It was a couple of weeks since Marinette lost her best friend Alya. Alya had taken away all of Marinette's friends and turned them against her everyone but Adrien. Chat Noir rarely visited Marinette he only visited her once since the accident.

It was Monday and Marinette had arrived at school early so she sat on the front steps  and drew sketches in her book. Adrien stood above her watching her draw.

"Wow Marinette great work"
"Uh yeah umm thanks"

Marinette saw Alya standing alone. So Marinette decided to go talk to her.

"Ummm i have to do something Adrien got to go."
"Okay see you in class."

Marinette walked slowly to Alya one wrong movement could set a bomb off.

"Ummm Alya can we please talk."
"WELL I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY TO YOU!"

Her voice boomed across the yard a lot of people stopped to look. Even Adrien looked he was surprised.

"Ok"

Marinette walked back to where she was earlier and sat down. It started to rain.

"Marinette?" Mrs. Bustier said
"Get out the rain come on inside."

Marinette glaced inside the classroom Alya was glaring at her so was everyone else. Marinette felt unwanted.

Marinette got up and sprinted away. She heard people yelling her name. They were coming after her. Marinette saw something shinning and picked it up. Yes, a pocket knife.

Marinette couldn't see anything in the rain.

She kept running and running until she landed in something wet. The fountain at her favorite park. This was a nice way to die especially in the rain. She opened the pocket knife and cut her wrists. She screamed in pain which made her lose her breath even more in the cold cold water.

"M-Marinette"

That voice sounded familiar to Marinette. Kim.

"I Found Her."

He grabbed her by her sliced writs. She screamed in pain.
Adrien ran up to Kim and found himself grabbing Marinette out his arms.

"I got her lover boi." Alya grabbed her.

Time skipping to Later That night

Marinette was in her room alone again. But didn't know what was coming.

Tap Tap Tap

Marinette hadn't heard that noise in almost a month. She ran up and unlatched the hook on her trapdoor. The cat jumped in.

"KITTY? YOU CAME BACK."
"yeah"

She quickly ran up to him and hugged him. He broke the hug and looked down at her wrists.

"M-Mari w-what is this?"

He looked down at her wrists. Marinette's expression went from happy to depressed almost instantly.

"Did you try to- Mari d-do YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE CARE ABOUT YOU AND IF YOU KILL YOURSELF THEY WILL MISS YOU DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE NEED YOU. CAUSE I SURE THE HELL DO!"

Marinette felt tears forming in her eyes. Did he really go off on her?

He made his way up the ladder and out the trapdoor. Marinette quickly followed behind. He jumped off the roof and left poor Marinette.

"CHAT!"

He heard Marinette call his name but didn't look back he had to calm down.

Marinette ran down to her room and cried. She clutched onto her tiny cat pillow as tears gushed out her eyes.

A tiny black butterfly appeared and landed on Marinette's pillow. Then a tiny purple mask appeared on her face.

"I am Hawkmoth"
