Seokjin's POV
The annoying alarm clock rings by my head and with a groan, I roll myself out of my bed. I slug my arm over and pick up my phone to turn off the alarm that I had previously snoozed. The time on my phone 8:07 a.m. I stand up and stretch my arms out, feeling a few aches and clicks in my body as I do. I slip on my slipper and walk out of my room towards the bathroom. I stop in the hallway when I notice Y/N's bedroom door open. They forgot to shut their door, I note, walking over to shut their bedroom door.
"Oh," I quietly voice, noticing that their room is empty.
"They're not in here," I say to myself, beginning to close the door.
Did they stay at the studio? I wonder, walking away. This past week Y/N has been staying at the studio, more than usual. I and the rest of the boys haven't seen them much, besides the times we all are in the studio. Sometimes they come back early, but mostly Y/N stays at the studio all night. It's not healthy for them. Y/N needs to take care of themself. I think to myself as I walk into the living room to get to the kitchen.
"Morning Jin," Namjoon greets from the couch.
"Morning," I reply.
I make my way into the kitchen, taking the kettle and filling it with water from the sink. I stand there mindlessly filling the kettle for a moment. After replacing the kettle back on the stove, I turn on one of the burners and start to boil the water. As I wait, I take my mug from the cabinet and place a tea bag in it, letting it sit on the counter next to the stove. I lean against the counter and look at the clock. 8:16 it reads, as the second hand continues to dance around in a circle. I hear the front door open, I stand up straight curious to who it is. As the door opens, Jungkook walks in. He must have gone for a run I conclude, the noticeable sweat on him and his clothes. I lean back against the counter, a little disappointed. I cross my arms and impatiently waiting for my water to boil.
"What's on your mind?" someone asks, it's Namjoon.
"Nothing," I reply.
"Really? You keep looking at the clock then the door," Namjoon states, crossing his arms.
The kettle starts to whistle, signaling that the water is boiled. I quickly take it off the stove, turning off the burner in the process. The sound of the kettle makes my head rattle like a maraca - not pleasant.
"I am?" I question, pouring the water into my mug to make tea.
Namjoon hums in response, "are you waiting for someone?" he asks.
"Not really, I'm just waiting. . . I suppose," I answer, hesitantly.
I place the kettle to rest in the stove and out of habit start dunking my tea bag a few times in the mug before leaving it alone to steep.
"I don't fol-oh, is it Y/N?" He asks, once realization hits, a smirk spreading across his face.
"Uh, yeah, it is," I confirm, staring at my mug of steeping tea.
"Are you worried, about her?" Namjoon questions, moving over next to me.
I sigh and look at him, "Of course I am, they are always in the studio. I know it's their job and all that but, I don't like it. They shouldn't be in there all the time," I pout, recognizing that we as a group have also done that in different ways.
Namjoon lets out a sigh, "It's work, we've all done it before. Y/N is no different," he tells me.
"Besides, if it goes too far we can always pull them out of the studio," Namjoon adds, a reassuring smile.
"So, pulling a Yoongi on Y/N?" I question, more so in a joking manner.
Namjoon quietly laughs, "if we have to," he shrugs.
Your POV
I tiredly rub my eyes and yawn. I've been running on various forms of caffeine and whatever will power I have. All I want right now is my bed, I could sleep for a month right now.
"Come on Y/N, finish this and then you can sleep," I tell myself.
I stretch and continue working on the track I've been cracking away at. I'm not completely sure why BangPdm wants a drive of the album. I guess he needs to see if there are any "inappropriate" songs or something. I hear my phone go off, indicating that there is a new notification. I look at my phone screen.
REMINDER: ONE MONTH TILL ALBUM DUE
My phone reads. I panic for a moment, unsure of what is going to happen within this month. What will happen after all this? I wonder, taking a sip from my iced americano.
"Ugh, that tastes gross," I say in disgust, tossing the drink in the trash.
I hear a knock on the door, I get up and answer the door.
"Hey, Seokjin," I greet.
"Hey, Y/N," he replies, smiling.
"Uh, come in?" I suggest, moving out of the way so he can walk.
"Actually, I wanted to ask you something," Seokjin says.
"Oh, um, ask away," I tell him.
"Uh, have you eaten?" He asks, stepping onto his toes.
I open my mouth to answer then I close it. Have I eaten? I wonder, trying to remember if I have. My stomach beats me to it, letting out an awkwardly loud grumble.
"I'll take that as a no. There's a nice little cafe nearby, do you want to go?" Seokjin shyly asks, putting his hands in his pockets.
"Hmm, sure. Give me a minute," I say.
Seokjin nods his head. I run back into my studio, saving the track I was working on. I grab my phone and wallet. I put on my jacket and walk out of my studio.
"Ready," I tell Seokjin, closing the door.
"Let's go," He says, motioning for me to go first.
"What do you want to eat?" Seokjin asks, as we enter the elevator.
"Ugh, anything that's not an iced americano," I reply.
Seokjin laughs, "Got it, no iced americanos. . . for you," He says.

I couldn't stop looking at everything inside the cafe. I never knew this place existed. The atmosphere here is so calm and home like. The aroma of freshly brewed and ground coffee hugs my nose. Along with the smell of pastries and bagels. The wide windows give a wonderful view of the city.
"Do you like it?" Seokjin asks.
I nod my head, "I do," I tell him.
"I'm glad," he sighs.
My eyes roam around, the walls make the art on the walls pop. The flowers and succulents add a little more color to the place.
"Alright, here is your food and drinks," one of the workers say, placing our food and drinks on the table.
"Thank you;" I say, holding my drink.
"Take care," the worker says before leaving.
"It looks so good," I mumble to myself.
"Interesting," I hear Seokjin say.
I finish chewing my food, "What is?" I ask.
"The cinnamon on your hot chocolate," He says, pointing at the mug.
I nod my head, not sure of what I should say.
"Oh, sorry. I thought it was interesting, you and Yoongi are the only ones that do that," Seokjin explains.
"I know," I say, taking another bite of my food.
A quiet hum escapes Seokjin. The two of us continue on with our thing in silence. It's nice though. I've had music and other things playing on loop for the past couple hours. So, the subtle silence and the little taps of utensils and conversations is nice. I happily sigh, taking a sip of my hot chocolate.
"We-the boys, haven't seen you often. So, how are you?" Seokjin asks, running his finger along the rim of his cup.
"Hmm, I'm okay. What about you? Are you and the others good?" I ask.
"Yeah, we're good," Seokjin says, a small smile.
"That's good," I say.
"Sorry, for not checking in more and staying at the studio," I apologize.
Seokjin looks up from his cup with a puppy dog look.
"There's no need to be sorry, I understand. We understand, it's okay," He tells me.
I sip my drink.
"Just promise me one thing," Seokjin starts.
I look at him, "What is it?" I ask.
"Promise me you won't overwork yourself," He says, a caring look on his face.
I hesitate, "You have my word," I tell him, with a smile.
"Good, now eat, you must be hungry," He says, ushering me to eat.
I giggle at him, "Alright, I will," I tell him.
