You Have to be Lying
"Did anyone tell Rae about the pop in meeting?" I asked looking around at my fellow peers.
"Dude it is called a pop in for a reason. You do not know we are coming by." Keith remarked, a smile stretching across his face. I sigh, my nerves getting the better of me. A yawn escaped my mouth.
"Will everyone make it in time?" I asked looking around as we arrived. Keith shrugged. The fly back had been easier. Jacole had summoned a dragon to fly us across. I slept on the dragon, but I am still exhausted. I flew across two oceans for pete's sake.
Miko the shifter representative watched us. His red eyes studying us, and his short brown hair falling into his face. He wore a blue hoodie with black jeans, his purple dress shoes poking out of the jeans. He looked amused, and not all at once. We went to him for answers on where Rae was, but he had company and wasn't happy with us. Now we have a girl standing here with us. Who is not part of the meeting. Her long black hair in a bun, and her golden eyes scanning Keith's movies.
"Your movies are a bore. Don't you watch anything, not American?" she asked looking at him. He moved towards his second shelf. "That's the British one. It doesn't count." she wore a purple skirt and a grey shirt. She turned and looked at Miko. "I am bored." she mumbled.
"Jaehee, you said you would behave if you come, and you came on your own will." Keith remarked cutting Miko off. I watched the window now as Felina and Albert walked up. Opening the door I startled them as they walked into the house.
I sat in the house pencil in hand humming and drawing. My mind wandered around to the ideas of the song. A loud knocking on the door drew her attention. Quickly I grabbed the blanket beside me pulling it over my body. My invisibility cloak. The knock sounded again echoing in the quiet house.
"Hello!? It is Keith, anyone home!?" A voice yelled. A soft chuckle escaped my lips. "I can hear music, let us in please!" He didn't ask. I sighed tiptoeing towards the door before opening it. Keith gasped and walked inside.
"Keith, loud and annoying. Yes, that is true. Who is that beside you? Miko, a girl and, oh surprising. Mathrin out of his hole? How?" The sarcastic tone in my voice caused them to look around. But they couldn't see me. "Felina, good to see you, Albert, is this a meeting? Where is... aw, hello George. Still doing well?" I chuckled crossing my legs on the chair and pulling the cloth up. "Still missing someone, Saon? Where is he?" I looked around the room one last time before he walked inside. "Finally all here, plus one. A meeting? Here? Why?" I whispered now. The five males and two girls looked around.
"Remi, come on."Miko sighed rubbing his head sitting down on the couch. I smiled and moved off the chair.
"You know Rae is working, so she isn't here. And I need to go to my room, but I don't want to." I remarked looking at the other people in the room. The people looked towards Miko.
"Who are you talking to Miko?" Keith murmured, looking around the room for me. Smiling I moved towards the group from the couch. "Is it a ghost or something?" Keith's tone grew worried.
"Stop joking around Keith, ghost don't exist!" I joked and turned looking for a way to my room. The stairs were open, and I ran for them.
The front door opened as I entered my room. Rae was finally home.
