a mile away. I pick it up and open it to see a whole album of pictures that were drawn. I knew Danny liked to draw and paint but all he showed me were kiddo pictures like stick figures and weirdly shaped objects but this book. It was filled with pictures of the whole family. The first picture was of ma and pa. it was like he clicked a picture of them talking while gazing into each other's eyes and then drew copying that picture. I remember that day very well. It was a family picnic and ma and pa were just telling us how they met for the first time and found out they were mates. The way they gazed lovingly into each other's eyes almost bought tears to everyone's eyes. It was really a beautiful moment. Under their photo was a note I could tell was written by Danny.

There are big ma and big pa. they are my great grandparents. They were king and queen of the werewolf world. they love me a lot and give me candy when mommy says no. they hide it under the table and give it to me when mommy is gone. I love them a lot.

I smiled at the adorable note. I flipped the page and the next page was a picture of mom smiling at what I presume is Danny. She had a little twinkle in her eyes and she had a note under her as well.

This is my gramma. She is very nice. she loves me a lot as well, she teaches me how to be a strong person even when people try to break your hearts. She brings me awesome gifts and all the candy I want. I love her a lot.

The next picture was of my uncle and aunt Max's father and mother. they were holding hands and laughing together at something.

This is grandpapa and grandmamma. They are unkey Max's mummy and daddy. They are very nice. They bring me toys and teach me how to be good people even if the world is very bad. I love very much.

The next was a picture of both Hailey and Max. Max was looking at Hailey in an adoring manner and she was blushing while looking down.

These are unckey Max and auntie Hailey. They love me so much and they give me a lot of food and unckey Max teach me fight moves and auntie Hailey taught me how to braid hair so I could do it for my mom and mate someday. doing moms hair is fine but girls have cooties. Eww. I love them a lot.

The next picture was of Dumont. Looking like one buff body guard.

This is unckey Dumont. He is a vampire prince. He gives me piggy bank rides and also how to be a buff man like him. I love him but he needs a mate. He is too clingy. I love him a lot.

Next was a picture of Adrian and Adalina. Adrian was staring lovingly at Adalina but she was looking away from him with a sad smile on her face.

This is unckey Adrian and my new auntie Adalina. They are new mates. Unkey Adrian loves auntie Adalina but she is scared of him. she has bad powers from the witch that kills anyone she falls in love with or touches. She is very sad. Unckey Adrian is very sad too. I love them a lot.

I furrowed my eyes at that but continued. Next started all the godly personalities. First was mother and father in all their sparkling glory.

These are my godly grandparents. They love me so much. They show me magic tricks and make candy appear out of thin air. They visit me in my dreams when I am bored or sad and cheer me up. I love them a lot.

Next was hades. He was standing next to a pillar with a bored expression but his eyes held amusement and in the shadow of his eyes I could see how Danny intricately drew himself making a face.

This is my awesome godly grandparent. He loves playing tricks on people. He makes cool magic and shows them to me to make me laugh. He has awesome pets. They are called hellhounds. I love them but they have nasty smelling breath. If I ever get a hell hound as a pet I would give it some minty candy so it's breath smells better. I love grampa hades a lot. He is awesome.

Next was a picture of Ethan. He was wearing the same clothes he wore I saw him for the first time. The fae clothes. I almost drooled at his shirtless body but controlled myself.

This is Ethan, he first became my friend in the forest and I defeated him and put him to the ground for trespassing but then I knew he was mommy's guest so I let him go. He is very nice. I like him a lot. Then I found out he is mommy's mate. Does that mean he is my daddy? Even if he isn't I love him a lot. He is very fun and he takes care if me and takes me on rides in the sky with his powerful wings. I love him a lot. He also tells me how he loves mommy a lot and is waiting for her to accept him. I will have to help him make mommy accept him. I would love a daddy like him. I wish mommy accepts him really fast. I love him a lot.

I almost had tears in my eyes reading that. It seems Ethan is really a good man and I should not torture him that much. I'd have to accept him now. Not just because Danny said so but it was just something I had been feeling in my heart for the past few days. I flipped the next page and it was a picture of me or rather a bunch of pictures of me. The first one was me when I first found Danny and looked into his basket. The next one was when he gave me a scare when he suddenly started crawling out of nowhere. The next was my almost teary expression when his first word was 'momma'. The last picture was of me on my throne right after I was coronated. Under it was also a note.

This is my mommy. She is the best mommy in the world. I love her so much. She is always there for me and loves me so much. She gets worried over me even if I have a paper cut. It's funny. She is so nice she says she loves the stick figures I make. It's funny those are just to put her off till I show her this book. I made this for her. She is awesome and cool. She teaches me how to fight, be a nice cur-crteos.....courteous boy/man. She teaches me how to help others and always be fair and kind in making a decision even if the decision is against our family or best friends. She teaches me how to be a nice person and most of all how to be Danny. She taught me that no matter what people say I don't need to change myself. I love her more than a million thousand stars. She is my everything. I don't think I can ever live without her. I love her so much!

I was almost crying now but I held the tears in once again. Soon the door knocked and I panicked thinking it was Danny and I was busted so I shoved the book back where I found it and stood up from his bed to look like I just came in. I looked down and saw a piece of paper lying on the floor. I immediately picked it up and shoved it in my pocket. The door opened and Ethan peeked in. I let out a sigh of relief but then grew nervous again. Oh my god I was late wasn't I?

"oh my god! I'm so sorry I'm late. I lost track of time here."

"no! you are not late, uh........i was um just very fidgety and stuff so I wanted to come spend some time with Danny. He isn't here?"

"no he has a training session with the other pups."

"oh okay! Um you look gorgeous! I um like the dress on you much more than on the rack when I selected it"

I am pretty sure I blushed like a ripe tomato and I could see Ethan's mouth fall open.

"Oh my god! You blushed! This is awesome! Hey! Don't hide it. I wanna see it."

I squealed when he tried to come near me and pull my hands away from my beet red face. I started running away from him and he chased after me. After a few seconds he caught up to me and I tripped and was about to fall when Ethan twisted and took the brunt of the fall by hitting his head pretty bad.

I immediately panicked when he closed his eyes for a moment and started checking his head for injuries. I didn't realize the position we were in but immediately got conscious of it when the door opened and a sweaty Danny came in and immediately had a grossed out face.

"Awe come on!"

He went back out and slammed the door on his way out. I looked down when I heard Ethan laughing.

"I think we permanently scarred our son."

As soon as he said that tears rose to my eyes, and Ethan was the one panicking.

"did I say something wrong? Are you hurt? Oh, I'm sorry! Please don't cry baby girl. I'm sorry!"

I then started laughing a little and without a second though hugged Ethan close to me.

"I love you, you dork!"

He gasped and pulled me away from where my head was hidden in his chest.

"really?"

I nodded and took a deep breath.

"I Melissa Lilith king accept you Ethan Kingsman as my mate, king and partner till death do us part or till you turn into an asshole, then I'm leaving your sorry ass!"

He pulled me even closer than before and started peppering kisses on my face saying thank you over and over again till I laughed and pushed him away. I stood up and dusted my dress till I felt a small body hurl into me and almost knock me off my feet.

"I love you mommy!"

I looked down and saw Danny holding me in a death grip. My legs almost felt like jello with how hard he was squeezing me. He then let me go and I almost wobbled and fell on the floor again. He then jumped on Ethan who was midway getting up and ended on the floor once again hitting his head but Danny was so out of it he just kept hugging him.

"I love you too daddy."

I smiled at Ethan and he gave me a half watery smile back and hugged Danny closer. I didn't want to ruin the first daddy/son hug so I just looked around the room awkwardly till I saw the paper I kept in my pocket before. 

Hell was raging in my eyes as I read every word in the letter.
