What are you doing?

Quit being a fool!

What you really are showing,

Is that you're not that cool.

You text while you drive,

You're not wearing a seatbelt.

You have a friend by your side,

Also with no seatbelt.

You stop at a house,

To pick up more buddies.

They're more wild than a mouse,

This future may be bloody.

You start to drive,

A friend pulls out some drugs.

The other some alcohol,

And you volunteer.

"It's night time,

No one is out here..."

You stop at a red light,

And sip some beer.

Light turns green,

You're still drinking beer.

Your cousin texts you

You don't wait,

You're still drinking beer.

You're practically intoxicated.

You start steering with your leg,

Beer in one hand,

Phone in the other,

Eyes on the phone,

Not on the road.

You're friends are laughing,

And are drunk.

That all stops when they scream,

"TRUCK!"

You drop your items,

And look ahead.

The truck is heading straight to you,

You were in the wrong lane.

The yells are silenced,

Your hearing goes out.

Everything goes black,

You're finished now.

You could've driven alone,

In fact,

Be home at such a time.

You could've ignored the phone,

Or pulled over to answer it.

You Could've Prevented It All!

You're no longer cool.
