I was currently sitting in the kitchen watching my mom cooked breakfast while humming and dancing to the beat of a song.

"Hey, mom?"

"Yeah"

"When am I going to grams?"

"Sometime next week. Why?"

"Nothing just want to start training. She said it should be as soon as possible. There is going to be a war."

I still didn't tell mom about my dream or the fact that I shifted and am a hybrid. I heard the metal spoon falling and saw my mom standing there looking at me with her mouth open.

"w-what are you talking about? Who told you?"

"Oh no one just the moon goddess she told me last night that I am the chosen one and I also shifted too last night."

I said it all at once to get it over with. She looked at me with her mouth open. Then she looked at me with awe then something else but it was gone before I could see it.

"Show me"

I shrugged as if to say fine with me. I walked out of the kitchen door and stood in our backyard. Mom was standing in the doorway. I walked a little back and faced her then I took a jump and turned into my wolf. She looked at me with disbelief and came forward. She pets me and scratched behind my ear. I purred at her and she smiled then tears started to form in her eyes. I whined and butted my head against her chest. My size was bigger than any other alpha wolf. In this form regular pack wolf was about four feet, an alpha at least five but I was almost six and that was something. I reached my mom's ear and she was 6'3.

"My baby is growing up so fast!"

She hunched on the ground and soon shifted into her grey wolf. Her underbelly had a little tuft of white hair. Her violet eyes were looking at me. She nodded her head towards the forest asking for a run. It was custom that every newly shifted wolf goes for a run with its parents or sibling. Running in the forest we dodged branches and jumped over logs. All too soon we reached the top of the cliff and howled the howl showing a newly shifted wolf was here. Since my howl held power our pack new that their future alpha queen has shifted. All too soon another howl sounded that also had power but not as much as mine. It showed that the beta has shifted. Slowly all the wolves of our pack started howling their welcome to us.

I literally bolted out of the forest to Max's house. During the howl, I had a vision and Lilith told me about the chosen one's protector and I knew who it was. I ran at lightning speed to my cousin and saw he was outside his house pacing in wolf form. As soon as he saw me, he yipped and tackled me to the ground nuzzling my shoulder in a brotherly way. I nipped his ear a little and he backed off so I could see him properly.

He was a full black wolf with the exception of his violet eyes and the little white crown on his left paw. Where I had four-pointed crown showing queen, he had a single pointed one showing prince and beta. His left shoulder also had a little swirl of lines that matched the one I had just gotten on my left shoulder. It showed that I was the protected and he was my protector. We both shifted at the same time and ran to give each other a hug. We started screaming and shouting like little school girls. We heard laughing and saw our parents laughing at our antics.

"Happy birthday twin!"

We both said at the same time and then laughed.

"You're my protector"

'I'm your protector"

Again

"Stop saying what I saying"

"Stop it"

"Grrr"

We both showed our tongues at each other and crossed our arms like little kids.

After our mini fight which I of course won, we came back inside and everyone demanded the truth of my dream. I told them and for a moment they had their mouths agape. Then they started talking all at once. Max and I looked at each other and rolled our eyes. While they were busy talking about our powers we snuck out and called pack meeting in the pack house since every one almost lives there.

When everyone was gathered in the pack's backyard. I looked over the crowd of weres and saw at least two were missing. I growled knowing all too well who it was. I snapped my fingers and I was transported outside a room where the sounds of moaning were coming from. I made a disgusted face and knocked hard on the door. The force of the knock was so hard that the door rattled and was about to break. I smiled satisfied when I heard a thud and soon the door opened to reveal the pack's manwhore, James, and behind him wrapped in just a sheet was the pack's slut, Ally. Their faces paled when they saw who I was and the fear grew, even more, when I spoke in a calm voice instead of an angry one.

"Apparently you both didn't get my mind link from before, so I did the honors of inviting you downstairs myself."

They nodded and with another snap, I reached back to the stage. People were looking at me with awe and I just smirked. In just two minutes the two came down fully dressed. Well, as dressed as alley could be. She wore her trademark skirt that could go for undies and shirt that could be called a bra.

I cleared my throat and all heads snapped to me. Since we werewolves, we had heightened hearing and didn't need speakers.

"You might be a little curious as to why I called you here. As it is max and I's birthday today and we have shifted, we will be off to the castle for further training. I called this meeting to tell you all that in exactly one year I will ascend the throne and take charge of my pack."

I paused hearing all the cheers. After they died down I continued.

"Today I choose my brother, my cousin, max, as my beta and I will announce my third and fourth when I find a suitable candidate. Thank you for your attention. You can all return to school. Oh! And ally and Justin stay back for a while, will you?"

Soon the yard was empty safe for ally and Justin and max. I lost my cool façade and faced them.

"I don't care what you think you are by not coming for pack meetings and instead mess around your room. This happened for the past fourteen pack meetings now and I'm warning you. One more mistake and you're off to camp. Understood?"

They nodded their heads and ran away. The camp was a really subtle name for a place resembling hell. It was the worst nightmare for any pack's member. It was a place where disrespectful pack members were sent and if they didn't pass training they became rouges and if they did they had to start off as the pack's maids and cleaners till they earned a respectable title. I sighed and ran my hands through my hair. Just a few minutes ago light streaks of white entered my hair and Lilith said it was completely normal and that it would turn all white with a few golden streaks.

I teleported myself home and snapped my fingers to change my appearance. I imagined a blue sleeveless V-neck and some blue skinny jeans. When I was done I put some mascara and some cherry flavored lip gloss. I turned my now partially white hair back to its original color so that till it gets completely white I will not look like a multicolored freak. I decided to leave them in beach waves. I went out and on the way grabbed my bag and my car keys. I drove to school as fast as I can so I can meet the new alpha in town. In just two minutes I reached school and as usual, all stares were on me, or rather my car. I could see some new people, obviously from the new pack. When I stepped out of the car I was met by lustful stares from the boys and respectful bows from the girls.

Seriously you thought I would get glares from them? Well, they know me well enough. They all know I'm not like that and that I only saved myself for my mate. I casually walk through the yard and as I get closer to the front gates I am met with envious glares from girls. Girls that are not from my pack. Just outside the glass doors, I saw a group of girls huddling around something or rather someone. It was max. I roll my eyes at him and he sees it just in time to give me a wink and divert the attention of all girls on me. He jumped from their hands and crushed me in a bear hug.

"I missed you my cookie"

"Really, but we met just this morning!"

He just poked his tongue out at me. And I did the honors of doing it back to him. He might have noticed the stares I was getting from the boys so he growled possessively like a brother and pulled the blue hoodie he was wearing over my head. It might be a really good day for him to wear something other than black and then I remembered that it was my birthday, and also his. I give him another hug and snuggle close in his hoodie.

Hey, I like wearing boys hoodies, especially max's 'cause they're warm.

I was forced to roll my eyes again at the stares the new girls were giving me because I had stolen their new boy toy from them, but guess what; he is saving himself for his mate hoes!

As soon as I entered the main hall I was met by the overwhelming types of smells that felt like you were standing in a perfume shop that is next to a dumpster.

"I got the status reports on the new alpha."

"Yeah"

"Hmmm. It appears that the rouge you killed that day was the real enemy of their pack and they came here to get rid of him by training but since you did it yourself they are free to go home but there is nothing to go home to since their pack land was all destroyed by them. They have claimed the no man's land next to our territory and are done building a pack house plus some more houses for their pack members. Their old alpha had stepped down last week and the new alpha is his son named Marcus."

"Interesting"

I still felt wary of the rouge attack, I knew it was not over but I was not going to let anyone else know about it. I knew for a fact that the rouge I killed or any rouge I killed that day wasn't their leader. All rouges were minions and their leader was not one to reveal himself. I was snapped out of my thoughts when a heavenly smell of citrus and freshly mowed grass entered my nostrils. What made me stop was the smell of blood coming from that direction. I was going to make max look for what it was but I saw he had gone somewhere else and was no by my side. I followed the smell of blood and saw a crowd gathered near the east wing lockers. What I saw made my blood boil to the end that a deadly growl left my lips.

In front of me was a crowd that consisted of only the new pack's members and they were all taking turns at hitting a lone figure huddled on the floor with blood coming out of her. There was a huge puddle of blood and the sight made me want to rip someone's throat out. The blood screamed that of an innocent. When all heads snapped my way I walked forward and was stopped by a pair of hands on my shoulder.

"This is none of your business sweet cheeks how bout we do something productive in the closet."

He wiggled his eyebrows at the suggestion and I wanted to puke except the fact that I was boiling in rage. In one swift move, I had punched him so hard he flew across the hall and slumped unconscious. The people around me moved a step back. I walked to the little girl huddled in the corner. By now my wolf had taken over and we both felt protective of the girl. It felt that I had to protect her like family. I didn't know the feeling but I sure as hell wasn't going to ignore it. I walked closer and raised my hand. A little white light came out of me and entered her. Slowly the blood from the ground soaked back up into her slowly all her wounds healed and in just a minute all vanished.

I looked up at all their shocked faces and let my wolf come forward. They all bowed their heads in submission and I smirked in victory. I lifted the small girl in my hands and made her stand up. She was wearing what would be called rags. Her hair was brown and had split ends like no tomorrow. Her eyes were closed so I couldn't see them but what I saw on her face made my heart broke. Her face was filled with little scars like someone had cut her face with an Exacto knife. Her clothes looked hand me down and had spare threads hanging here and there. The jeans were all ripped and they were not as a style but like worn off from ages. Her shoes were no good also. She had her toe peeking out of the left one.

I felt rage boil inside me even more than before. Before I could ask someone else beat me to it

"What is happening here?"

"Nothing sir, this girl stopped us from this runts daily beating."

I could feel my fury advance. I was not prepared for what the stupid man replied. I thought that the alpha when he got to know about this he would stop them but it didn't help that the beta and possibly the alpha was involved.

"Listen here bitch. She is from our pack and we will do whatever we please with her, so back the fuc* off!"

"Oh really, MAKE ME"

"What is happening here, Liam"

"I don't know Marcus"

A new voice piped in and I knew it was an alpha but I was confused as to why his voice sent chills down my spine. I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't see what was coming next.
