Nezu: Cosmo, thank God your alright

Nezu ran as fast as his legs let him over to Cosmo, checking her to make sure she was alright

Nezu: you are alright, no bombs placed in you or anything?

Cosmo: I'm fine Nezu, how have you been? It's been what? 3 years since I've seen you last?

Nezu chuckled: yeah, you were but a puppy... come in come in

Nezu led the dog into his office and past a confused Cementoss

Cementoss: uh.... ok then, guess I'm on brea-

Nezu: please get back to work Cementoss, or else I'm docking your pay

Cementoss: damnit...

Aizawa: well students, make sure to put these on and go to the training grounds for further instructions

Aizawa threw some clothes at Izuku

Izuku put the shirt on but it immediately tore apart

Izuku: I am Groot

Kinoko: shroom I can see it doesn't fit Grooty hehe. Well, meet you there

Everyone else left the room except for three people

Aizawa, Izuku, and Shoji

Shoji walked up to Izuku and place a hand on his shoulder

Shoji: mutation quirk huh? It seems like you got a better looking one then me, hope we could be good friends. Names Sh-

Aizawa: less talking and get dressed or else your expelled

Shoji: y-yes sensei

Shoji said going as fast as possible to the changeroom

Izuku then watched as Aizawa walked away to the training area... so having nothing else to do, he followed Aizawa and waited

Shortly afterwards the other students followed suit in gathering up, with Shoji and Kinoko standing next to Izuku

Aizawa: now then, you students will be taking a test, much like what you would normally do in school. But this time with quirks

Kinoko: w-wait, but what about the assembly shroom? S-so we know where is where and who is who?

Aizawa: if you want to be a hero, you have to think quick on your feet, learn as you go. You can't have everything handed to you

Izuku: I am Groot

Kinoko: your siding with him?!

Aizawa: Midoriya, you scored the most points in the entrance exam come here

Izuku left Kinoko and Shoji and stepped up to Aizawa

Aizawa: what was the farthest you could throw a ball in school?

Izuku: I am Groot

Aizawa: yes yes, but how far?

Kinoko: 90 meters sir, and that's holding back since he can't turn his quirk off

Aizawa: interesting, throw this ball then, but use all your strength with your quirk

Izuku nodded, saying I am Groot

Izuku gripped the ball, and chucked it but something was off to Izuku

He had planned to extend his arm more to make it longer

Aizawa stopped using his quirk and looked at the device in his hands

Aizawa: 120 meters, not bad, now do it again

Izuku nodded, throwing it properly with his initial plan, throwing it to over 200 meters

Aizawa showed it to the class

Mina: wow, that's so cool!

Denki: this will be so fun using our quirks

Aizawa: fun is it? Well then, person I last place gets expelled

Kinoko: S-SHROOM?!

Izuku: I AM GROOT!

Iida: that's unfair to the person in last place

Aizawa: life ain't fair, so you either go along, or you can walk away from me and never see me again

Everyone quieted down as they started doing tests

Izuku almost broke the gripper

Kinoko did poorly on it

Izuku just extended his legs so he was tall enough to easily leap over the sand box

Kinoko created a mushroom that she used to fling herself across giggling the entire time when Izuku caught her so she wouldn't fall

Izuku wasn't that fast, and neither was Kinoko for the dash

But Izuku was able to last the longest, even more then Momo... probably because he wanted to prove himself more to Kinoko

The other tests were pretty much the same since they couldn't use their quirks much for them. Not even the side step, no one was exceeding anyone else drastically on it

And then it was time for results

Izuku placed... second

And Kinoko... second to last

Last place being Toru

Toru: w-what? I'm in last place?

Aizawa: well then, I'll see you all tomorrow I guess... goodbye, gather your stuff and leave

Aizawa said leaving before questioning could be done

Toru left the grounds, crying for the rest of the night, thinking she was kicked out of UA

Izuku and Kinoko went to meet up to leave when they heard a cough from behind them

Nezu: ehem, you are Izuku Midoriya and Kinoko Komori right?

Izuku: I am Groot

Nezu: splendid, I believe I found your dog Mr. Midoriya, and we might need a talk... will you two come into my office?

Although confused, the two followed the chimera to see Cosmo there waiting for the two

Izuku: I am Groot?

Nezu: you two are here because I have a proposition...

Kinoko: wait. You can understand him?

Nezu: I'm one of the smartest being on this planet, of course I can. Now. Cosmo here wants to make a deal... she wishes to become a student, as long as she is by your side the entire way

Izuku: I am Groot?

Nezu: why don't you tell them yourself Cosmo

Cosmo stood up, and walked towards her two masters

Cosmo: h-hi Master... sorry if I didn't talk to you before... quirk did kinda manifest shortly after you adopted me... I hope you don't think little of me...

Izuku: I am Groot

Izuku said as he hugged his dog

Kinoko: he's right, we don't care if you have a quirk, you're part of our family now shroom

Cosmo smiled as she enjoyed the embrace

Izuku: I... am Groot?

Cosmo: my quirk? .... I don't exactly have a name for it... but I have Psionic abilities... telepathy, and telekinesis

Izuku: I am Groot

Cosmo: thank you master, I'm happy to train along with you two and maybe even become a hero myself! *bark*
